  1. This golf mat has excellent quality and also reasonable price, comparing with a small/very weak chipping mat ($20). If somebody need this size as golf practice mat, I recommend this.

5 comments about GoFit Exercise Ball (65 cm).
  1. This ball tends to leak a little air, however it comes with a pump and after refilling it is fine again. Overall it is worth the price.

  2. No problems to report. I got this for my husband use who is 5'10", and about 180 lbs. He hasn't had any issues with it so far. Haven't measured it to see how large it inflated to, but it seems to be fine.

  3. I bought this to stretch my back out. Works just fine.

  4. Though advertised as 65cm, once fully inflated I measured it as 71cm. This isn't a problem unless you are in between sizes like I am (I have a relatively short 31" inseam for my 5'9" height). I probably should have opted for the 55cm.

Otherwise, this is a decent ball. It holds air adequately; I only have to top-off with air once every few weeks. I also like the neutral, pearl color which is much better than the super-bright colors of other balls out there.

  5. This is my 2nd exercise ball and I love it! It's very durable. My 14-year old nephew bounced on it all day and it survived! What more do I need to say?

4 comments about Needak Mini-trampoline Exercise Rebounder (Non-fold, Blue).
  1. I had no idea that bouncing on a rebounder had so many health benefits. Every cell in your body gets a workout--especially your lymphatic system. Even NASA uses rebounding excercises to get astronauts back in shape after a space mission! The Needak rebounder came with a very informative book regarding the health benefits of rebounding. My young son has Sensory Integration Dysfunction and his occupational therapist suggested we get a GOOD rebounder for him to use. The Needak is wonderful! My son's proprioceptive sense gets a great workout and it is very easy on his joints. I cannot say enough about this Made in the USA rebounder.

  2. Okay, so I admit I bought this in my latest attempt to get back in shape without actually doing the work. I'm great with the research part of working out. Its the execution that seems to be an issue.

I can tell you it's not as easy as it looks.. but even as a novice I would HIGHLY recommend this brand which is sturdy, well made, and comes with more than enough informational material to get you started.

  3. This made in the USA Needak Rebounder is the real deal. Comes with a book and DVD. The DVD is fascinating! You will learn much by watching it closely. If you are out of shape like me take it easy at first. If you overdo the bouncing too soon your lymphatic system will dump too many toxins all at once into your system and you will feel bad the next day.
This is absolutely the best way to exercise!

  4. The product is very durable. At first, I couldn't decide if I should buy folding or non-folding and finally bought the non-folding model. I am glad that I went with non-folding, because I cannot see myself carrying this rebounder on trips since it is quite big. Nonetheless, I love it. I wish they included some sort of training/exercise CD rather than a book.

5 comments about FitBall Exercise Balls.
  1. So far, I'm very pleased with my 65cm Gymnic ball. Unlike a previous Gaiam ball, it blew up easily and also plugged easily. Nice touch that Gymnic provided a spare ball plug! The color is a nice, slightly metallic blue and the ball does NOT feel "slightly sticky" like Gaiam did. Which is a huge plus, as otherwise, in my house, it would end covered in cat hair. It should be easy to clean. Quality seems very good.

  2. This ball is great for all types of exercise-it holds its shape well and has a nice non-slip surface.

  3. I bought a 65cm Sport Soft Edition FitBall directly from BallDynamics to be used as a birthing ball during the delivery of our son. The hospital ended up having balls there so we didn't need to use ours for that purpose. However, after arriving, our son liked to be held while gently bouncing on the ball. This became a daily routine for us to help him fall asleep and has worked well for the last 3 months.

That is until the ball popped! It was used on in a carpeted room for bouncing with a baby. Nothing strenuous in any way, but one day I sat down on it and it just deflated. (I'm 6ft, 185lbs - no where near the 1,250 lbs capacity they claim on the ball.) There was a small tear on the side of it where it had burst and all the air rushed out. No hope for repair, especially since the tear spread once I picked the ball up to look at it.

I tried to return the ball to BallDynamics but their customer service agent told me that they only had a 30 day return policy. She informed me they *MIGHT* exchange it for me, but I would have to pay up front for a new one and they would refund my money for the first ball *IF* they got it back and decided they wanted to. She had a tone in her voice that I was NOT getting a refund for the first ball, so I declined.

I explained to her that I paid more to get the ball from them because of their claims for "Burst Resistant Quality" and that I could get a cheaper ball at the local fitness store or off Amazon, but that didn't change her stance any.

I'll find another brand and use that from now on. BallDynamics won't be getting any more of my money.

