1. I purchased one of these several months back as a gift for a Fencing master and fell in love with the weapon myself. While shorter than the average rapier, this small sword is incredibly light (comparible to a foil almost) and incredibly easy to handle. The engravement on the clamshell guard is very impressive and the grip has been designed for both comfort and beauty.
   
   Do not be fooled by other blades found on Amazon, this is a functional weapon made from high carbon forged steel; not some cheap knock-off made from cast low quality stainless steel. It may be expensive, however you will not find a finer blade for the historical re-enactor of late 18th to early 19th century periods.

1. for the price i was pretty impressed with this item. since the ninja almost always used a straight blade ( yes i'm a real ninja, seriously) that is why i bought it. even though it is not full tang, the handle is not wooden ( it's very hard plastic ) so it can't be broken very easy.



2. The sword is a 20 dollar sword. It was in good condition as pictured but the craftsmen ship on it was really bad. If you buy this sword you will have to look at it more than touch it.
   
   I am selling mine.
