4. Ok, i received this sword yesterday in the mail around the end of the day, this sword came in 6 days which was very fast shipping. the sword itself feels great and looks very like sasuke's sword from Naruto, overall i only have 3 things that i found slightly wrong with this sword.
   1.the sword wobbles around a lot in it's sheath and can be heard when running.
   2.the sword came with a bit of rust on the thing that holds the sword in the sheath (the part at the bottom of the blade).
   3.The sword only has the black stripe on one side.
   Bottom line this is a great collectors item not sharp at all except for the tip of the sword and is a great collectible for any naruto fan.



5. this blade was very ocward but it is one of a kind item... it was in very good condition... it was here in three days (minimum) which i loved... i had some problem putting the blade back in the scabbard but i just repeated taking it in and out and eventually it was fine... i give this amazing sword 5 stars

1. The picture looks sweet an all but I'm a photog and I know they altered the lighting angle on the picture to make it look like it's "white sheen".
   But it's not. It's seriously "rainbow metallic" with slight white glinting off the blades. I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND making the sword truly white, with a small amount of rainbow sheen to it's reflection.
   Other than that it's actually REALLY sweet. But good luck going to bars or clubs on Halloween with it; it is made of metal (supposedly titanium, could be titanium plated at least) and can EASILY penetrate flesh. IT IS A METAL BLADE. But it looks sweet enough.



2. This item is as described in the reviews it is cheap and cheaply made. The package came looking like a truck had runover it and the wooden plaque designed to hang the sword from was damged "looked like someone smashed it with a hammer". The sword itself looks cheap and flimsy, and the blades were bent in opposite directions so that when hung up on the wall one bends towards the wall and one sticks out towards the front. This was supposed to be a Valentines gift for my husband who is a Halo fan, i bought it to hang in his Game room. I knew it wasn't meant for real sword play but i still expected decent packaging, and a well made and visually pleasing specimen. I got neither of these. I managed to bend the blades back so that they are even and symetrical but the wooden wall hanger is damaged beyond fix. I didnt want to mess with sending it back because it was a gift, the disapointment was non-fixable when my hubby opened the package and saw it all messed up. Don't buy from this company this product is cheap and shipped cheap.
   
   EDIT:as of 3-2-10 i still haven't heard back from the company regarding my email i sent about the above described problems. Don't waste your time on this company!!



3. When shopping for a birthday present for my boyfriend, I stumbled upon this and thought it would be perfect. He is a Halo freak and even designed a tattoo involving this sword. I knew I had to get it. The reviews scared me becuase I was expecting a piece of junk, but it came out so much better than that. Yes, the black handle is plastic(but not hollow, cheapy plastic), and yes the metal is thin and came a little bent (very easy to bend back though, and yes, the box came a little marred, but he loves it anyway. The five star rating is his rating and he ran to his office and immediately put it on his wall. The next week he spent showing it off to people who came in. He told one of his best friends back home about it and his friend told him to marry me. For the Halo nerd, the small things don't seem to matter. If you know a Halo nerd, this is the perfect gift.



4. My 11 year old son wanted this halo sword and so we ordered it and I was a little shocked when we got it. It is definitely a real sword. It is EXTREMELY sharp and dangerous for children. Now I know why it wasn't sold in stores. My son loves it still, because it is great quality. We had to put duct tape all along the sharp edges and thank goodness they already had the points at the ends covered with very sturdy plastic that we left on. Not something for the kids to play with at all. Nice to display though. Beautiful sword with all the different colors. Hope this helps!!

4. I recently purchased a Dragon Claw Finger Armor Blade(Black) and am really pleased with it. I have slender fingers and I had read allot of reviews of various finger armor complaining about them being to big and loose so I was kind of wondering if it would fit well enough. The dragon claw fit's good, I have slender fingers but it fits on well and doesn't slide off unless I point my fingers straight down. It looks awesomely cool, fits well and is a great buy for the price. Highly recommended.



