2. When it first arrived I was sure it would be to small but it was a perfect fit. Good looking and inexpensive it was exactly what I was looking for.



3. Horrible service, didn't get what i ordered, the order said I would receive a mouth guard case and the picture clarified that. Instead, I got a mouth guard in the mail and I told the company I wanted the mouth guard case. So naturally they send me ANOTHER MOUTH GUARD.

1. do you know teeth are very important, what would happen if they got knocked out......well i for one don't want to find out so i bought this little mouthpiece, and i must say it doing it's job quite well!!!



2. What more is there to say? I molded this baby to my mouth for a custom fit, and have used it on numerous occasions for boxing. I've been punched in the mouth a few times, and I still have my teeth, so I'd have to say that this works!



3. I have pretty big lips and this is my first double mouthpiece.
   
   It protected everything fine but my lips. After a sparing session in which I was punched directly in the face my lips were cut up and swollen from the inside due to it being pinched and pushed through the breathing hole. I don't know if I molded it wrong or double mouthpieces aren't my thing. I think I'm going to stick with a single for now.



4. Not exactly sure why there are so many good reviews about this mouth guard. For one, like one of the only previous bad reviews stated, it doesn't shape itself at all. This wasn't that big of a problem for me since it seemed to fit pretty well for what little amount it did form to fit my mouth. Anways, since I've never used a double mouth guard before I wanted to get used to it, so I decided not only to train with it on the mat and the ring (MMA of course), I also decided to run with it. This would help for me to get used to breathing with it. After about three weeks of use, the bottom guard started to get really flimsy...and actually tore on the inside. I'll be sticking with single mouth guards from now on.



5. Bought these for my daughter for karate sparring ... she has an oral herbst appliance and palate expander. A little modification to where she bites down and they fit perfectly while protecting her complete appliance.

1. I bought this product about 2 months ago and it has worked perfectly. Don't waste your time on the $2 mouth guards. At first I was hesitant because I was doing some serious boxing with my friends and I wasn't sure if a mouth guard that was only for the top of my mouth would do the job efficiently. I was so very wrong, as the mouth guard positioned my jaw upright perfectly. ***** 5 stars for sure

1. This mouthguard would be good for any sport where you where a helmet... But it is not good for boxing!!! It works good to stop concussions but beware if you get hit in the mouth your lip will split open, it has happened to me twice. So I decided to get the Shock Doctor double mouthguard which provides the same concussion resistence and also alows easy breathing.



2. I bought two Shockdoctor mouthguards, this one and a Power Gel Ultra. I bought them, not for fighting, but to prevent night time teeth grinding. This guard is wider than the Power Gel. It's easier on the jaw and a lot more comfortable to use. I don't have a wide mouth or a large bite, but the Power Gel in comparison left such little rooom - it forced my teeth to line-up in an unnatural position, and holding my teeth in that position for long periods took effort - it tired me out by always forcing me to clench my teeth in a certain way when using it. I threw it away. This one, however, at least for my uses, is great. It's easy to use, feels more attuned to the way my teeth naturally line up, and fairly comfortable. However, I have to agree with J Landis - it's a good guard for helmet sports, but the front of the guard sticks out so far that if you actually got punched or hit in the top lip it would probably split right open.
   
   If you are looking to an alternative to the $700+ recommended dental night time teeth grinding guards, this is a cheap alternative.



3. DO NOT BUY (if you are expecting lip/mouth impacts). I bought this mouth guard not realizing the black plastic in the picture is quite rigid. It gave me a fat lip almost immediately and I had to go out and buy a soft mouth guard before my next practice. Bad for any type of impact or contact sport like Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing etc.

1. This product works great. The only one on the market that I could find for my teenage son who wears braces. I tried some other brands that claimed to work but the channels weren't wide enough for his braces to fit down into. These worked perfectly and were a lot more cost effective than having an orthodonist make a custom fitted one. I recommend these for anyone who has a child wearing braces in a sport that requires a mouthguard.



2. This product was recieved in two days and has performed well for my son during the wrestling season. I would recommend this product for any sports minded child with breaces.

1. This is a mouth guard that is heat fit by boiling. The guard is large and takes some getting used to..and I don't mean the usual drool or saliva issues thats normal, I mean its feel in you mouth is large and will press you gumswhere the edge rolls in..(see the picture). that said once your used to the feel it does a good job and absorbs blows well My bite felt less rattled by hard hits and continued use has allowed the piece to feel better in my mouth. The unit is fit by boiling to soften and then biting down to mold to you mouth features. This took some effort and thankfully it can be refit by simply reheating it if your bite feels wrong. A good product but the boiling is touchy to get right so follow the instuctions to the letter , take your time, and bite down hard when fitting.
   
   So concluding one star lost for the fitting of the round edges...my gums haed this, and 1/2 star for the touchy boil fitting...but I would by again and I would recommend as a mouth guard.



2. I've been using this guard for months now for light-moderate boxing. The breathing channels are great, and clenching allows that natural bite feel. It also claims that it can prevent concussions, which something I hope I never experience, but nice to know I'm protected against it if I ever face that situation.
   
   However, Piranha customer service is what I'm most impressed with. I've had a problem when I misplaced the biting channel piece, but after contacting them, they have solved a problem by being very attentive and even sent a replacement piece. Now that's what I call customer service! While I have only bought one piece of equipment from them so far, I'll be more than happy to buy from them in the future.



3. i figured I'd buy this mouth guard because i spar with friends and planned on getting into boxing again.. read the reviews.. did some research.. this mouth guard seemed legit and quality. it shipped fairly quick so that was a plus.. but it was to bulky in my mouth and the directions on trimming it were a bit vague so i didnt mess with cutting it because it stated that it only needed cutting if your teeth were not in the channel. so i just followed boiling instructions(done this a few times in the past) than molded it to my mouth.. seemed like a better fit..but then i realized the sides were pushing into my cheeks.. re-boiled.. no more bulging sides but didnt seem like it was fitting correctly and the bottoms dug into my gums. don't think i can use this mouth guard :/ I'm dissapointed, spent over $15 and all the mouth guard did was make my jaw sore from clenching on it.



4. We recommend Piranha gear to all our friends involved in contact sports!
   This mouth guard is a great example of the great products they sell. The quality is good, and dh trimmed the ends, boiled it, bit down hard for a few minutes....and voila: a custom fitted mouth guard!



5. I bought this product because i am deployed to afghanistan and a few other soldiers and i started boxing and training in different things. This mouth guard lets you breath easily and fits perfectly in your mouth. The air up here in the mountains is thin and with this mouth guard u get more of a cardio workout when you have it in. It is a real good product and i am recommending others to buy it.
