- Bought this for the girlfriend so she can practice her Karate at home. She loves it! Great quality, great deal.
- I purchased this for my husband and he loves it. I had been searching for one for some time. This one was so reasonably priced. It appears to be well-made and exactly what he was wanting.
- I SHOPPED A LONG TIME FOR A HEAVY BAG. I LOOKED AT ALL THE TOP BRANDS. WHAT SHOULD I PURCHASE? WATER FILLED OR SAND FILLED OR NOT FILLED AT ALL. SHOULD IT BE COVERED IN VINYL, CANVAS OR NYLON, I HAD NO IDEA. I KNEW THE NAME TKO AND IT WAS THE LOWEST PRICED ( I KNOW ), BUT I LUCKED OUT. THIS BAG IS GREAT. THE BAG IS MADE OF CANVAS WITH A LITTLE NYLON RUNNING THROUGH IT. I'AM NO EXPERT, BUT I THINK VINYL IS MORE PRONE TO SPLIT THAN THE CANVAS OR NYLON. I WAS REALLY SURPRISED HOW WELL IT WAS MADE AND HOW GREAT IT LOOKS. IT IS FILLED WITH SOME TYPE OF SAND AND THE SEAMS AND ALL THE STITCHING ARE WELL DONE. I'AM GLAD I CHOSE THE 100 LB BAG, IT DOESN'T MOVE AROUND MUCH AND I WEIGH 220. IF IT DOES SWING TO MUCH FOR YOUR TASTES, IT HAS A RING ON THE BOTTOM THAT CAN BE ATTACHED TO THE FLOOR. ANOTHER NICE FEATURE NOT ALL BAGS HAVE. AFTER THE FIRST TIME YOU USE THIS I KNOW YOU WILL HAVE A BIG SMILE ON YOUR FACE. IT MAKES GETTING IN SHAPE FUN. BUY THIS BAG... YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
- If you want to perfect your boxing skills and get a great workout at the same time, this is the heavy bag for you. You'll be sweating like a sweathog after only about 20 minutes of punching and kicking. Excellent for a person who lacks a lot of time. Be sure to follow instructions and wrap your hands with handwrap first before putting on the gloves. In the long run, doing this will save your hands. Never hit the bag without hand protection.
The price is great and you can't beat free shipping. It would have cost me an extra arm and a leg for shipping 100 pounds to Hawaii. And believe it or not, I received the bag in one week. You can't go wrong with this one! This is a quality item. Get one now before they decide to charge for shipping!
- I bought this punching bag to release some pain and anxiety from my past and caused by my future, this has helped me do just that. Though life is hard it is worth breathing. I am soo glad God led my steps to this punching bag and most importantly to him. Though in a hundred years having this punching bag wont matter, I'm so glad I have him and he has me. God bless who ever reads this. Amen

- Everlast has been around since 1910. They are a brand you can trust and the bags are very durable. If you want to get started in boxing or just purchase a bag for exercising this bag is the ideal purchase. Buy Everlast!! they make good boxing equipment, classic stuff.
- This thing is great, be sure to get some heavy bag training gloves with it. I'm able to punch as hard as I possibly can without killing my hands so it does its job :) Although kicking is another story, its much harder towards the bottom and my foot regrets that haha
- I bought this bag for my daughter (age 9) and I. It's great because we get a great workout while having fun. We both love it and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
- The punching bag arrived very promptly, and was in good condition. The cardboard box was a bit beat up, but that's to be expected for such a heavy package. The bag is great for helping with stress, and seems to hold up well. Overall, this was a good buy.
- This is a good practice bag. The quality is fine, it seems to be evenly packed, and the fit'n'finish is acceptable.
Unfortunately, Amazon's price is a bit steep. They claim to offer "free" shipping, but the shipping costs are obviously hidden in the price. You can get this same bag, along with padded bag gloves, hand wraps, and Everlast's mounting kit, for less $$$ at Walm@rt. Plus, you won't have to wait a week or more for FedEx to deliver it.
In recent years, Everlast products have earned a reputation for shoddy quality. If you check my other reviews, you'll see where I gave another Everlast product a bad review. However, this bag is top quality. The only thing that could make it better is if it was made from leather, but that's not a problem, unless you want to kick it while wearing shoes.
Summary: good quality, bad price.

- We bought this for my 7yr old son, and in 2 days he had totally destroyed it. Thank goodness we had it on a tile floor. He kicked the bottom and it broke letting out all the water! What a mess. Not worth the money.
- My 8 yr old loves it! Have had no problems with it (except it does take quite awhile to fill w/ the little manual pump)!
- This bag is much better than the normal bop bags as far as rebound action. The old style falls all the down to the ground an then SLOWLY comes back to standing position. This one much more like a real bag snapping back and not hitting the ground unless you hit it to hard of coarse. My kid's are 4 and 5 years and only use the bag SUPERVISED being taught PROPER punching/elbow/knee and kicking strikes!I would never leave this bag alone with them to thrash on , it would break real quick and with a h20 base ,not good.GREAT FOR YOUNG KIDS TO LEARN ON....(NOT BEAT ON) the key is always, learn to strike GOOD then worry about how hard...
- Excellent training punching bag for aerobic session. Do not expect hard punching out of it as it will burst. If you keep it low impact, is a great aerobic excercise!
- Upon inflating bag it started loosing air in about two to three hours. Put in a can of compressed sealant and have no problems at this time.

