- The pads are priced well, and shipped reasonably fast so good review for the seller. the pads themselves are very thick down the middle, along the front edge of the shin, which provides awesome protection, but makes them just the slightest bit cumbersome (The top can press agains your kneecap a bit when you full extend your leg at the knee). also, the pivot point between the shin and foot pads is just a short lenght where there is no padding between the front and back layers of external material, which provides good flexibility, but looks like it might tear with a few misplaced kicks since the material seems to be that not-so-strong psudo-nylon stuff. This also makes the foot pad FEEL like its not-so-securely in-place, and will move around, but it generally stays put. Also, the elastic straps are a bit short, so these may squeeze, or even cut into your legs a bit if you have big calves. I guess this is all just nit-picky stuff since these actually get the job done well. i feel very protected wearing these things, and often go around tae kwon do class kickin' everything just to laugh at how much it doesn't hurt me. DEFINITELY WORTH THE PRICE.

- What I like about these shin guards is they fit in my back pack along with my Gi and gloves. Also, when feeling violent, no need to kick somebody in the shins, yo. Read this book and lighten up and love your fellow man--> The Little Guide to Happiness: How to Smile Again