5. This thing is nice, it comes actually pretty sharp and well put together. The day I got it I instantly used it to rip up my old homework, with ease of course. I will definitely buy more of these for every finger. Also I have bought from Sword demon before, its a very trustworthy site. Overall, very very good for price

1. Overall this is a smaller shield than I was hoping for but does its role. The handle on the back is surprisingly efficient. As for the detail on the shield, Some of it seems off-centered but overall for it's price it is a good buy as a prop.



2. Though a great replica and a good price, I did expect a bit more. My main complaint with this item is the paint job. It's not fantastic. You can tell they used a stencil... cause it blurs off the edges a bit. But oh well. It's for a 5 year old... but it's way cheaper than others I've seen.

1. When ordering I was unsure about picking this sword or getting another set of 3, in a different color. I must say I am thrilled with my choice. The reverse blade isn't sharp, beveled; but it is an authentic weight and is made to the best quality you'll see below the $300 price range. Clearly this sword is capable of being sharpened to battle readiness, but its hard to risk damaging it. The fact that the blade is reversed makes my favorite part of the purchase, a truly unique sword.



2. Loved the feeling of holding this blade in my hands. The hilt seemed much longer than most swords I have, but that's great since I find it hard to grasp some swords with two hands. Just felt a touch excited when I examined the blade and touched the backside to feel the sharpened side. Heh, my wife loved seeing it too. Not overly excited about the stand since the sword kind of sits oddly in it, but it's not enough to dash the happiness of having this sword.

5. Delivery was on time,this is a very sturdy sword. Considering that people say "you get what you pay for" I got more than I expected. Although you have to understand that it is not super sharp and therefore not made to cut stuff such as bamboo. Also its blade being on the opposite side will make it difficult to swing properly. There one specific problem that irritated me two days after I recieved it. I noticed there was some sticky substance(much like tape residue) along the the unsharpened end of the sword, it was about the width of a quarters edge.It is removable but you should be careful not to dmage the blade.

1. It arrived in atimely manner and was exactly as advertised. I am very pleased with it



2. This is a fair stick, especially considering the price. Pros: Stiff construction, limited kubotan use if theres no time to get the blade out. Good construction, decent steel. Cons: Tall. Couldnt be used as a cane by anyone under 6 foot. If your short, it is a walking stick. Screw type blade removal. Takes 5 turns to get it out, so you better know trouble is coming. If it had a real steep thread pitch, or a friction release, I would give it a 5.



3. First thing's first, this product is not the one displayed in the picture it's labeled as. The picture displays a much longer & thicker blade than what you actually get. The actual blade looks more like an elongated kitchen knife than an actual sword.
   
   Even with that said, you really can't complain too much for a $10 blade. The product itself has a nice heft to it, as well as a pleasing appearance on the exterior. The blade is not too delicate (like you might expect for $10), and I would trust it if I actually had to use it for whatever reason. The blade comes pre-sharpened, so I would advise any potential costumer to be extremely careful with it upon receiving the product.
   
   Overall this is really a display piece. It's really not legal anywhere in the US to carry one off your property, and while it might stand up to light or medium usage; any actual "sword fight" attempts would likely result in the blade snapping off. It's something pretty to look at, and at the $10 price I can't complain too much about the false advertising.

When i was buying this it was kinda as a joke i just figued i could mess around with it for a few days before it broke since it was only $10. this can sword is actully prity well made. it dosen't rattle around to bad like some sword canes do when your walking around with it and it stays nice and tight so not to work its why out when your walking with it. the blade comes out of the box decently sharp, i will probly sharpen it up a little more but for 10$ i was exspecting something that wouldnt cut paper but i was plesently suprised. now you can't go playing ninga with this thing and whacking it aganst to many hard objects or you'd probly break the blade but honestly if you really had to you could stab the heck out of someone with this. but still it not much of a slashing sword. overall for the price this thing is more than outstanding.

1. I bought 2 of these things... 1 for my son and 1 for me. My son loves the style, and all, but my handle breaks after 4 or 5 small trees. Maybe it's designed for light use. It's not a man's tool. Also, my son's blade has been sharpened too high on one end and is obviously lop sided. It's a good hunk of metal to hang on the wall but I don't reckon it's suppose to be used. Gonna Super Glue my handle and see what's up. Not recommended for heavy use. It's purty though.....