- I bought this product for my 15 year-old grandson. It arrived with a manufacturing defect to the hook latching it to the base. Within a matter of several days, a whole new system was received and has been getting "the beating" ever since. Both my grandson and his Dad are using it and it's very sturdy. I couldn't be more pleased with the service, the product and the use it's getting.
- If you can punch hard at all this isnt for you. I punched mine three times and the neck snapped from the force. Im not a professional boxer or anything so this is unacceptable.
I tried filling with water but it moves around a lot. Sand is much better. You should also put this on a carpet or a mat to reduce sliding. If this all goes well, you will have to watch out for the neck snapping, in which you will then have to empty all the sand out and return it. Terrible.
- I just got this today and was very disappointed. One of the bolt threads was missing so water kept coming out. It was also ridiculously hard to put together. After an hour or so of struggling I got it together just to find out it was very wobbly and didn't have enough weight to stand still. The bag also fit very loosely on the stand. After hitting it maybe 50 times the thing literally broke in half. I'm 6'5" 235lbs. and I hit really hard, but still, it shouldn't break no matter how hard you hit it. Not recommended at all...
- Just purchased one of these bags, and thought it would be ready for use in no time. I was SO wrong.
First, I filled the base with sand. It tells you to use water but I thought sand would work better. No problems there.
Second, I screwed on the sealing ring. Not a problem at all.
Then came the flex neck. It was such a chore screwing it on, and it took at least 30-45 minutes. The directions made it out to be so easy...
Then I had to screw the connecting pole onto the flex neck. It was way harder than it should have been, and I know some people will have trouble with this.
Assembling the heavy bag:
Holy crap! Hardest part of the assembly. Again, I hate how the directions make it out to be so easy, but it's just really not. I wont go into detail, I'm just going to tell you all that it's the hardest part of assembly. Good luck, I guess.
My bag looks all deformed and unproportional (I guess I can fix it), but it's still a great bag and I will definitely enjoy using it once I fix the bag.
- This brand new "punching bag" broke on the fourth punch. I am not a professional boxer. Do not buy this.

- this is a must have for anyone interested in boxing or boxing fitness. Everlast is the most trusted brand in boxing history. established in 1910 they are a quality company that specializes in boxing equipment. take it from an owner of an everlast heavy bag they are great and very durable and can withstand lots of punishment. great for any teen, young male or old tymer tryin to get his groove back.
- I've done some amateur boxing way back in my late teens and early twenties. I have punched a lot of bags in those years, I'll say that this product is of excellent quality and will last longer now that I'm a bit older and don't have that pack of punch anymore.
- I've returned two of these bags. Both came in boxes that were previously opened (the original Everlast tape was cut open and retaped with clear packing tape.) The bags were not packed consistantly. Most importantly, what feels like sandbags were placed randomly just under the Nevatear cover. Great cover! However, a few hard punches into packed rags and then a sudden hard shot into sand is unsafe. I'm sure they make a good product, but I'm having a hard time getting one. Gotta move on.
- I bought this heavy bag and gloves for the whole family (even the 4 year-old) and we have loved it.
It is easy to get carried away with hitting it and you have to be very careful to maintain proper form (learn that first) so you can stay healthy and injury-free.
This bag is great quality at a great price. It will take your abuse as long as you take care to protect yourself. It's far more likely to hurt you than you are it. Don't hit it without gloves because it's going to injure you if you do.
Hitting this bag is a quick way to burn off a lot of stress and energy. It will surely outlast you in every workout no matter how much endurance you have.
- This bag has been very durable. I don't use it every day. Just on days between going to the gym. It gets use 2-3 days per week. The only problem I had was that it was pretty hard in a few areas. I went to a sporting goods store and they had one hanging up and it was much softer. The guy told me (off the record) that they had went against manufacturer's recommendations and unzipped the top and removed some of the filler. I did the same at home with mine and then rolled it around the floor to more evenly distribute the filler and it is much better now.

- Wore out one of the cheapo bags in about three months. This one has gotten heavy use for six months and is still like new. Holds proper psi for months at a time. Shape is perfect, well balanced, seams are easy on the hands.
- I felt the need for speed! This bag is an excellent general purpose bag for the whole family or group. The size, feel, and response is right in the middle of the "zone". Great for beginners and fast enough for the pro. Make sure you grab the pro swivel for proper bag movement. I've been using much more frequently than my old bag because the experience is sooo much better. Enjoy!
- This was a gift for my son and he really liked it. It seemed very well made and of good quality.
- it even came in a bag...i was most impressed. Enough said ....I love products from everlast...they have never disappointed.

