1. The sword was in good shape and looks just like Kain's weapon in the video game. Great for costume or looks purposes. Not to be used for fighting this is strictly a conversation or show piece.

2. I like the product, but you get what you pay for. Firstly the weight distribution is horrible. The "wolf head" handle is bulky and heavy and therefore very hard to grip properly. In the product features the seller mentions that this cane "Makes a Great Costume Piece", indeed it does, but sadly that's about its only useful function. It is hardly "Engineered for heavy duty use and guaranteed to last a lifetime" as the product description claims. I made the mistake of actually trying to use the sword - With moderate force I sliced the sword against a punching bag and the damn blade broke. The Steel Blade totally fractured from the handle and fell to the ground with a tinny clang, and with no damage whatsoever to the punching bag. So now my sword cane is just a cane, and as far as canes go - you'll find much better than this. The extremely light weight aluminum shaft is highly susceptible to getting dented and scratched. And as I mentioned already the weight distribution is ridiculous. The blade is far from being "razor sharp", in fact it's dull as a butter knife. The sword does not speedily retract from the shaft as it takes about five full turns on the handle to unscrew it from the shaft. There is no insulation in the shaft so when you use the cane you cane hear the blade clanging around inside. So if you're looking for a durable sword cane, keep looking. This product is best suited as a "Costume Piece", it's a novelty item for display, not for actually use as a tool or weapon. But even as a costume piece or as an apparel accessory the cane is very cheap looking. The most import thing one should know is; is it worth the price? To which I say, yes. For $30 you get what you pay for, it's a cheap price for a reasonably cheap product. However the list price of $50 is absurd, the quality of the product is not worth $50. On a positive note though the cane does have sturdy rubber grip at the base.

1. I purchased this item on E-Bay for around $50 after shipping.It is the best piece in my collection. It's sharp, well Balanced and a great entry level cutter! The only thing I would change is the wrap on the handle. It frays a bit after swinging it a few dozen times but all in all I couldn't ask for a better value. Similar Katanas are around $300 or more retail.

1. first at looking at the sword I thought it was nothing special but since I have a sword collection i thought wat the heck and i bought it. Only when it arrived I saw that it was an awsome sword. The metal was shiny ans smooth(maybe a finger smudge here an there but you really cant see it). the scabbard was made of real leather and brass and the hilt too. It was a little heavy (5-9 pounds) but after practicing you get really used to it. hope this helped you buy or not buy it. :)
   *was missing the free knife though. but maybe the computer messed up the order



2. This sword is a really good deal. It's well crafted, pretty sharp, comes with a nice wood scabbard, and just looks really cool... oh, and it's not expensive! The only complaint I have is the text printed on the blade near the handle (marking the type of steel). The brass on the pommel and scabbard really lends itself well to that "old-viking" feel.
   
   Last comment: even though it's bladed and looks really well put together, I'm not sure it would be sturdy enough to actually deliver a blow. It may be, but I don't want to test it.
   
   Overall, I'd give this sword 4.5 out of 5.

4. this sword is amazing it is very well put together and arrived in good time.
   it is well balanced and is very good looking.
   however it is not sharp witch was a let down but other than that it was very nice.
   i would recomend this to anyone who wants a nice cheap sword.
