  1. After hearing about the quality of Everlast's products declining, I was very careful about buying something from them. But it turned out great after all. I received the package two days after ordering and was not disappointed. The wraps are long enough to fit around my hands and then some. They are very comfortable and can definately absorb a good impact.

  2. I paid about $7 shipped with other products to get free shipping.
(I wish everyone would make a point to say how much they paid on all their purchases since this makes a world of a difference when reading other user's reviews.)
This is flimsy but you get what you paid for.
    I would not recommend.

  3. I bought these because they are long enough to wrap my hands the way you are supposed too. After some research I found some are not long enough.

Quality is fine, at least the set I got are. I tried using just heavy bag gloves to train with, but I kept cutting my knuckles on my right hand with the fingerless gloves I bought. Grabbed these after reading a bunch, and watching some YouTube videos on proper wrapping.

So far so good, no more cut hands, and all is well. I roll them up backwards so when I'm ready to wrap my hands again I can just roll it around my hand/fingers vs. having it strung out on the floor, and untwisting it as I go. When I get to the end, the Velcro tabs are in the correct position every time so there is no guess work if I'm wrapping my hands with the wrong side up.

  4. Given that most boxing gloves these days have velcro straps, whose bright idea was it to make the entire length of these handwraps prone to sticking to velcro?
They tie very well and they're rather elastic, but you have to put a lot of yardage over your wrists to keep it tight. I have another pair of Title handwraps that I actually like much better. They don't stick to velcro and it only takes 2 or 3 wraps around the wrist to keep the wrist straight rather than the 10 or so you need with these.

The velcro issue, though, is a huge pain. I wouldn't recommend these.

  1. These worked a lot better than I initially expected them to. I expected that I would have to make all sorts of heavy modifications, but no, for the most part they worked right out of the box.

There is the problem of the metal "ring" digging into your hand while climbing. This can be alleviated with minimal padding. I'm personally a bit light so I didn't need all that much to keep it from bothering me. Pretty much a pair of gloved with a little foam sewn onto the back did the trick.

Four stars because they work well without changing them, but I needed to buy some gloves to really use them.

  2. These "Ninja Hand Claw Climbing Tigers Spikes" are designed with the hard-working governmental employee in mind. Although some may doubt their quality of construction or practicality in the real world, I assure any doubtful buyers that these were the deciding factor in many of my recent assignments around the world. When my only escape route took me to a 20ft brick wall, I left my cyanide capsule in my pocket because I had these bad boys strapped to my hands. They work well both in cold weather (northern Russia) and hot weather (Australia) so next time you're called to go anywhere to kill anyone at anytime, make sure to put these "Climbing Tigers Spikes" in your bag!

  3. I have always wanted some of these since I was a kid, and when my wife needed a few more dollars to get free shipping, she told me to find something to buy. I bought these not realizing that they were not worth the metal they were made out of. I guess I should have read the reviews. Like the others said, they will not work for climbing, as they will cut the back of your hand when any weight is applied. The oval where the spikes are is much too large to be comfortable. The points are not sharp, which would be okay if the rest of it worked as it should. Stay away from these.

  4. they hurt your hand there all metal and bend back and hurt the back of your hands

  5. Using these claws for the purpose of actually climbing a tree is an absolute pain, in both the figurative and literal sense. The strap that goes around the wrist is short; I am unable to secure it before putting my hand through, and have to fumble with the strap with one hand after placing it on my wrist. The ends felt very sharp, but still have trouble digging into the bark of most common-variety trees. One needs to 'hug' the tree to get a good grip with the claws. If the claws are able to hook in, any pressure applied away from the fingers causes the thick metal loop to dig into the back of your hand, quickly making it too painful to climb anything. The only things that keep this from getting a one-star in my book is that they can be climbed with, and could serve as okay hand-to-hand combat weapons.

  1. these shoes are great they are made from soft leather and fit very nice but be sure to buy whatever normal size you were a size up on these because they are made in china and there shoe sizes are not as accurate as ours. also, there could be better grip when you are on the floor but you will get used to it please enjoy your puchase!