  4. I thought I would receive a Gymnic ball but another product was sent. I am very familiar with Gymnic and was disappointed with the less durable product received. It does not hold its shape like Gymnic; flattens while in use. I really miss the stability found in the Gymnic brand. CAUTION: The photo is not the product you receive.

  5. I bought a 65 cm ball and a 75 cm ball. The 65 cm lost its sick sweet industrial plastic smell very quickly. The 75 cm ball gives no evidence of ever losing its smell, even though I left it outside in the sun and weather for a while. I guess it will be an outside play ball for the kids, as long as it lasts.

If you don't mind one more chemical odor in your life, then read the other reviews and decide.

3 comments about Harmony Natural Rubber Yoga Mat by Jade Yoga (PVC-Free!).
  1. This mat is wearing out really fast in spots wear it gets consistent pressure/dragging. also, you really really have to wash your hands at least 3 times after using the mat, otherwise you will get a bitter rubber taste if you try to eat or cook anything. and the mat smells strongly of rubber (which doesn't bother me--its a natural smell--but might bother some). also it's a little heavy.
having said that, i will add that this is the first mat i have used that does NOT slip even when sweaty! which is great. and it provides a much more solid and supportive cushioning than standard yoga mats, and generally feels good to practice on. hence the 4 stars.

  2. These mats are much more "sticky" than the average mat even when I am sweating from a hot practice. They are also thicker and can be purchased in a longer version (good for tall people and angle or lunge poses). Some people are bothered by the rubber smell - I hung mine over a rod for a week and it seems fine. The sustainability was important to me too - a natural product helps me feel more connected to the world than a petroleum product. I recommend these to my students and to you too!

  3. I've used it a handful of times and it is just the right thickness and isn't slippery at all :) I don't notice the rubber smell and love that it's a little more earth-friendly than other options.

5 comments about Hugger Mugger Mandara Yoga Mat (72-Inch, Black).
  1. This is a big improvement over previous mats I've used. It's a little slick when wet, but is improving and is not an issue for me.

  2. My first mat was a Wai Lana mat - and after 3 months of my "power yoga" classes it showed it wasn't quite up for the challenge. I don't regret investing my 12.99 in my first mat - it was a good way to "test" out yoga to see if I liked it and could actually do it. Once it started leaving confetti on the floor and my body during yoga I knew I needed something tougher.

I love my Hugger Mugger Mandara mat - my only complaint is the chemical smell it comes with. I know it is hard to get a mat without some sort of funky smell so I expected it and gave it a quick scrubbing the day it arrived.
So far the mat has stood up against my yoga classes and hasn't caused me to slip yet! I haven't had the mat that long - and if problems arise, I will try to post an update but so far it's done what it promised

I would recommend this mat to anyone who wants to invest the money in a heavy duty yoga mat. I like that it is 1/4 inch thick - helps when you are doing a 10-minute frog pose!

  3. The mat worked well enough, it was fairly comfortable but it smelled like industrial rubber.
I aired it out, washed it as per instructions and after two weeks the odor was still very annoying.
When you are doing Yoga there is a lot of time spent with your face close to the mat and, for me at least, the smell or rubber / chemicals takes away from the experience.
    I sent it back.

  4. This is the best mat for your money. I have used my mat for over two years as an instructor and in my personal practice and absolutely love it. Still has many more asanas left in it. Thick for comfort on the joints, but not mushy. My 5'8" frame appreciates the extra length. The chemical smell does go away and the initial slipperiness will go away with a few uses and wipe downs. Hang in there. You'll be so glad you did.

  5. ive been doing yoga for quite some time now and ive tried SEVERAL different mats. the problem with most mats is that when you get one that is squishy enough to be comfy for doing floor work they inevitably stretch in down dog and get all bent out of shape. the mandara is an awesome feet of yoga engineering! there is very little to no movement at all in the shape of the mat so theres no stretching if your in a narrow downward facing dog. another problem ive found is that if you do ashtanga or bikram yoga theres an issue with sweat, most sticky mats if they even think about getting wet, you simply slide right off your mat. not only is the mandera not slippery when wet, as you grip the surface with your hands or feet or both at the same time, the mandara grips you back instead of just being sticky. the spongy texture is comfy and supportive enough for floor work as well as being firm and stable enough for even the hardest balance poses. i cant say enough about my new favorite mat! thanks guys!

p.s. the only minor snafu is that it kinda smells like a pool floaty when ya get it but the smell does go away ;o)

    peace and light
    Karson
