4 comments about Everlast Soft Flex Water Bag.
- Hats off to the folks at Everlast Boxing for producing an excellent foam and water filled heavy bag. I have had arthritis in my hands for the past 6 years and this heavy bag has not given me any problems with my hands or knuckles. Although I say this bag is "easier on the hands", I cannot emphasiize enough how important it is to wear hand protection when you are working out or training. Handwraps are designed to support and help protect the small bones in the hand from breaking. Bruises around the knuckles are normal & natural due to the amount of pressure placed on the knuckle area when punching the bag. For myself, I personally use the mexican style handwraps which provide excellent protection. If greater hand protection is preferred, I recommend the Everlast traditional training gloves because they provide greater wrist support and absorb shock a lot better than a cheap brand such as TKO. Although the instructional insert says not to fill the plastic bladder all the way up to the rim with water I did and have not had any had any water leakage at all. This bag can stand up to one hell of a tough beating and can take all of the punishment that somebody can dish out! The bag has a liner made of softflex foam which has excellent shock absorbtion and has natural give. Heavy bag swing is kept to a minimum because of natural give on the bag due to being filled with water. I highly recommend this bag for someone who has sensitivity in the hands and want a heavy bag that is more comfortable to use.
- Overall this is a decent product. The water filled bag is very easy on your hands and wrists, and simulates a human body(a fat human body) better than a normal bag. The water does absorb some of the impact of the punch lessening bag sway but a loop on the bottom would have been nice to allow chaining to the floor or your bag stand. The bag ships empty and disassembled. You'll receive the blue outer case, a large water bladder, and some black foam to surround the bladder. I had some problems with keeping the bags shape as there was significant sag at the bottom of the bag. They give you foam discs to reinforce the bottom of the case but adding something a little stiffer (like cardboard) may help to keep the bags proper shape. - When the bags compressed from the top and bottom it really fills out the blue case nicely. Otherwise it sags at the bottom and the elongated bladder doesn't fully fill out the case giving the bag an odd appearance and less then stellar performance. It will feel like you need to add more water. To combat this I just stuffed some old t-shirts in the case above the bladder to compress the bag down. This helped but reinforcing the bottom would have improved the sagging problem even more. It's not perfect but it's a good price, shipping is much less then a standard heavy bag, and it's is very easy on your hands and wrists.
- I chose this bag as replacement to a leaking Century water/air bag that I loved (4+ years old). The foam padding does not provide the needed stability around the water core causing the bag to bend on itself. The result is an inconsistent and awkward punching surface.
- Don't waste your time with this bag if you are serious about a workout and want something that will last. I have busted two of them inside of six months. The first lasted about four months. Everlast sent a replacement after I complained and it lasted two months before it sprang a leak in the side. Also, the bag will bulge in the side and at the bottom. Finally the top of the bag seems to collapse after some use and forms and uneven surface that is difficult to hit without injuring your hand or foot. All around a bad design and dose nothing for the fine name of Everlast.

- A reasonable sword for a low price. It looks OK for a decoration, or a conversation piece. I would have liked to know the product was made in Pakistan and not Japan, but althings considered, I am not an actual Ninja so I don't have to slay any Bushido warriors with it. I use it as a table decoration.

- This knife was exactly what i was hoping for in a cheap bowie. It has nice weight and size and will be excellent for chopping and clearing. It had no vibrations when tapped on the ground which indicated a solidly welded guard. The rubber handle had good solid form, and the sheath is a standard nylon.
- This knife is really on par with any other bowie out there. It's solid, holds firm, and holds an edge well. Plenty of other places will charge you $70 for a knife of this same calliber, so this one is a real find.
- I really like this sellers website (a lot of cheap stuff). an awesome selection too. he even has that giant buster sword from final fantasy (...clouds sword right??) now I really want a kill bill samurai sword for no reason lol cause a quality sword is like 40 bucks. oh yea, as for the knife, I bought it because of the size really. the surface feels like a cooking knife but it has a decent sharp edge. pretty badazz knife though. the handle feels solid and rugged. this knife gets a 4/5
- Very big knife, the only thing was, it was chipped a the point but other than that it seems to be a very good knife for the price.

- For those of you who don't know, Tabi Socks are socks you wear with traditional Geta Shoes from Japan or with Sandals. They feature a split toe, where your big toe is seperated from the rest of your toes so it can be slipped into a Sandal or Geta Shoe. These ones are Black and stretch nicely on your feet so it'll fit any foot.
- These are basically thick, black, dress socks with a split toe. They are sort of comfy but its just like wearing dress socks around the house...kinda odd, ya know. When you put them on, the stitching sounds like its about to give. They have to be stretched out to your foot size before they'll properly fit you. Worth the money? Eeeeeeh....why not? Just don't expect anything marvelous.
- I bought these socks to wear with my indoor and outdoor tabi; they are of average quality and fairly comfortable. One huge problem though: a hole developed in the big toe area after only ONE training session. They're still usable, so they function for what I need them to, but it's important to note. It's also possible I just got one defective sock out of the thousands they undoubtedly produce. I will be getting another pair eventually, so we'll see how they compare.
- These tabi socks are promoted as one-size-fits-all. Well, perhaps "one size fits" Western women between size 3 and 5. Do yourself a favor: spend a little extra money and buy a fitted tabi sock.
- These tabi socks are made of durable material, although it may feel a little rough at first it becomes comfortable when worn. I expected them to longer but they come to just above the ankle. One size may fit all in japan but if you have big feet these simply will not do. They definitely stretch but are still tight on my feet.
Overall if you just want some nice cheap tabi socks that will get the job done these will do. If you are looking for something more then look elsewhere.
