1. This was a gift for my wife. She says it doesn't smell bad the way some new yoga mats do, and it's a nice color. On the other hand it's a little heavy and it's very static clingy.



2. This mat is great! It is a bit heavy, but that is what keeps it in place. I use it for bikram yoga and it is perfect.

4. I have tried many of the "name" brand yoga mats (including Manduka). They all have their weaknesses. And everyone has their own body, yoga style, and preferences. That said, this mat comes closest to meeting all my needs. I particularly like the extra length. It's not enough to get in the way in the yoga studio, but it is enough keep me from stepping off on those wide stances. And I am considered average height for a man. I have bony knees and I would have preferred a little more cushioning, but the thicker version of this mat (which I also own) I find to have too much give for balancing poses.
   
   At the studio, they have some Jades that are over a year old, and they have a great grip. There must be some factory coating on this, because it does get a little slippery at times...but nowhere near as much as the other mat's I've tried. I just purchased this mat as I started Yoga Teacher Training to be my main mat and I am very satisfied.
   
   Generally, this mat is pricey, but an Amazon seller had a great price and it arrived really fast.



5. I just received my Jade Harmony yoga mat. I ordered mine in purple. The purple is not obnoxious at all...very calming to look at. The best thing about this mat is the traction you get. When doing side plank, I don't budge at all. I would definately recommend this and it is well worth the money!

1. Mat is great. No chemical smell and no coating to wash off. Color advertised doesn't exactly match what I received, but it's OK.



2. They said that this mat weighs 4 lbs but the shipping weight is 3.5. How is that possible?



3. I really like this mat - it's a little thicker than I am used to, but that is fine. It is nice and long, and just sticky enough. The only problem I have with it in any way is the color. TAN it is not! It is the most horrid pale peachy flesh color - it is almost embarrasing. I feel like I should put some tanning lotion on it!



4. Very pleased with this mat, i bought it for a gift and it is good quality and was a great price.

1. There is a huge difference from this mat and the standard yoga mat. Love how thick it is. Would reccommend to anyone who does yoga on a consistant basis.



2. My mother is the hardest person to buy presents for. However, she started to take yoga classes last year and really likes it! So, when Christmas came around I knew exactly what she would like- a yoga mat. I looked on Amazon and this mat seemed to have the best of everything- it's thick, long, and had great reviews. When I gave it to my mom, she was so excited. Her mood after yoga class was completely different however. She told me that she had the worst experience with this yoga mat. She couldn't hold her positions because she was slipping and sliding all over the place. We contacted the company to see why this was and they simply told us that the mat needed 6 months to be "broken in". In my opinion, you shouldn't have to put up with slipping and sliding for on a mat even if it is a new one. This was a definite disappointment!



3. This is a great mat, I really recommend it, but if you are from the ones that sweat too much, it's slippery with a lot of sweat! Still I love it because I mostly bought it because of the cushion. :)



4. Lovely, high quality mat. Manduka provides great customer service, and the mat has a guarantee no matter where you buy it. Manduka mats have the longest break-in time of any mat I've owned, but they are sooooo worth it!



5. I wish I listened to recommendations I had been given and bought this mat prior to trying two other brands. I am using the mat for a cardio/plyometric workouts as well as for yoga. My knees need a little TLC and they are so much happier since I have been using this mat. I think this is a great option for at home, but it's a little heavy to be carting to classes on public transportation.

1. Others have pretty much said it all. The mat doesn't have that horrible new yoga mat smell. It has good cushioning that even supports my knees when holding positions for a few minutes at a time in my Yin class. The focal point has really helped my balanced on certain poses. The company is incredibly responsive to concerns - I received great feedback about how to break in the mat. Don't hesitate to give this product a try. From my experience, the seller will stand by their product 100%.



2. I was really unhappy with another mat and decided on this one because of the great reviews and great price. I am very pleased with it. It had great tips on how to break it in and care for the mat. I also really like the extra long length and the extra thickness that you just don't see in the standard yoga mat.



3. This is one thick, luxurious mat! I love the focal point icon, but I've been using my mat upside down for my Iyengar practice, since I seem to slip less on the thinner side of the mat. Maybe once it breaks in, I'll be able to flip it back over. What struck me at first was the complete lack of nauseating odor most yoga mats are notorious for, which made it great for practice straight out of the box.

