1. This is a strongly put together item. It would be devastating in knightly battle, if the wielder could score a blow. The steel is thick and heavy - consequently the hammer is unbalanced. I believe that actual medieval weapons of this type had smaller heads. The pins that attach the metal parts to the hardwood shaft might loosen or break, given vigorous use. I would also prefer a top spike.
   The small "made in China" etched onto the steel covering the upper shaft somehow detracts from the overall effect.
   The price, appearance and solidity, however, are excellent.



2. I am in the Army and our unit motto is "Hammer Down." I purchased two of these hammers for presentations and was very pleased with the quality. I had one engraved by a local shop and used it as a trophy. I mounted the other in a case and it made a great parting gift for our commanding officer. The only notable flaw is that on one side of the Hammer, on the metal shank, the word "CHINA" is visible. Other than that I was pleased with the product~ to include the packaging and delivery. The price through Amazon was as low as any other site.



3. I have to say that this piece is definitely an awesome wall-hanger. Thats what I bought it for anyways. I'm obviously not bashing people's skulls in like this weapon was meant for, but it came in a short period of time, was not damaged in the slightest, and seems to be very sturdy. There is a Made In China engraved on the metal, which makes it a little less appealing, but if you hang that side towards the wall, it looks fine. Good for the cheap price.



4. the others who have reviewd this item are right on. the hammer is beutifuly crafted and would make a great decooration. unfortunatly thats not why i bought it. i am a little bit more... active with the hammer. i actualy practice with it. the pins are coming loose and if one was to actualy try to use it to pierce armor the head would surly break off

1. Its a pretty accurate replica of the Dragon Sword used in the video game series, Ninja Gaiden. Pretty solid construction and very nice looking. Even better looking in person than in the photographs I think. Unfortunately this is not meant to be used for any really chopping or anything, so is therefore not sharp, still pointy though so be careful. Its made of stainless steel so its low maintenance and makes a good display sword, and will probably be appreciated by sword collectors and Ninja Gaiden fans alike. Always remember to be safe when handling your sword, its not a plaything.
