- This mat is perfect for pilates. It is thick enough to give excellent stability and comfort. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good pilates mat. Well worth the money!
- Very thick mat -- godd for supporting the spine during Pilates, but probably too thick for yoga. Also a bit thick to carry back and forth to the gym, but if you want one for home use, it's great.
- I use this mat for pilates and it offers good support for lower back, really confortable. The only drawback is that I don't have a car and is too bulky to carry around, also I haven't been able to find a bag for the same reason, too big! other than that i really like it.
- I've never done mat work before (bought this with "Pilates for Weight Loss" video), and this is perfect for me! I love it. It is a very comfortable thickness for the exercises I do on my back and while sitting. It is also very forgiving; I have knee problems, but this mat is thick enough that there is even enough cushion when I do the stretches on my knees -- no pain!
When I was deciding which mat to buy, I thought that $35 was a little high (especially since I'm on a budget). I ultimately decided that the investment for a superior (and much thicker mat) was worth the extra money (and I also justified that it was cheaper than joining a gym!). I don't regret this purchase for a minute. Highly recommended!
The ONLY downside is that it's a little bulky to store, but that's to be expected, given the thickness. We live in a small apartment in NYC, so it fits (folded in half) behind our loveseat very easily. Other than re-rolling and putting it back in the box every time (ugh), I'm not sure where else I could keep it!
- I was very happy with the quality of the mat. It is such tough material, yet comfortable, I have no excuses now for not exercising. I have been considering buying another one, cutting it in half and making 2 slip covers to use for my dog's bed(s). I think it would last longer than many beds made just for dogs. She would love that!

- I recently got the new pad and safety net for our trampoline. I loved both products. They went on nicely. One can tell that they were thought out products to bring safety to the children using the tramp. I dont have to worry when they are in the yard alone with the zipper to enclose them and no worries of falling off or bumping against something. Thank you for your great design.
- I have purchased replacement pads for our trampoline in the past but this one is of much better quality and seems to be holding up well to our neighborhood boys and my 3 sons!

- This bag it awesome. It's great that it collapses down and I love the way it looks.
- This is a great yoga mat bag... it folds up to be quite compact and expands to fit a regular or premium yoga mat. It is light-weight and I love the mesh so the mat can breathe. I highly recommend this cute yoga mat bag!
- This bag works perfectly and it's SO much more affordable that those I've seen at the yoga studio I go to.
- I have the green paisley and it is a lovely bag that fits my mat to a tee.

- I like the width (a little extra width, compared to most mats). It is also a nice length. I am 5' 5" and I have plenty of room. I love the thickness, as it helps to cushion the knees and back side. The color is also pleasing. I have only had it a short time, so it is not quite sticky enough yet, when I am sweating, but I think it will be soon, and it still does the job. I let it air out a couple of days after reading other reviews, and it did the job for my mat. I would definitely buy it again.
- I've been practicing yoga for almost a year now. Before this one, I had a cheapo mat that I bought at Wal-mart. It just wasn't sticky enough for me. So, after a little research - I'm not ready to throw down $89 for one of those fancy real rubber mats - I decided on the Hugger Mugger. So far, I like it a lot. It didn't smell bad out of the box, it's light, thick enough to support you (although I do need to use a towel under my knees in some postures), and it's a lot stickier than my last mat. I will say that I do still slide on it, usually towards the end when we're good and warm, but I am waiting to see if that is just because it is new. I've probably used it about a dozen times already and although it hasn't improved much (stickiness-wise), I haven't had a chance to give it a good cleaning with soap and water either. Usually I just throw a towel down under my hands when I start sliding. Bottom line, it feels good - not too hard, not too soft, it looks great, doesn't smell, but my hands do slide a bit in downward dog. I would recommend this mat overall.
- I really like the colors of this mat as well as the thickness!! It is such a nice treat to do yoga with a mat as nice as this. It's also easy to find in a classroom full of single color mats. It did have a relatively strong odor when it first arrived, but I just opened it up near an open window in a spare bedroom and the smell was gone pretty quickly (within 3 days.) The beauty of the mat is worth the slight inconvenience of an initial odor.
- I like using this yoga mat; it's a pretty color and design, has a firm, somewhat sticky surface that is excellent for standing poses and also is thick enough to cushion knees and elbows. I find the standard length and width o.k. for my practice, but some might want to purchase one of the larger ones offered.
I think the material should stand up better than some of the softer mats I've used. It's one of the less expensive mats on this site, but is listed for more on the manufacturer's site. Overall, I think this is an excellent, reasonably priced mat for both beginners and more advanced yoga students.
- I have really enjoyed using this mat for my yoga workouts. Its very thick yet isn't uncomfortable. Seems to be good quality.