2. I know why you're here, you were searching the web asking yourself "where can I find a blade that can be used for hunting, survival, cutting down overgrown weeds, and fighting ninjas?" If you need a blade to handle all 4 of these absolutely essential uses, look no further!
   
   This is the best hunting, survival, machete, ninja sword I have ever used! We all know many other hunting, survival, machete, ninja swords there are out there that aren't up to snuff. This is the one!



3. I bought this as a gift for my zombie-killing-obsessed husband, and he loves it. It arrived very nicely packaged and in a timely manner. The tip of the blade is sharp on both sides, which gives it an added oomph. The only thing I can see that bothers me is the handle: its hard and not very comfortable for long-term holding. Fellow zombie enthusiasts should consider adding some kind of material to make it more comfortable. Very easy to do if you have a few minutes of free time!



4. With the pricetag on this one, I was expecting a piece of junk but it has pretty good reviews so I took a chance. I was not disapponited. I would describe this as a semi-functional piece. You don't want to go out whacking trees with this but if you needed to hack through some brush this would suffice. I imagine it would work well for home defense if the guy has a knife or is unarmed and you can't get to your gun in time. It's pretty well made, it is one piece of steel so you won't have it falling apart on contact. For the money you can't really ask for a better piece, but Ramirez's sword from Highlander it is not.Don't go challenging people to sword fights and shouting that there can be only one. You'll have to spend a bit more for one of those.



5. I see how some reviews say that it can't cut through trees or whatever but it doesn't say that it will. For 20 dollars you can't expect to get a super sharp blade. It is a replica and is best for display or bragging to your friends. It looks great (even better than the picture) and is sharper than i expected. So its a great product

1. The first time I collapsed it, the last segment of the sword stuck... never to extend out again. It was difficult to get it to collapse at all, lots of wiggling and force.
   
   What a piece of @&%&! Worthless! Money down the drain!



2. This sword is amazing. That other guy is a moron, if the sword gets stuck there are about 8 simple screws on the handle to take off. just note 2 are shorter than the rest they have to go in the exact spot you got them. but once the handle is off the entire sword comes out and each piece can be easily slipped in and out.
   I was expecting a bit more from the carry case, but its not bad. overall a very good sword for $10



3. I purchased this extendable sword to keep up my Tai Chi practice during a 2 month roadtrip. I was skeptical of how well it would work because of the low price, but a fellow Tai Chi student recommended it. And it worked extremely well. The feel is very close to normal practice swords, with a very nice balance and solid feel. The extension mechanics work well, and you hardly notice that it is a travel model. The rounded point and edges is helpful for practicing in confined areas. The travel case is convenient although the velcro fastener tore off quickly. I really am happy with it and plan to keep using it in the future. Overall, it is well worth the price and I highly recommend it.



4. I recently ordered and received an extendable Tai Chi sword. First, I want to establish that I received the item in excellent contitions. In addition I received it in less that the expected time. About the sword, it is a practice one in which the weight is less than the standard competition sword but it serves it purpose. If you need a sword to practice the sequence and routine of any Tai Chi sword form, it may help you to do it. In addition you can take it anywhere you go, so your practice can be perform in any acceptable setting. Indeed I recommend the sword!

1. i was looking for combat blades well i found them you can use these for combat right out of the box they are good weapons but if your looking for showoffy junk then go for another set of swords these were made for practical fighting good to suit up men cheaply if ever that situation did arise good for self defence i have a cz-82 hand gun and these by my bedside at all times i also use these for training a weapon is only as good as its handler i would sudjest these for begginers and experts alike if you want a weapon that is a one cut-one kill this is it it does need to be shapend if you want that razor sharp sword but otherwise this set is perfect for any one willing to use them. p.s. i have had people tell me that swords are useless in todays modern warfare and defence these people are utter morons they do not think about if theyre country is ever invaded they also rely on theyre military forces and are so sure of themselfs if your cocky like this then your an idiot every country has its weak points even my own country America i am a firm patriot and love my country but i do think logically

