  1. They are an Excellent choice for anyone desiring to learn the ways of Sai usage. They have a nice firm grip and the rubber is sturdy enough not to bend out of control. Excellent Excellent product! Good product to start with before moving to the 'Sharp' Sais!

  2. This item easily bends. It got black paint or whatever on ever thing it scratch. I would recommend the TMA sais. They appear to be an improvement. These things look like a safety hazard, so I'm throwing them out or I might use them for holloween or sale them to a junk yard.

  1. These were around way before anyone knew how to pronounce them. way before jennifer garner ever used them in a film. The steel version is great. only my thing is this. If you are new to this and you saw these first, don't get them, get the foam version first with the dvd. then once you are comfortable get the steel with the right case (they have a case just for these). They go great with the DVD (and there are only 1 maybe 2 good ones here). Don't just have these and let them sit. Know the history, how to care for it, how to use it and so on.

  2. the guy who said to buy the foam ones witht he dvd was right, if you can't go to a Kobudo gym (karate weaponry) but well, i am a spanish kid and I do take Kobudo lessons. i never had foam weapons ( i have Bo Nunchakus and Octagon Sais so far ) and never took any damage. you just have to be careful, and hey, i'm a white belt! so, if you can't go to a gym, buy these and a nice DVD (or book?), but if you have any Kobudo association or official federated gym near, just buy these and your master will teach you almost everything you really NEED to know in a couple of days

  3. i been using sais in my martial arts for 4 yrs now they are great to work with and once you get hang of it you can do all the stuff with them just like Elektra does i used the round ones at first it took me 1 yr to manage them to learn each and every move i mean not everyone is capable of handling them, then after one year i switched to real kind ones with sharp ends and now i got elektra ones from the movie they rock!! i love them.

  4. This twin sais are very good. They are good for practicing as well as for a budokai. It has a dull edge,so you wont get hurt, but it still is swift and great for non killing stuff.Need help about anything? You can contact me to:jeancarlo@libertypr.net or tenchinkurio@hotmail.com

  1. I was looking for a cheap pair of sai, and this fit the bill. I am satisfied with the quality of the product, especially for the price paid. If in the future I am looking for more of the same, I will definately order from this user again.

  2. I bought these and they got to me really quickly. They were in great condition. I highly recommend these for beginners.

  3. Beautiful SAIs! They're exactly like I thought they were. Simple to understand movements and use.

  4. These are fine for kata practice, however in the first three months of using them the knob on the butt end has already fallen off of one of them.

  1. If you've never held a sai, they are heavier than they look, and these are no exception. These sai are a bit longer than most martial arts sais. The point of balance is just slightly lower than the beginning of the spike "blades." These come to a very very lethal point. They are basically large stilleto/thrust daggers with trident style guards and one piece metal design including the handle. Despite the movie inspiration, these are actually one of the most dangerous weapons you can pick up. The ornamental red fixtures tend to come off, but are easy enough to glue back on, if you care. The metal seems to be aluminum, but is still hard and heavy enough to fight with. The extremely pointy tips however, will bend if you drop this on a hard floor or thrust it into brick or harder wood surface. I ended up snipping a tiny bit off each end, and filing the ends to points again, to create stronger points at less of an angle, which will not bend. Still, most likely you will love this item, it feels satisfying in the hand, and is a lot deadlier than most "combat knives." This gets a 4 stars, and the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because you have to do a little bit of work on the points to get them strong enough to knock around.

  2. Great product, except for the fact the red gems fell off during shipping, but I didn't personally care. I love these, and I'm definitly happy with my purchase.

  1. i bought this sai to decorate my room and they look great ! =)

  2. This things are pretty good if your just going to use them for a pattern but are not designed for sparring. The handle wrap came off but since the handle has texture underneath the wrap its ok. My problem with them is 4 months after purchasing them(and using them in sparring) the prong broke at the point where it had been welded to the shaft.

  3. I really liked the Sai that I ordered because I practice with them, I try not to be too rough though. They are definitely an experience and this pair of Sai sends fear down the spines of those that see me with them, it's awesome!!

  4. These are really great while they last. One of the prongs broke off while throwing them. Otherwise really great for learning. Worth it.

  5. I have already learned three effective grips to hold each sai and all of them can either protect your hand or arm from blows, strike with the heavy steel base, or catch an enemy's arm or weapon.. only gripe is that they can be very loud and the chrome wears easily to some cheaper inner metal..