- This a great mat-- very comfortable. The thickness is perfect for me. I rinse it down and let it air out for a few days before I used it to get rid of the rubber smell. After that, it was fine.
- I have been using this mat for about 9 months, practicing yoga 2-4 times per week. It is a beautiful mat, and a "sticky"-type mat. It is lighweight and fits in a standard yoga mat bag.
While I like the mat, it did take some getting used to.
For one, it does have a bit of a smell when first removed from the plastic packaging. I can't really describe it, but it was not an unpleasant smell, just kind of...hmmm...not really rubbery smelling, not latex, but some type of synthetic smell. It does go away after a while.
For another, it was extrememly slippery at first. I had to wash it well with water in the tub and dry it in the sun to remove the slippery coating that came on it. It is now not slippery as it was, but once the class heats up, if I am sweating a bit on hands and feet, I definitely slip on it, particularly my hands doing down dog. This slipperiness is pretty standard on these sticky-type mats, so this is not a particular defect of the mat itself, just the nature of this type of material.
If you practice any kind of hot yoga, this would probably not be a good choice for you, unless you use one of those skidless blankets with it.
If you do hatha yoga and don't sweat a whole lot, then I really recommend the mat for its wonderful softness and beautiful look.
- I really like this yoga mat. It is very thick and lays flat on the ground without rolling up at the ends like some mats do. I have long legs and this mat gives me plenty of room to stretch out.
- Yes, it did come out of the box smelling a little funny...sort of a new car/shoe smell. It quickly faded though, so it wasn't a problem. Besides, it's basically a giant sheet of rubbery plastic, so I was expecting it to smell a bit chemical-ish at first, lol.
This mat is so thick, and so gorgeous! It provides the perfect amount of cushion, and keeps me from sliding around.
If you practice Hatha yoga, your toes will thank you!
(If you're more into Bikram, check out the nonslip towels.)
- I was a little hesitant to purchase this mat because of the bad smell reviews; I am sensitive to smells. However, mine smelled fine right out of the box. It is a lovely blue/white color, exactly as pictured, which is soothing during practice. I haven't found that sweating on it makes it too slippery. It's very thick and comfy.

2 comments about SKLZ Rick Smith Launch Pad - All Purpose Hitting Mat.
- I purchased the Launch Pad last week and the first time I took it out to use it the grass, from the impact of the club, alread began to seperate. The grass mats are only very lightly gluded to the rubber mat and should have been threaded into the mat to make it more durable. I did like the two levels of turf to hit from but the mat is poorly made.
- this item literly fell apart after less than 1 week
also they sent 2 and charged me shipping to send the second back or be charged for two

5 comments about Yogitoes Skidless Premium Hand-Size Towel.
- This item has been a wonderful purchase for me! During hot yoga sessions, my hands always get slippery, but this towel prevents me from slipping. During down dog, I am now sturdy and not slipping all over the place! I would recommend to spray it with water at the beggining of a class because when it's dry, it doesn't work as well.
- During more vigorous sessions my hands would get wet and become slippery. This became a problem when I couldn't stay in down-dog without sliding off the top of my mat. After I starting using this product, I no longer had that problem. I still occasionally will slid a bit but it has reduced this problem 90-95%.
- It does help to avoid slipping a little, but not 100%. The texture of the side that goes upwards could be thicker to help resistance.
- the towel doesn't slip on the mat but my hands still slip on on the towel. I was looking for something that would help my hands to not slip on my yoga mat.
- I love this towel so much! It helps with sliding and the colors are great!

- I just recieved this and love it. Yoga mats are too thin and hurt my back. But the mats that are too thick work against the moves in my opinion. This one is perfect, especially when balancing in a V. Forgot name of move. :) Definatly recommend.
- I spent awhile looking for a mat because so many of them seem to be horrid. I'm very pleased that I chose this one. I've been using it for a couple of months and have no complains except I'm not sure how to clean it (there were no instructions on the packaging). It is very comfortable for moves that require rolling and does not slip. The attached straps are very handy and I have no trouble carting it around to class and back. The only difference I noticed is that the color (I purchased the blue one) is much darker than it appears online.
- This mat works great for yoga/pilates due to its thickness and length, which caters to the big and tall. It is also very easy to store due to the velcro straps.
- Isn't as firm as I had hoped based on the description. On a hardwood floor though, works great. Very easy to use and store.
- I have hardwood floors and this mat is so thick, you feel like you are on carpet - well worth the money!!