  2. I love these martial arts shoes. They are cheaper than the competition and just as good. They have held up under vigorous training, 4 times a week for about 2 hours each time. They work just as good on hardwood floors and mats. Great pivoting. They are also very cute. I have been complemented on them by other Taekwondo students. My only problem with them is that they could use a thicker insert.....but I just slapped in a pair of Dr. Sholls and I'm good to go.

  3. These shoes are excellent very light weight and comfortable. I was worried at first about the fit of the shoes and the grip while doing different techiniques but these shoes are perfect for me and my Combat Jiu Jitsu classes. I would easily buy another pair if needed. I have gotten quite a few compliments on the style and looks of the shoes.

  4. Shoe is exactly as I expected it to be. I do not concurr with other comments here concerning the grip of the shoe. I have had other brands of similar design and these shoes have the best grip of them all. The insoles are a little slim; nothing that a good aftermarket sport shoe replacement insole can't fix. I am very happy with the price of the product and the speed of delivery. I recommend this shoe to all martial artists who use shoes during training sessions.

5 comments about Black Mini Night Watchman Kubotan Keychain.
  1. the product arrived in a timely fashion, was well packaged, and was exactly what i expected.

  2. While I have never owned this product or another kubotan with a knife inside, I have owned a normal flat-tipped kubotan for about three years now and had professional martial arts/self defense/police tactics training with it for the first of those three years, so consider my background when you read this review...

While I fully believe a kubotan is an EXCELLENT thing to learn how to use for self-defense for men and women alike, I fully believe that a kubotan that unscrews to hold a knife is completely impractical. How often will you have the oppotunity to unscrew the cap for the blade or even flip a pop-cap version around to the blade before you're attacked? My guess is never. More than likely, you won't even know the attack is coming if they know what they're doing, and so you need an immediate (I wish I could underline the word "immediate" to show the gravity of that term...) response to the attack. I standard kubotan is much more practical and prevents the risks of accidental damage to yourself should you fumble with it in a moment of high stress.

My opinion, whether considered professional or not, would be to buy a regular kubotan and find a martial arts or self-defense instructor that is educated and capable to teach you how to effectively use it. I had a 4th degree blackbelt in "hybrid styles" (he owns his own dojo and was given his 4th degree by counsil decision, his 3rd degree was in American Karate) teaching me, so I can tell you from experience that you will come out of it with some pain and bruises, but also invaluable experience that could save your life one day.

  3. Came on time, good condition, very handy keychain knowing it could hurt someone really bad if attacked or something. I like it. thumbs up and don't leave home without it.

  4. The Kubotan I received is totally different from the one listed in the image in the product page. The blade is in silver not black, and is not sharp at all compared to my little Victorinox Swiss Army Classic Pocket Knife. Unfortunately I bought 2 pieces from this Kubotan. you should buy a normal Kubaton at least it is cheaper and you will get what you see.

  1. This is a must for crazy campers like me. We used it to zip-line. I am not responsible for anyone who hurts and/or kills themselves from me saying that. It's fun, but should be left to people who know what they're doing (and have health insurance).

I've also used it to scale steep hillsides with trees. It's so fun and since it comes with rope, it's a complete package of fun.

  2. came fast and fun to play with wish it locked a bit better but it folding so yeah didnt really trust the rope that came with it tied nots in it to use for clibing use the rope in a pinch other then that i use my 150ft caving rope with it for raplleing and such when i want an extra ancor to be safe great fun product

  3. The rope is unclimbable. unless u own some kind of gloves that have SPIKES on em or something, this rope slips out of your hands, even if ur wearing grip gloves, as if it where smeared in butter. durable, though.

