1. I would like to note I am NOT a fan of the Riddick movie, Though A blade this unique tends to get your attention reguardless! This knife is very practical, It's a solid piece of metal all around. I own a pair of these and used them on a grounded, wooden post for hours! Yet after my use they shown no sign of bends, Chips or dents! They shipped to me dull, But hey I don't mind sharpening them myself. A word of caution, You can seriously injure someone with these! Their odd form makes them very deadly if sharpened as well as mine are!



2. When the claws arrived I was speachless. They are even better in person than by photo. They arrived sharp enough to barely cut butter, but some time with a good sharpener will solve that. I'm so glad I got them.



3. Most "replica" type weapons in this price range are just made to sit pretty on a shelf or wall, not these. Made out a single piece of stainless steel, these are very solid knives. As the previous reviewers stated, these do come very dull, but a file, a sharpener and a couple of hours can fix that. Once sharpened these knives are very useable.



4. These knives got here in good time and as soon as I took them out of the box I knew I was going to love them. They're strong and great to play with. On top of everything else ive managed not to hurt myself or anyone else with them yet, so I love them.

1. Arrived in a timely manner/packaged well. However, the cane itself is of zero quality as it broke within days of receipt.



2. the handle broke just trying to use it as a cane. I do not recommend this product

1. anyway--this is a great set...my man loves it...he loves sharpening it and working out with them...they fit great holding it in your hands and you can twist them and hahaha hmm what else to say? i know i already did the review for this but somehow it's not showing up there--so...theyr'e great quality...unlike some others that tend to have pieces falling off...the blades are thick which is interesting but it's got great handling and i and my husband highly recommend it for other blade lovers out there... :)

1. I bought this sword a number of years ago and have been pretty pleased. For a low cost replica I've always enjoyed this sword. Came with a very pointy tip and a bit of an edge, which I had dulled. The metal is too soft and the tang not sufficient for fight coreography. Though if you are cautious it can take some limited abuse:) But it makes an excellent pirate blade for reproduction work. My biggest problem has been the handle. The handle is wooden and quite slick, especially if your hands sweat. I highly recommend sanding or leather wraping the handle before doing anything with this blade.

1. I had recently purchased the Original SWAT boot because my last boots (a different brand) were on their last leg and were falling apart (they were over 4 years old). My business travels take me to a wide range of military bases and urban search and rescue training facilities where I need to be in boots (not necessarily steel-toed). I recently found out about these boots from a colleague and purchased a pair, which turned out to be the best boot purchase I have ever made. Not only are these boots are easy to slide on and off, especially with the side-zipper, they provide snug support and definitely allow your feet to breathe while on the job. I have no complaints about this product...definitely a must for anyone that is active in tactical environments.



2. I was in Laughlin for the Annual River Run Motorcycle Rally and was growing rather fatigued from my big, clunky leather motorcycle boots. On Thursday I had seen the S.W.A.T. boots at a vendor's booth with a big banner that read "Most Comfortable Boots You'll Ever Own." Friday morning, my legs were so tired from the previous day's walking that I decided to put these boots to the test. Prior to attending a concert on Friday night, I sought out the booth. After a half hour of searching, I found it, tried on the boots and bought them. Best purchase I had made the entire weekend! Best boots I have ever bought. I could walk around in these things for days without feeling like I'm wearing concrete shoes. Decided to buy myself another pair, just in case...



3. Well, I bought this boot because it was advertised as being "airport-friendly". This one in particular is not, it has a steel shank. The boot itself is comfortable and useable, I use it for riding motorcycles. No it does not have steel toe. I needed a boot for my commute to work, and I found another alternative where I need a non-metallic boot. This one is for non-work days then.

1. i love this item. i have a thing for swords and the kill bill movies. this was a way to get two of favorite things together.



2. Swords came quick, and were pretty heavy given that they're a set of $40 swords. These are quite obviously meant for display, so don't expect to go around chopping down bamboo with them.



3. Would love to rate this item... if the box wasn't sent to me completely empty! Reporting this vendor. Don't purchase.

2. Whatever the merits of the positions taken by the previous two reviewers and however accurate the reproduction of the gear used in the movie, the real items used by the Spartan hoplites of the Classical era were a bit different.
   
   The round shield ("hoplon") was approximately a meter in diameter, made of wood about "the thickness of a man's palm" and quite heavy, about twenty pounds. (See Xenophon about this. In the "Anabasis," his history of the of the Greek army of mercenaries he commanded cutting its way out of Persia, he reports that his men were astonished when members of an obscure mountain tribe fired arrows at them that actually penetrated their shields.)
   
   The Spartan sword was very definitely a secondary weapon. It was short, about the same size as a modern kitchen carving knife, which it very strongly resembled. It can be seen on a couple of contemporary sculptures that show Spartan warriors in desperate straits.
