   I just needed the yoga mat, and I received a very nice pink yoga mat, with a beautiful design with small flowers. Plus, one DVD with yoga instructions that was helpfull and easy to dial.
   And finally delivery time was faster than informed. I was very glad with this purchasing and sure recommend it!

1. Wouldn't it be great to live in a golf course community with free anytime access to the driving range? Bridieball, makes this possible to anyone with an average sized backyard. Comparing Birdieballs to other practice golfballs, whether of the plastic wiffleball variety or those made of foam with a solid core is like comparing a wood shaft to one of today's nanotech engineered graphite shafts. Birdieballs fly exactly like a golfball, only for a shorter distance. Not only that but they offer perfect golfball like feel at impact. Close your eyes and you will think you are hitting a performance golfball. You can feel the difference between off-center and sweet spot hits. In addition, the ball offers enough resistance to mark impact tape, so you can farther optimize your practice time. It is hard to appreciate the feedback provided by the sound of a Birdieball in flight until you try it. The manufacture describes it as a turbine in reverse, unfortunately, I have never heard a turbine in reverse. I would describe the sounds as barrummmmm, a very satisfying low pitch sound that registers in your sub-conscience. I realized this while playing a round after working with the Birdieballs for a while, every time I hit a good shot (and that happened much more after using the Birdieballs) I noticed that in the back of my mind I was hearing that low pitched barrummmm.
   
   Practice makes perfect as the old saying goes. Birdieballs make it possible to hit a couple before work. Hit a couple after work and before dinner, and hit a couple in the evening before the sun goes down. I have used many practice aids, clubs and read books in the quest for the perfect swing. Nothing and I mean nothing has improved my game more, while being fun and easy to use. I am not in anyway connected to the folks at Birdieball and would be happy to talk to anyone considering buying this product (...) to verify this. This is one golf product that has really blown my socks off.

1. Its got a good grip on the floor...I got it for my Mom who does yoga everyday and she absolutely Loves it...



2. It stays put on the carpet and it doesn't roll up under pressure. I use in with machine that roll and stretching exercises. It is light weight, rolls up tight which makes it easy to take when traveling. Long enough to lay out on, great for crunches. I don't like it on unlevel tile floors, not enough thickness. But, for carrying to a gym for yoga, hey it works great.



3. This mat is very good for floor exercises. I have wooden floors; looking for a mat that would stay in place and not move around. It fills the bill - I only wish it had a little more padding for stomach crunches and sit ups.

1. The Drishti Yoga Strap is just great! I've tried a lot of straps in my time practicing yoga. (Several different studios, borrowed friends', etc.) This one is excellent. It's 2 feet longer than standards straps, but it's offered at the same price as standard straps - what a deal! It's also thick and sturdy. I would certainly recommend this product.

1. then this is for you. I can't stay in downward dog without my hands and feet slipping from under me. The mats at my gym don't do this. I'm going to have to buy one of those. This Gaiam mat is well-cushioned so if you want to just sit or lay down on it, then it probably is sufficient for you.



2. I bought htis mat thinking it would be great, it is a well known name brand of quality yoga products. Well, my first class using this mat was horrible. It is the most slippery mat you could ever imagine. Downward dog is the most challenging with this mat because your hands slip forward at record speeds! I had to adjust my hands so much that I eventually used one of the gym's mats over this one. You can get a great work out with this mat becasue of the amount of time you spend adjusting yourself. For the price you would think it would be a nice mat. I ended up buying a WONDERFUL mat by Nike for $19, its made with antislip material and comes in great colors! I recommend the Nike mat or any other mat than this one!



3. Don't know if maybe I got a better quality mat than the other reviewers, but I have no problems with this mat. I don't slip during downward dog and I wear SOCKS during my yoga, I also happen to use it for my Pilates workouts. It's very well cushioned, pops back to shape no matter how hard I press into it and, as mentioned earlier, it's fantastic with grip. I've no choice but to give this mat 5 stars, I'd give more if I could and will be buying another when this one wears out.



4. So, I wish I had read the reviews on this item before I bought my Gaiam Premium Yoga Mat. My first down dog on this mat nearly ended in a face plant. As it comes out of the wrapper, it is slippery indeed. Note, I was using the mat with the "big bump," logo side up and the small bumps toward the floor.
   
   After consulting with my teacher, I decided to give the mat one more chance but only after spraying both surfaces with Formula 409 and scrubbing thoroughly with a coarse Scotch Brite pad. That was enough to make the pad at least usable on a second try. Right now I plan to proceed with caution, but if I slip again this sucker is going back to the store.
   
   Using a yoga mat would seem to be a no brainer, but not so in this case. If Gaiam plans to continue selling this model they need to include some instructions about how to prepare and place the mat for safe use.



5. Great padding for your shins and knees etc. Wash it to remove the initial slippery coating and it will be a terrific mat.

1. I'm pretty new to the hiking thing, but so far, so good. The self-inflation feature doesn't seem as much as it's hyped for, but the pad's a breeze to inflate. I do slide off of it while on uneven ground, so in the future I'll look for something with a faster grip. It packs easily in an old stuff sack and rolls up quickly. I paid about $80. I am in no hurry to replace it.



2. This is not the cheapest (or most expensive) sleeping pad you can buy, or the thickest, but its very close to perfect for weekend warrior backpackers like myself. Very small, easy to get it to pack back close to the size of the package i bought it in. Owned mine for over a year and it is still in perfect shape. If you are someone who notices rocks and roots a bit more than a normal person, go with a thicker pad, or the ProLite 4

4. I just finished using this pad on a two-week backpacking trip. It worked fine for me the entire time. It packs small and it is reasonably light. It's pretty thin, so if you are looking for a pad for normal tent camping you may want to opt for a thicker pad. If you get this pad, I would recommend the Trekker chair to go with it. This lets you turn your pad into a camp chair and it works great.



5. I recently went on a couple of camping trips.... One using this pad and another on an air mattress.. Let me tell you, this pad was actually a lot more comfortable than my air mattress... It was just like sleeping on a bed at home.. Item rolls up into a compact sack that fits perfectly in my day pack. I highly recommend this product to anyone that is going camping. Definately worth the price.
