1. I found this to be a solid, well-built bag. It's easy to roll into a corner when not in use. The water-filled base is heavy enough to keep it planted during most kicks and punches. It does move and slide a bit, so circling it while working out is a good idea. My brother and I were using kicks and elbow strikes which knocked it over, then we read the manual states: do not knock it over. Oops! I would not recommend using shoes with sharp treds when kicking, but the material is tough and resiliant. I'm very happy with it. No complaints.



2. my son has taken up martial arts and instead of punching me he uses this bag it is great.



3. Overall a good work-out companion. Needs to be more stable. Filled with water the wavemaster moved around all over the place. Filled with sand it stays in place a bit more. Filled with sand it moves slightly with my punches. Kicks forget it...unless up against a wall



4. Great bag for recreational boxing, great design as pictured. Easiest way to fill is by using a hose... otherwise it takes a while. It DOES wobble when you punch it even slightly... if there are no neighbours underneath then knock yourselves out... but in my case it's a problem! I prefer when a sparring partner holds the bag... otherwise I do more shadow boxing around it.



5. I started cardio kickboxing this spring, and they use the Powerline Wavemasters for more than half of the class time. I couldn't get enough. I had to order one for myself to use at home during my "off" days. I ordered mine straight through Centruy and it is awesome. Even in class, on padded mats, the bags will move around as you work on them. So I also recommend the "shadow boxing" technique where you move around the bag as you work out. This is only for thoes of us who "go at it 100 miles an hour" because there are some ladies in my class who never move the bag at all from punches or kicks. For my home model, I have it on carpet, and I went and purchased a sheet of that non slip grip rubber material and put it under mine. Works great keeping it in one place.

1. Bought this cause it enables you to use "u bolts" to mount on pole but am dissappointed in the lack of engineering for that purpose as to be stable whilst taking a pounding. Plus it has a flange on the end of the horizontal rail that there is no apparent function. It appears that this is made from spare parts of some other monstrocity like the strecher that they STUPIDLY sent me first that I had to deal with returning all 50 lbs of. Also, the cheap particle board "backboard will never be adequate and have to be backedup with 3/4 plywood at least. What a joke. I debated sending it back too but, decided I would beef it up as mentioned because it came down to the mounting means verses price; I MEAN 80 BUCKS IS A LOT TO SPEND ON A COUPLE OF MOUNTING BRACKETS that I could also have just as well fabricated. Anyway, I do not recommend peddlers and/or "drop shippers of gym equiptment or, anything for that matter where the customer service flunky gets arrogant and, unapoligetic about the shipper's incompetance. And, behaves rudly dodging blame by reassigning mistake and is somehow the buyer's because the chowder headed customer service dude does not identify his outgoing email therefore getting lost with regards whos who..
