1. these blades are effective, well made swords... for what thier purpose was... NinjaTo (ninja sword) are made to kill swiftly and effectively; solely for manuverability and blade to flesh combat, much unlike its cousin, the Katana, which was constructed for blade to blade combat (such as self-defence and warfare) hence the more durable blade material (swedish powdered steel, 1090 spring steel, etc...) i cannot stress this enough, do not attempt to swordfight with a ninja sword unless it is of the proper materials... 440 stainless (and besides, ninja swords are better quality in high carbon steels for improved blade hardness and terminal velocity) is not meant to withstand more than a few blows from another blade and would most certainly shatter... these blades are meant for killing... swiftly, effectively, and silently... hence the keen edge 440 can acchieve (but not keep) i can only hope that this does not inspire you to use these swords for what they were made for...



2. i just got this sword a couple days ago.its kinda thin an light compared to other ninja swords it very nicely detailed and the tip is somewut sharp.the only thing that really got me mad was that the handle was just 2 pieces of wood held together with plastic then poorly laced



3. I really like the sword, but it was shorter than I expected. I would recommend putting in more pictures to show its size.

1. This is an EXCELLENT sword!! The detail and art that went into this are superb! It's a very sturdy sword, and mine came with some very interesting Old English designs inked on the blade. The sword is a little sharp, so sharpening it more could result in a pretty lethal blade. I know mine came with a very sharp point and some sharp edges. This sword does NOT disappoint.
   The scabbard is PHENOMENAL!! It's wrapped in black leather and the steel tip is very interesting. The designs make it a wonderful piece! A very interesting detail is the chain to wrap around the handle, and the black silky rope to strap to yourself with. It's such a masterpiece, this sword and all, it will definitely be grabbing your attention and seem like a shame to use for cutting anything (even someone's throat). It's a great ornamental piece, flawless craftsmanship, and certainly of the best quality you can find.
   I received it promptly, and there were no complications or delays. The people of Sword Demon have done an EXCELLENT job, and I will be buying more swords from them!

1. I didn't buy this particular item from Amazon, I bought it off of Imerial Weapons' website a few years ago because Amazon didn't offer it at the time. I've had this Katana for almost 4 years old now and it is an incredible object worth every penny of the asking price. This is definitely a sword for the serious collector who values functionality at affordability. It DOES withstand the rigors of cutting exercises as the product entails. It DOES feel incredibly solid upon impact with the target (always use something no harder than a dowel rod; use cardboard tubing, boxes, tashegimi mats if you can afford them, etc.). Before you test make sure you have some training as to how to use one of these. EDGE ALIGNMENT IS CRITICAL WHEN YOU ARE DOING CUTTING DRILLS!! These swords are incredibly sharp, quick, and light and a slight miscalculation or twist of the wrist on your part could end the life of your sword and/or end you up in a hospital needing a fair amount of stitches, both will ruin your day. Treat it with respect as it is the real deal! Another thing as well: DON'T FORGET TO OIL THE BLADE BEFORE YOU SHEATH OR STORE IT!! The blade is made of 1095 High Carbon Steel which means that it is highly prone to rust! One simple fingerprint on the blade will cause a rust mark if not cleaned off, and depending on the placement of said fingerprint, it can compromise the integrity of the blade if not treated. I recommend spraying WD-40 or rubbing vegetable oil on the blade and wiping it clean with a rag or a soft paper towel before sheathing (don't worry if there is still residual oil on the blade, it's good for the steel and creates a protective moisture barrier). I also recommend picking up a sword cleaning kit (look up Sword Demon on Amazon, he sells them for like $8.00) to look after your investment. The one thing about Good, Real Katanas is that they last hundreds and sometimes thousands of years. This sword is the real thing and if you take care of it, it will last you way past your children's, children's, children.