- The product itself was awesome and my son loves it!!! It is just what I hoped it would be like. The box it came in had me worried at first because it was very flimsy and tearing in certain places. It made it difficult to carry from our porch to my room where I was hiding the kids C-mas gifts.
- I was very pleased with this purchase, it was shipped VERY quickly, all the equipment was in the box, easy to use, and a greta releaver for stress....
PURCHASE FORM THIS OWNER!!!
- It's a great, sturdy punching bag that never rips. But, the picture you see is either the 60,70,or 80 pound bag, the bag you get is about half the size of the one in the picture. Other than that it's perfect, I recommend gloves or bands to avoid burnned knuckles.
- It arrived on time and in good shape, I thought it would be too light being 40 lbs. but no its good and it will give you a good workout.

- does not stick at all fun to punch when i clamp it to my desk
- The product did not stick to the table, fell of the edge and broke. I will return the product to get something different.
- Plain and simple, the suction cup does not stay stuck to ANY surface. You punch it once and it sways once and falls off right off of what ever surface you tried to stick it on. Horrible product because you can not punch it more than once.
- I think it would be common sense for Everlast to test this product before releasing it. It is a cool novelty item I guess but if you give it a light punch or two it flips right over. It has absolutely no suction on it no matter the surface. So as you now see what everyone has been complaining about just don't even bother wasting your time on this unless you plan on gluing it to your desk.
- Wont stay put when you punch it. My two year old knocked it off my desk top. I was very disappointed. Dont waste your money. Wish that I could give it zero stars

- I replaced my heavy bag with this to free up space in my condo. It works great! Even filled with water, it is still easy to move. The feel isn't quite the same as a heavy bag, but this works even better for kicks. I am very pleased with the quality and the punching area is huge!
- Great product. Although it is still too light for kicking, this product is one of the best standing kicking bags in the market.
- I've had my freestanding bag for about 3 or 4 weeks now and I absolutely love it! You can punch, kick, and elbow this thing until you're out of breath. I put 250lbs of sand in the base and it is very sturdy (cheap too - sand is only about $4 per 50lb bag @ Lowes where I live). There is some minimal shifting if you stand in the same spot and pound away on it, but if you dance around the bag a bit and use some footwork - any movement cancels itself out from side to side (using this movement gives you a lot better workout anyways). I weigh just over 200lbs myself and I can lay into my punches and kicks with all my weight and power and it still holds strong. Delivery was quick and the packaging was appropriate. I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone - especially for use with martial arts and kickboxing training.
- I began kickboxing class and wanted to be able to continue with the lesson at home, so I took a chance and purchased this sparring bag. I checked the internet and found this to be the best price for the same exact item, and no charge for shipping and handling. It arrived promptly and I was not disappointed. It is the same exact bags that we use at the karate center. The quality was excellent and set up was quick and easy. I did it by myself and did not need assistance from my sons or husband. It is a great bag and I love it. My husband has even began using it on his own.
- My daughter took Krav Maga (Israeli army-style hand-to-hand) and needed a punching bag to keep in shape and maintain training. It had to be indestructible for her (she is fierce & merciless), but I didn't want anything that had to be mounted to the ceiling or walls. The Century XXL Wavemaster is perfect. Her older sisters (one has taken Judo and the other is just plain mean), football friends, cousins - everybody likes giving it their best shot. It stays in place and takes a lot of punishment. Great product!

- I like the size of this bag. It's big enough for myself and husband both to use at same time yet small enough it doesn't take up large storage space.
Easy to put together. Bag and stand seem sturdy.
- I have owned this item for about 5 years and it is still going strong. I use it for about 20-45 mins/ day about 4-5 times per week.
Bare knuckle or with gloves. I primarily do boxing workouts but it has seen its fair share of kicks, knees and elbows and never seen a tear or a worn spot.
The padding is about 4" thick and beneath is a solid plastic ring that alows you to adjust the height. This is also what keeps it from getting worn spots like a regular punching bag.
I used to work out at a friends house who had a 40lb everlast hanging bag and after a few months we tore it and had to hold it together with duct tape, which made us all sticky after every workout.
You can fill the base with water or sand, i have never filled it up all the way, but its pretty stable. If you cant use a hose and have it inside i made a funnel by cutting the bottom off of a 2 liter coke bottle and running back and forth to the bath tub with milk jugs.
Great product for anyone not wanting to drill holes in their ceiling to hang a regular punching bag.
- This bag seems fairly sturdy, but it does slide around when filled with water (on carpet in my case). I just hit it from one side of my room to the other and eventually back into it's corner. I bought mine in person for $100 (and no shipping), so you might want to look into that before buying online.
- I have used many of these over the years. Usually the powerline series, so I was a little worried this wouldn't be substantial enough. However, the base is very sturdy with water in it. This product will work very well for home use.
