  1. I have been buying these shoes in NYC for 4 years, and this is my first time buying them online. These are of slightly worse quality than normal. The grommet that hold the laces to the shoe fabric come lose very quickly.
But shipping was very fast and efficient.

  2. the shoes are great! my only beef is that i paid to have them sent fast and they still took forever and then they wouldn't reembourse for not meeting the time limit (like at all, i live in new york city and it took a full 9 days to get here) . if they are they sending them from china? if so, maybe they should take off the 'expediated mail' option/lie...nobody likes to feel like they just got played by amazon.. just a thought..

  3. Sturdy and light. I chose the wrong size. I am size 12 and chose size 47. One or prob 2 sizes too big, makes them feel like rubber slippers. If just the right size they would fit very snug. Make sure you get right size. Soft rubber bottoms, probably not great for tai chi practice, but would be fun to try as they would make you need to watch your stance and balance more, prob designed for hard Kung Fu and using wide sturdy stance. Decent for kicking a bag too.

  4. I have had several different martial arts shoes over the years and these are the most comfortable.
They are not the coolest looking shoes but I still prefer them over the slip on kung fu shoes, pinetree shoes etc.

  5. I got these shoes for parkour about five days ago they are the best all around parkour shoe and they are durable and light weight
although the shipping is slow i would recommend this shoe for parkour

  1. Collapses smoothly and fits in my pocket nicely. I bought a 26" from another company with nicer rubber grip on it but this foam rubber grip is fine. It is not textured for extra holding power but it comes with a wrist string that makes up for it. Holster is fine. The tip does not unscrew as far as I can tell. All around, very nice for $20 or whatever I paid.

  2. It can be collapsed into 6.5" and put into the pocket. When expanded into 16", it can be a helpful weapon of self-defense. It can be expended easily with a throw and collapsed by vertically drop it with the tip downward as instructed in the user's guide. Since it can be put into the pocket, the carrying case seems not needed.

  1. After hearing about the quality of Everlast's products declining, I was very careful about buying something from them. But it turned out great after all. I received the package two days after ordering and was not disappointed. The wraps are long enough to fit around my hands and then some. They are very comfortable and can definately absorb a good impact.

  2. I paid about $7 shipped with other products to get free shipping.
(I wish everyone would make a point to say how much they paid on all their purchases since this makes a world of a difference when reading other user's reviews.)
This is flimsy but you get what you paid for.
    I would not recommend.

  3. I bought these because they are long enough to wrap my hands the way you are supposed too. After some research I found some are not long enough.

Quality is fine, at least the set I got are. I tried using just heavy bag gloves to train with, but I kept cutting my knuckles on my right hand with the fingerless gloves I bought. Grabbed these after reading a bunch, and watching some YouTube videos on proper wrapping.

So far so good, no more cut hands, and all is well. I roll them up backwards so when I'm ready to wrap my hands again I can just roll it around my hand/fingers vs. having it strung out on the floor, and untwisting it as I go. When I get to the end, the Velcro tabs are in the correct position every time so there is no guess work if I'm wrapping my hands with the wrong side up.

  4. Given that most boxing gloves these days have velcro straps, whose bright idea was it to make the entire length of these handwraps prone to sticking to velcro?
They tie very well and they're rather elastic, but you have to put a lot of yardage over your wrists to keep it tight. I have another pair of Title handwraps that I actually like much better. They don't stick to velcro and it only takes 2 or 3 wraps around the wrist to keep the wrist straight rather than the 10 or so you need with these.

The velcro issue, though, is a huge pain. I wouldn't recommend these.

  1. Best mouthguard I have ever used. Great protection, and much easier to breath than single-piece mouthguard.

  2. I usually have a hard time wearing a mouth piece, and will start to gag because I want to breath out of my mouth. So I figured I would try this mouthguard, because it has the holes in it that allow you to breath out your mouth. And I love it works great, well made.

  3. The main reason I bought this was for Krav Maga (MMA) training. I first had a regular mouth piece and was getting so winded that I couldn't keep up because the piece itself got in the way of trying to breathe. I searched all over and found this unit to be a good fit. Sizing it was very easy just using a razor blade to cut it to length per the instructions and fitting it warm after soaking in hot water. It's a bit bulky in my mouth when training but that takes just a bit to get use to and I can breathe through it very easily!

MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE THE HARD PLASTIC MOUTH INSERT IN WHEN FITTING THE MOUTH PIECE OTHERWISE YOU RISK SQUASHING AND CLOSING THE BREATHING HOLE.

  4. this mouth guard does its job great but i wish its was a bit softer like the cheapest ones that shock doctor makes but this mouth guard is still pretty nice but the case it comes with doesnt close very well but i payed for the mouth guard not the case! would still recommend it for anyone doin ufc/mma

  5. you can cut the piece for better fitting. it does seem to cut my gums or make them swell up though. it irritates them a little. i guess that's normal i'm not sure. it's been that way with every piece. anyways i like the piece, i can bite down hard and still breath from my mouth like normal. it's a nice fit but the direction say to try it first and then cut on the given lines to make a better fit. well it was to big for my mouth so i cut on the lines. and then i boiled it to fit it. well after i fit it to my gums and teeth and all was said and done i felt as if i cut to much off. so maybe wait til after you fit it to cut it to make it smaller.