  4. Would not trust my life with it. Broke the first time used. Bolt appears to be a "pot metal" and snapped.

  5. i was suprised but this acrtually is a sturdy and well made grappling hook that works, i got it for fun but im shure it would last a long time

  1. i was looking for combat blades well i found them you can use these for combat right out of the box they are good weapons but if your looking for showoffy junk then go for another set of swords these were made for practical fighting good to suit up men cheaply if ever that situation did arise good for self defence i have a cz-82 hand gun and these by my bedside at all times i also use these for training a weapon is only as good as its handler i would sudjest these for begginers and experts alike if you want a weapon that is a one cut-one kill this is it it does need to be shapend if you want that razor sharp sword but otherwise this set is perfect for any one willing to use them. p.s. i have had people tell me that swords are useless in todays modern warfare and defence these people are utter morons they do not think about if theyre country is ever invaded they also rely on theyre military forces and are so sure of themselfs if your cocky like this then your an idiot every country has its weak points even my own country America i am a firm patriot and love my country but i do think logically

  2. It's a good buy and an even better price the strap isn't to great as soon as I got it, it took an entire 15 min for it to fall off but I went to walmart and remade the thing to how I would use it because when u try and remove the longer one it get caught a lil and for it to come out smoothly the smaller one has to be out but this is an easy fix with the right tools I ut a second strap on it so it is close to the body and so it's not loose and I removed the button and put a magnetic strap it's faster to get to this way but overall it's great hope this helps thanx

  3. PROS
for the price this set includes the longer sword which is REALLY great. I needed something for some trail clearing behind my new house, and this served the purpose really well. After sharpening the blade I had a great time cutting down vines and thorny plants. The smaller blade is perfect for display/decor, and the scabbard is nice for the price. After spending some time sharpening them properly, these blades performed well for me.

    CONS
This metal, particularly the very tip of the blade, WILL BREAK, like how an exacto knife always loses their tip, so don't try to bend it or force it on things. Also, it isn't very sharp in particular right around the curve of the blade it isn't sharp at all- almost dull! The handle grips will slide around and bunch together, and one day I'm sure they will become loose and break off; I just leave them alone even if they bunch up during use.
The Metal may rust- I don't think it's stainless steel. The scabbard bends and is prone to hiccups as you slide the sword in. You have to be careful- you can't just force your swords to sheath- you have to guide them in.

    BOTTOM LINE
I got this set for 23USD - Definitely worth it. Despite some of the cons I've listed, I think this set is above expectations for the price. They have an authentic appearance and upon closer observation they appear to be of good construction, and have this basic awesome feel to them. I didn't experience slipping or sliding with the handle grips, despite the fact that the grips slide down the handle and bunch together. You might be looking for a sword like the longer one, but don't really feel like the smaller one is worth your purchase. I'd pay 23$ just for the longer one, and really that's just what I did. I'm happy with my purchase and the shipping was 3 days early.

  4. I have owned these swords for a few years. These guys are excellent for practicing technique. Yes, they could be sharpened and turned into a weapons but, these are not true combat swords. If you are into practicing martial skills and performing your techniques with a blade that has a danger factor and not risking cutting off a limb, then this is a great buy.

If you are a professional and are going into combat, goto cold steel or traditional Filipino blades.

  5. I bought this product for a good price and it was delivered fast. The blades look pretty cool but the longer one came with a bent tip. It was shaped like a "C". They didn't come sharp either but i have someone who will fix the tip and sharpen it at no charge, so it wasn't a big deal. If you put the blade into the sheath to hard it will poke through. Overall these blades are a good buy for the price.

  1. When ordering I was unsure about picking this sword or getting another set of 3, in a different color. I must say I am thrilled with my choice. The reverse blade isn't sharp, beveled; but it is an authentic weight and is made to the best quality you'll see below the $300 price range. Clearly this sword is capable of being sharpened to battle readiness, but its hard to risk damaging it. The fact that the blade is reversed makes my favorite part of the purchase, a truly unique sword.

  2. Loved the feeling of holding this blade in my hands. The hilt seemed much longer than most swords I have, but that's great since I find it hard to grasp some swords with two hands. Just felt a touch excited when I examined the blade and touched the backside to feel the sharpened side. Heh, my wife loved seeing it too. Not overly excited about the stand since the sword kind of sits oddly in it, but it's not enough to dash the happiness of having this sword.