It's a good buy and an even better price the strap isn't to great as soon as I got it, it took an entire 15 min for it to fall off but I went to walmart and remade the thing to how I would use it because when u try and remove the longer one it get caught a lil and for it to come out smoothly the smaller one has to be out but this is an easy fix with the right tools I ut a second strap on it so it is close to the body and so it's not loose and I removed the button and put a magnetic strap it's faster to get to this way but overall it's great hope this helps thanx

   for the price this set includes the longer sword which is REALLY great. I needed something for some trail clearing behind my new house, and this served the purpose really well. After sharpening the blade I had a great time cutting down vines and thorny plants. The smaller blade is perfect for display/decor, and the scabbard is nice for the price. After spending some time sharpening them properly, these blades performed well for me.
   
   
   CONS
   This metal, particularly the very tip of the blade, WILL BREAK, like how an exacto knife always loses their tip, so don't try to bend it or force it on things. Also, it isn't very sharp in particular right around the curve of the blade it isn't sharp at all- almost dull! The handle grips will slide around and bunch together, and one day I'm sure they will become loose and break off; I just leave them alone even if they bunch up during use.
   The Metal may rust- I don't think it's stainless steel. The scabbard bends and is prone to hiccups as you slide the sword in. You have to be careful- you can't just force your swords to sheath- you have to guide them in.
   
   BOTTOM LINE
   I got this set for 23USD - Definitely worth it. Despite some of the cons I've listed, I think this set is above expectations for the price. They have an authentic appearance and upon closer observation they appear to be of good construction, and have this basic awesome feel to them. I didn't experience slipping or sliding with the handle grips, despite the fact that the grips slide down the handle and bunch together. You might be looking for a sword like the longer one, but don't really feel like the smaller one is worth your purchase. I'd pay 23$ just for the longer one, and really that's just what I did. I'm happy with my purchase and the shipping was 3 days early.



4. I have owned these swords for a few years. These guys are excellent for practicing technique. Yes, they could be sharpened and turned into a weapons but, these are not true combat swords. If you are into practicing martial skills and performing your techniques with a blade that has a danger factor and not risking cutting off a limb, then this is a great buy.
   
   If you are a professional and are going into combat, goto cold steel or traditional Filipino blades.



5. I bought this product for a good price and it was delivered fast. The blades look pretty cool but the longer one came with a bent tip. It was shaped like a "C". They didn't come sharp either but i have someone who will fix the tip and sharpen it at no charge, so it wasn't a big deal. If you put the blade into the sheath to hard it will poke through. Overall these blades are a good buy for the price.

5 comments about Ichigo Tensa Manga Full Functional Sword.

1. This sword is very beautiful. From what I can tell it is a perfect replica except for the habaki (base of the blade) which is gold instead of black like in the manga. This does look nice though.
   
   In terms of it being functional, the blade is relatively sharp. The only thing I have cut is the cardboard shipping box and it went through easily. This did cause the black liquid finish on the blade to smudge however and it will not buff off. The black finish also has a couple small chips in it. Cutting things with this blade does seem like it will mess up the black finish, so this hurts the "functionality" a bit and is why I gave it 4 stars. Other than that, this is a very nice sword and a very good price with all the accessories.



2. Well bleach is one of my favorite anime series and I have to say that this is a very nice replica of zangetsu. The only thing really wrong with it is that the base of the blade is not black. Other than that, I really love this sword and am very glad that I bought it. Well worth the price

4. First off this is a beautiful sword have no doubt about that. There are only two gripes (and are rather trivial) that I have about it and are the only reason it gets a 4 instead of a 5.
   
   1) "China" is written on the blade in some yellow ink.
   2) The use of plastic for the "fuchi" and "kashiri."
   
   As for everything else this is a great sword and definitely worth it. I love this sword it makes a great addition to my meager collection and looks great. As for the "china" and the plastic for the price and surprising quality it's quite easily ignorable.

5. This I bought for cosplay purposes. It isnt super sharp but can cut though card bord easily. it came with a display, and has its own case. very nicely done.
