1. In my opinion its still not thick enough. I use it to do sit up's on, so I just fold it in half. I guess it would be fine for yoga, but doing sit ups on a ab roller type machine without it folded in once still hurts my lower back.



2. I really like this matt. It's cushy and wide. I may not know alot about yoga (since I am just learning) but I do know that it's more comfortable than anything else I've tried. Thanks



3. I really appreciate this extra wide mat. It has just the right "stickiness" to help me hold my yoga poses. It is not very thick, so don't buy it if you're looking for cushion.

1. The six foot by two foot excercise mat is perfect for situps.
   The two inch thickness is a comfortable amount of padding.
   The nylon material is comfortable on my skin.



2. My mat arrived and indeed, it doesn't smell vinyl-y like most of the mats out there. The vinyl ones are probably more sanitary for use by multiple people, but for one-person use, I appreciate not having the stinky off-gassing and being able to just put a towel over the mat if desired for keeping it cleaner. (The roll-up yoga mats are an option too, but this is nice because you can fold it up and lean it against a wall).
   
   A note: I wouldn't recommend this as a guest bed/mattress-- just as an exercise mat as advertised-- because the foam is too firm and sort of crunchy-feeling for that use.

1. Great cushioning for exercise, but very smelly!
   
   Pros:
   The pieces are very easy to lock together, like a puzzle, and I definitely could feel the benefit of using them on a bottom (cement covered by carpet) floor. Much better on the joints than exercising on a hard cement floor alone.
   
   Shipping was lightening fast!
   
   Versatility of making a custom size "floor" with 1 foot square pieces.
   
   Cons:
   The box came with no packing slip and no instructions. Instructions wouldn't be necessary to put them together, but it would be nice to know what these things are made of, and how to clean them.
   
   The BIG problem is the smell. These pieces are made out of some foam vinyl man made material, and they have a very strong chemical odor right out of the box. Even after taking them apart, putting them back in the box and putting the box in another room, I could still smell that awful odor in that room for hours afterwards.
   
   I'll wait a few days to see if the smell will subside, but if not, I'll have to send them back. If the smell goes away, I'll keep them.
   
   Note: Each piece is a 12 inch square, so if you're looking to cover an area just from workout to workout, you'll have to put your "floor" together and take it apart each time. That will get old fast.
   
   Also, it moved a little as I worked out (aerobics), but it didn't take up the whole floor, and it was over a short Berber carpet.
   
   If I could find a floor mat made of this material (sans the bad chemical smell) that folded or rolled up and was made specifically for stepping/walking on carpet or bare floor and was bigger than typical yoga mats, I'd be good to go!

1. Love the mat..hate the smell. I had to leave it open for days in the back of my car with the windows down..I sprayed it with some strong spray fragrance from bath and body works and its still a little stinky. So if you buy this mat and want to use it right away, get some mat cleaner or have some good smelling body spray to douse the thing with so you don't get weird looks in the studio. I still think its was worth buying since they plant a tree for every mat sold. To me, thats worth the stench.



2. This mat reeks for like a week. However, it's really a good mat! It's thick but not overly cushy and the rubber provides a super sticky surface for standing poses and down dogs. I think it was completely worth the money, and it will give me a lot of use before it wears out.



3. I am a beginner at yoga and just got this as my first mat. I love it--it's comfortable and sticky enough so I don't slip. The only complaint I have is that it might be TOO sticky, but I think this might wear off a bit over time. The rubber smell isn't overly strong to the point where it bothers me.
   
   It's eco-friendly, and it's more comfortable on my spine than other mats I've tried. I recommend it.