  1. This is bigger then I thought, but if you do the math, it is about 11" long when closed.
I like it, I do not fear walking the dogs any more, I took it with me to yellowstone and felt good about it.
It is somewhat heavy, which for it's size is good.
You want something to hide, get something smaller. If you want some distance and knock out power, get this.

  1. Great quality, comfortable, look good. One downside is, you can't were them in the rain, because there cloth.

  2. the quality of the fabric and sole gum is great, the soles are sticked and wired to the main body of the tabi so that it resists hevy duty demands in and out door.

  3. They were quite comfortable on my feet, even after long hours walking with them on. But I thought they were going to be slip-resistant. They are not. I'm using them around the house, but need to find a work pair

  4. I have owned this pair of tabi boots for a few months now, and am quite happy with the quality. I've probably worn these 5 times since I got them, each time for over an hour. The pair I received have a nice, grooved bottom, and while the material on the bottom feels hard and plastic, it grips a fair amount better than a pair of tennis shoes. The black fabric is very sturdy and wear-resistant; the material hasn't stretched or torn after multiple extended uses. The Velcro that holds the boots on is of good quality, and has not come undone during use. The inside of the boots feel a little uncomfortable barefoot, so I would spring for a pair of Tabi Socks, too. This product has served me well, and I hope to get good continued use out of it.

  5. i like these alot, they are unexpededly water proof but breath well. mine came perfect, grooves and everything. the velcro allows you to hide weapons in the boot pretty easily just keep it sheithed or youll hurt your leg or ankle. note that these do not come with a sole. so you need to buy some and cut them up to fit and split into the toes. or just withstand the pain of your foot slapping alot.

  1. Very good item. It comes in two pieces I attached the hook to the rope using an anchor knot and it has held my weight. It's an awesome product that i strongly recommend to all that have ever wanted one or just want something in your room that starts conversations with: "Do you know why I love you?" (pointing to grappling hook).

  2. I bought the Grappling Hook with the idea of using it to snag tree limbs and branches that I cut down on a hillside on my property. The incline of the hill is very steep and difficult to walk on. A pole pruner allows me to reach out over the hillside to cut the branches then, I snag them and pull them up the hill to dispose of properly. The combination of the Grapple Hook and the pruner makes short work of an otherwise tiring project. The Hook is very rugged and performs perfectly. I strongly recommend this product in this type of application.

  3. After purchasing this grappling hook, I put it through a few tests, and was very please with how it performed. The device easily supported my weight, which I tested by throwing the grapple up and around a tree branch and swinging on it. The four prongs are sharp, and grabbed the branch rather well. The grapple held fast after a minute or two of holding my weight. I then tested it by climbing about 15 feet up. The rope is thin, but strong, and provides a good grip for climbing.

While out hiking a few weeks ago with a friend, I decided to climb a steep rock face, with some vegetation growing off it. I had almost made it to the top, but a large boulder was in the way, so I decided to head back down. I reached a point where the grade was too steep to descend, so I had my friend take the grapple out of his pack and throw it up to me. I hooked both ends together, and lowered myself down to the base of the slope. I was very glad to have purchased this tool, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid grappling hook.

  4. ...but not bad for a small cheap anchor or for grabbing hold of debris to pull it clear searching for IED's. Dump the rope and use 550 parachute cord. It will also pull down barbed wire from the top of a wall or you can use it to open a gate without exposing yourself. Don't try hooking it up to a vehicle though cuz then it will come apart. It folds to make a nice flat package but it definitely ain't a SMALL package!

  5. PURCHASED THIS TO REMOVE SOME SMALL TREE ROOTS. ONE OF THE HOOKS BENT ON FIRST TRY. NOT STURDY AT ALL. USED SMALL SPADE TO REMOVED THE ROOT!

  1. Bought this to hold a real sword (meaning it has significant weight), and it works great. The belt loops are big enough to fit over your oversized pirate-style belts, and the holster can be adjusted to almost any size if you're clever with the laces--meaning, my scabbard was considerably thinner than most 'toy' swords, but by re-routing the laces I easily made it fit nice and snug. Real leather, looks pretty authentic.

  2. I had a similar experience as [N. Johnson]. I bought this to hold a full-size rapier for a costume and it worked pretty well. I had to be creative with the lacing to get the scabbard to fit, but it worked in the end. I pulled on the laces a bit too tightly and tore the tip off of one, but I should have expected that from real leather straps. (It's easy to get replacement ones from a craft store if need be). I also had to space the hooks when attaching to my belt or else the heavy sword would just hang straight down, which less helpful when dashing about in a heroic manner.

All in all, pretty functional and authentic looking. Good for the price too, but they get you on shipping every time!

  3. First class item, looks like I imagined that it really did back in the 18th Century.

  4. Real leather, nice design, sturdy fittings. The only problem is fit. It works best on a wide belt with a large sword. For the price, I haven't found anything that compares.

  5. This works exactly as advertised and is able to hold a relatively heavy sword with ease. It is also adjustable so you can hold almost any size and shape sword in it. I can't think of any improvements I would make on this product and it is very inexpensive. Shipping ended up costing more than the product itself, but I am very happy with the quality of this item.
