  1. They are an Excellent choice for anyone desiring to learn the ways of Sai usage. They have a nice firm grip and the rubber is sturdy enough not to bend out of control. Excellent Excellent product! Good product to start with before moving to the 'Sharp' Sais!

  1. I wanted to like these, but I cannot recommend. The finish had dings on it in places and some small rusted spots. The grips were of poor quality and the side 'tongs' (sorry can't remember the proper name) were not even on both sides. Worst of all, the blade on both sides was not straight or 'true' but bent slightly. The weight was fine, but there wasn't any way that I could keep these. Perhaps I just got a bad pair. There were many positive reviews on the sellers website, so I was puzzled by the quality.

  2. These are great! The finish is nice but if you want to preserve it, dont go swinging 'em. Well crafted, definately sturdy.

  1. These were around way before anyone knew how to pronounce them. way before jennifer garner ever used them in a film. The steel version is great. only my thing is this. If you are new to this and you saw these first, don't get them, get the foam version first with the dvd. then once you are comfortable get the steel with the right case (they have a case just for these). They go great with the DVD (and there are only 1 maybe 2 good ones here). Don't just have these and let them sit. Know the history, how to care for it, how to use it and so on.

  2. the guy who said to buy the foam ones witht he dvd was right, if you can't go to a Kobudo gym (karate weaponry) but well, i am a spanish kid and I do take Kobudo lessons. i never had foam weapons ( i have Bo Nunchakus and Octagon Sais so far ) and never took any damage. you just have to be careful, and hey, i'm a white belt! so, if you can't go to a gym, buy these and a nice DVD (or book?), but if you have any Kobudo association or official federated gym near, just buy these and your master will teach you almost everything you really NEED to know in a couple of days

  3. i been using sais in my martial arts for 4 yrs now they are great to work with and once you get hang of it you can do all the stuff with them just like Elektra does i used the round ones at first it took me 1 yr to manage them to learn each and every move i mean not everyone is capable of handling them, then after one year i switched to real kind ones with sharp ends and now i got elektra ones from the movie they rock!! i love them.

  4. This twin sais are very good. They are good for practicing as well as for a budokai. It has a dull edge,so you wont get hurt, but it still is swift and great for non killing stuff.Need help about anything? You can contact me to:jeancarlo@libertypr.net or tenchinkurio@hotmail.com

  1. I was looking for a cheap pair of sai, and this fit the bill. I am satisfied with the quality of the product, especially for the price paid. If in the future I am looking for more of the same, I will definately order from this user again.

  1. i bought this sai to decorate my room and they look great ! =)

  2. This things are pretty good if your just going to use them for a pattern but are not designed for sparring. The handle wrap came off but since the handle has texture underneath the wrap its ok. My problem with them is 4 months after purchasing them(and using them in sparring) the prong broke at the point where it had been welded to the shaft.
