1. I bought this staff for my boyfriend for his birthday. My major problem was when I got the staff there was a large crack in one of the sections. Also it was suppose to come with a carrying case and the staff never came with one. Another problem was weapons mart never replied back to my two emails I sent them.

   this sectional staff was the most disappointing thing i have ever purchased off amazon, firstly, one dowel shattered about the second time it bumped the ground, quite possibly made out of pencil wood.
   
   the second dowel was dovetailed in the center and glued together, and it took about two tugs to open the rings enough to fall apart,
   
   this item is cheaply manufactured, and absolutely not practical for any practice application, complete waste of 26 dollars,
   
   this will be the last time i choose an item based on free shipping, luckily i wasn't injured. the seller should be ashamed of themselves

1. To start this was shipped to me a whole two days before expected, but I suppose that's because I live near a manufacturer. the first thing I did was get the measuring tape and begin measuring the sections of the staff (I've had a few bad experiences before) the measurements were exact except for slight variations on the diameter of one end it was 1/4 of an inch thicker (making it a full inch in diameter but unnoticable to the nacked eye). After measurements I decided to perform a few simple moves with it. it handles nicely and felt great. I'm glad to have gotten the waxwood, it's light and quite durable for it's size. I highly recommend it.

   serves its purpose of training



2. I purchased this item after seeing one in action in a Jet Li movie and wanting to try it out.
   Heavy foam surrounding a PVC core sturdily attached to ballbearing 5 inch chains.
   It works very well. Has not broken yet. Taking a hit hurts somewhat, this is no packing foam. Works very well, looks very professional. Only problem I have noticed is the little rubber caps on the end pop off, but they are purely for aesthetics and aren't that important even for that.



3. The foam staff is good to practice with, because it doesn't hurt when/if you accidently hit yourself. (It's a little hard to control) I know I would have many bruises if I got the wooden one! But like with everything else in life, practice makes perfect.