4. Mr. Ingui, thank you so much! Over the years, I have wasted my hard-earned dollars on several yoga mats, only to be extremely disappointed in the quality and functionality of the yoga mat. A couple of months ago, I was bound and determined to sit down at my son's laptop and research the choices on the internet for the purchase of a mat. I came home from my yoga class that afternoon so incredibly frustrated with the mat that I purchased from a major retailer that I threw it in the trash! At this stage of the game in the purchase choices I made, I thought to myself, "what do I have to loose? If I'm not satisfied with the Aurorae mat, I can always return it. Now I must admit, I let my new Aurorae mat sit in the wrapper for another week before I finally "took the plunge" and opened it! I even kept the box by which it was delivered. I opened it, followed your instruction washing it with mild detergent using warm/warm wash cycle. Couldn't dry it in the sun because it was still winter weather here in Dallas. Dried it in the house, rolled it up, placed in my bag for my upcoming class, and off to class I went that week. As I particiapted in my class, I was on "Cloud 9" with the performance of my mat. Durability, flexibility, thickness......PERFECT! I've had minor knee surgery and I can manage every yoga pose perfectly on this mat. Even your color choices for the mats are heavenly! I've recommended the Aurorae mats to several students in my class. Thank you so much; I can never thank you enough. This mat is the "Rolls Royce" of yoga mats!! I just ordered the Aurorae accessories yesterday (towel & resin) and anxiously awaiting their arrival!

5. I bought this Mat to try out yoga on P90X and works great. I also use it for any other exercises that require the floor. It's very sturdy and the cushion is just right that it reduces high impact moves. I would recommend this to anyone.

1. I started exercising more at home (P90X), and needed a good mat to work out mat for our hardwood floors. The Valeo Yoga Kit does the trick with a pretty big mat and good cushioning. It's the same thickness as the other "generic" mats out there, but it comes complete with a strap, bag, and 2 yoga blocks (which you use in P90X).
   
   My only gripe is the ridiculous purple color (not very manly). But it does the trick. The only other thing is the initial slight chemical smell of the mat. Of course, it fades over time. I'd recommend airing it out when you receive it.



2. I was looking for a kit to start using when I started to doing yoga and other home workouts but was unsure if I would stick with it, so I did not want to spend too much money, so I selected this kit figuring that I would upgrade later if I felt like it or would not have wasted alot of money.
   
   I am still using this and working out and have found no need to change things. The kit is complete with a strap, mat and blocks which is perfect for doing yoga and has held up well to use.
   
   The bag is nice, but not great, though I do not use it often since I just roll the mat and put it aside when I am done in front of the television.



3. I was disappointed with the mat quality. I used it on a wooden floor in my living room and the mat seemed to slip a little and the thickness of the mat just wasnt there. I used the mat for diff purposes apart from Yoga (like Push ups) and one cant rest ones palms on the mat for long (especially once they are a little sweaty in the middle of the workout) as the mat doest provide a very good grip.
   
   Okayish for its price, I would recommend you put in $10-15 more and research for a better product.



4. I shopped around in the discount stores and found no deal that compares with this item and it's inclusions. I like a bargain and I worked for this one. It's the perfect selection for my yoga classes; it comes with a handled carrying case and is always ready to go!!!



5. I have a gym membership but since getting pregnant I quit the germy-gym and decided to pursue my yoga at home. This kit for under 25$ including the blocks and strap was a value for money. The mat is not super thick,but that works for me since I workout on a carpeted floor. The mat does not smell too rubbery as mentioned earlier. The blocks have a slight smell but i guess with use it will go away. Not offensive smell, something you can live with.
   I would recommend this anytime!

1. I got this mainly for doing the Ab-Ripper X from the P90X series and it works perfectly. I do use a beach towel over it as I just wanted the mat as a cushion for my back. The size is reasonable and works as intended. I have used this for more than 6 months and it is still in good condition.



2. I need a thicker foam mat for my Physique 57 workout videos, and it generally serves it's purpose. However, it doesn't lay out flat which can be a bit annoying.



3. This mat it well padded and is easy to roll up and strap together for transport/storage. When I first got it, it had a strong plastic/rubbery smell which I think is starting to go away after leaving it out and using it a few times.
   