  3. when it came i was just amazed at the detil in the sword and the scabbard! it is the most shiny sword i have ever bought! ;)

  4. I got this just today and i did not get this sword i got a Ichigo Tensa Bankai Replica Sword so think before you order

  5. Delivery was on time, this is a very sturdy sword. Considering that people say "you get what you pay for" I got more than I expected. Although you have to understand that it is not super sharp and therefore not made to cut stuff such as bamboo. Also its blade being on the opposite side will make it difficult to swing properly. There one specific problem that irritated me two days after I recieved it. I noticed there was some sticky substance(much like tape residue) along the the unsharpened end of the sword, it was about the width of a quarters edge.It is removable but you should be careful not to dmage the blade.

  1. Best mouthguard I have ever used. Great protection, and much easier to breath than single-piece mouthguard.

  2. I usually have a hard time wearing a mouth piece, and will start to gag because I want to breath out of my mouth. So I figured I would try this mouthguard, because it has the holes in it that allow you to breath out your mouth. And I love it works great, well made.

  3. The main reason I bought this was for Krav Maga (MMA) training. I first had a regular mouth piece and was getting so winded that I couldn't keep up because the piece itself got in the way of trying to breathe. I searched all over and found this unit to be a good fit. Sizing it was very easy just using a razor blade to cut it to length per the instructions and fitting it warm after soaking in hot water. It's a bit bulky in my mouth when training but that takes just a bit to get use to and I can breathe through it very easily!

MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE THE HARD PLASTIC MOUTH INSERT IN WHEN FITTING THE MOUTH PIECE OTHERWISE YOU RISK SQUASHING AND CLOSING THE BREATHING HOLE.

  4. this mouth guard does its job great but i wish its was a bit softer like the cheapest ones that shock doctor makes but this mouth guard is still pretty nice but the case it comes with doesnt close very well but i payed for the mouth guard not the case! would still recommend it for anyone doin ufc/mma

  5. you can cut the piece for better fitting. it does seem to cut my gums or make them swell up though. it irritates them a little. i guess that's normal i'm not sure. it's been that way with every piece. anyways i like the piece, i can bite down hard and still breath from my mouth like normal. it's a nice fit but the direction say to try it first and then cut on the given lines to make a better fit. well it was to big for my mouth so i cut on the lines. and then i boiled it to fit it. well after i fit it to my gums and teeth and all was said and done i felt as if i cut to much off. so maybe wait til after you fit it to cut it to make it smaller.

  1. Great quality, comfortable, look good. One downside is, you can't were them in the rain, because there cloth.

  2. the quality of the fabric and sole gum is great, the soles are sticked and wired to the main body of the tabi so that it resists hevy duty demands in and out door.

  3. They were quite comfortable on my feet, even after long hours walking with them on. But I thought they were going to be slip-resistant. They are not. I'm using them around the house, but need to find a work pair

  4. I have owned this pair of tabi boots for a few months now, and am quite happy with the quality. I've probably worn these 5 times since I got them, each time for over an hour. The pair I received have a nice, grooved bottom, and while the material on the bottom feels hard and plastic, it grips a fair amount better than a pair of tennis shoes. The black fabric is very sturdy and wear-resistant; the material hasn't stretched or torn after multiple extended uses. The Velcro that holds the boots on is of good quality, and has not come undone during use. The inside of the boots feel a little uncomfortable barefoot, so I would spring for a pair of Tabi Socks, too. This product has served me well, and I hope to get good continued use out of it.

  5. i like these alot, they are unexpededly water proof but breath well. mine came perfect, grooves and everything. the velcro allows you to hide weapons in the boot pretty easily just keep it sheithed or youll hurt your leg or ankle. note that these do not come with a sole. so you need to buy some and cut them up to fit and split into the toes. or just withstand the pain of your foot slapping alot.