   One thing to keep in mind...
   This is not what I would consider a yoga mat, it is made from rather thick foam - probably like 3/4". As a result, when it is rolled up, it creates a cylinder 2 ft long and about 7 inches in diameter. So if you want a mat for yoga classes or to take to the gym with you, this mat is probably a little to bulky to be transported easily.



4. I ordered two of these for use with the p90x system because there's a lot of ab work done on the floor that just isn't comfortable on hardwood. For 18 dollars each I couldn't ask for anything better. They are thick and cushy and don't slide around on my floor. I don't really do yoga, so not sure how they'd be for that.



5. I didn't expect the mat to be coming so soon, which is a major plus since I now could do my crunches on my floor on top of the mat. Since I'm considered a "bony" person, I couldn't do crunches on many surfaces(Tile, wood, carpet, etc) because it would hurt the tail of my spine. The padding on the mat is great and the cushion cushions he tail of my spine so I can do my crunches correctly and comfortably. It rolls up at the end but that's no problem, has straps so it can be packed up and moved easily making it quite convenient. The mat is quite huge and is perfect for any other type of exercises. People keep ranting on the smell but it only lasts for about a day or so until it goes away (well for mine it did). Overall 5/5 mat in my case.

1. For the price, this is an OK mat - comfortably thick and long. But as soon as my hands started to sweat a little, it lost it's grip. I think I have solved the problem by roughing the surface somewhat with medium-grade sandpaper (100 grit). Hope this helps someone else.



2. I got this as a gift for my friend who wanted to try yoga. She loves it and has no complaints.



3. Really glad I bought a 1/4" mat - I didn't notice any manufacture related smells and the color is as pictured. It's a great length. I did notice like some reviews stated, it does get slippery and when I was in the dd position I noticed it was hard to keep my grip on the mat. Otherwise it's a great product.



4. I presumed for the price that this would be thin and flimsy and last for a few months but it is very dense and I expect it to last for years



5. As advertised this is an extra thick yoga mat. Much thicker than the regular ones which helps my knees. The smell that others mentioned does go away after it airs out a bit. Love it.

1. I've had this towel for a few weeks. It stays in place on the yoga mat and is comfortable. I've washed it several times and it seems very durable. I'm very satisfied overall.



2. This is a great and much needed product for any hot yogi! I practice hot yoga, and am an avid fan of hot vinyasa/power yoga. I generally start out with my regular Manduka mat, and add the yogitoes mat towel once I can't grip the regular mat. On occasion, I start out with the yogitoes mat, and just sprinkle water where my feet are when in downward facing dog to help grip to the mat. A great product! I own the orange, lavender, and the water blue.



3. I have tried a couple of other products and as far as Bikram Yoga goes, this one is the best. This towel is very absorbes a ton and only moves a bit. Overall a good product.



4. I purchased this because I had issues with sweaty hands in Adho Muka Svanasana. It does prevent me from slipping, but I do prefer the feel of a yoga mat over the towel for my practice. Another problem is the fact that even with the silicone nubs on the back, the towel tend to shift around the mat, and needs to be readjusted several times during the practice. Overall, it was a good purchase.



5. Amazing... i have extremely sweaty hands and feet and therefore have never been able to hold a pose... until i purchased the skidless towel. It does take a bit of moisture to get the towel to work at it's best so either place your hands in the same place consistently or spritz down with a little water beforehand. The only reason i didn't give this 5 stars is that i still slipped a bit on inversions but not like i did before. I highly recommend this towel to anyone having trouble holding poses during their practice due to slippage.

1. I ordered the green one. Very light chemical odor which aired out mostly in a day and then totally when I started using it. It has good grip and is pretty comfy. Very cool and durable excercise mat.



2. i recieved my mat very promptly, and it did not have a chemical smell like some people complained of. the yellow is absolutely gorgeous, and it is perfect for when i practice my yoga!



3. I got this Mat for my fiance, who's been practicing Yoga for seven years, as a replacement for her old one. She uses it and hasn't complained. It's your standard mat, good quality, and services one's basic Yoga needs. I use a similar product.



4. Mat had some smell to it at first, but after an airing out for about a week it was gone for the most part. Ordered burgundy, looks more like a tone of purple though.



5. I do not find any offensive or chemical-like smell with this mat. It is very long and provides good padding. I am happy with my purchase.
