  1. Obviously not the best, but for the price it does the job. I just got mine so Im not sure how long it will last. It looks cheaply made but still I think you can get a lot of use out of it, if you're not a serious boxer. Adjusts well to fit, and protects the face.

  2. These take abit of the sting out of punches but you can still tell when you are hit. For the money i think they are great.

  3. Great headgear for what you pay (especially when they are on sale). These will work for beginners, and for more advanced boxers who want to spar half-speed. I would not let anyone wear these who was going to take serious punches. Imagine an inch of thick-cell foam, and that is what you get. Velcro neck strap and velcro circumference adjuster ensure a tight fit.

  1. Recieved product in timely manner, within 3 days of ordering. Slightly disappointed as the baton does not really have a foam grip as stated but more of a rubber grip instead. Also weight at front not fully seated on baton handle but will not affect usage. Am going to use rods in my old baton until I can fix my other rods and find a way to put a soft foam grip on the new one. For now will be used as a backup but over all adequate for $20.00. Would like decsription to be a liitle more specific when describing what type of foam handle soft or hard would be nice. Do like the fact that the rods when expanded are TIGHT and (NOT) wiggly like another baton I bouhgt two years ago. 2&1/2 to maybe 3 stars for this item. You might be better buying a Casco or ASP if you can afford but if not this will do until you can.

  2. This Steel Baton isn't too bad. It's heavier than I thought it would be. Once I practice swinging it enough, the weight won't effect me. It will definetly help to build my wrist ~hahaa

I don't recommend any women purchasing this item, because if you can't hang onto it after a few strikes. The opponent would most likely take it from you.

Let me tell you a couple things that they fail to mention. This Steel Baton feels like it weighs 5 pounds. To close it, you have to slam the top on cemented ground.

The price wasn't bad, but I sure hope it last long. I can only imagine that opening, and closing it after awhile will take it's toll.

  3. First off they shipped this very fast. So thats very kool.
Great weight, feels solid. Nice rubber padded handle. Feel very protected.
    Great for the money.
Oh and dont think its broken if it doesnt close. You gotta really Bang it on Concrete. Bang the bottom on the ground to close.

  1. does not stick at all fun to punch when i clamp it to my desk

  2. The product did not stick to the table, fell of the edge and broke. I will return the product to get something different.

  3. Plain and simple, the suction cup does not stay stuck to ANY surface. You punch it once and it sways once and falls off right off of what ever surface you tried to stick it on. Horrible product because you can not punch it more than once.

  4. I think it would be common sense for Everlast to test this product before releasing it. It is a cool novelty item I guess but if you give it a light punch or two it flips right over. It has absolutely no suction on it no matter the surface. So as you now see what everyone has been complaining about just don't even bother wasting your time on this unless you plan on gluing it to your desk.

  5. Wont stay put when you punch it. My two year old knocked it off my desk top. I was very disappointed. Dont waste your money. Wish that I could give it zero stars

  1. I used to have a similar product about 20 years ago that I really liked, and I wasn't disappointed with this one either. It's a great tool to help you achieve greater flexability, without the expense of the machine stretchers. Took less than 5 minutes to assemble, easy to use.

  2. I bought this leg stretcher because I had no space for a deluxe leg stretching machine. This device provides an excellent stretch for only a fraction of the cost.

  1. I was happy with the bokken and the time it took to get here.two thumbs up!;)

  2. I've been using a bokken in my yoga training for about a year now, and I ordered this one mainly because I wanted something a little more "dressy" (that and I love dragons). When I received this bokken, I was not disappointed. The bokken is solid, although I won't recommend it for sparring, due to the finish. It's also heavier than my old bokken, which will help in my workouts (get those wrists and forearms bulked out, right?). The picture doesn't show it, but the bokken was even delivered with a tsuba (cross-hilt), and the attachment ring for it. I greatly appreciated that. Delivery was quick, and I really liked the quality of the bokken.

The reason why I gave the bokken a 4-star rating instead of 5 is because I noticed while I was going through my exercises, that the wrapped handle was coming loose. I was a little disappointed in that, but nothing that a drop or two of super glue won't fix!

Overall, a very positive experience and a great product. Thank you!

  3. This bokken is awesome.
I have accidentally smashed it into walls and it is still in one piece. Some of the paint chipped off along with a small piece of wood though. The sword is well balanced, about 7 inches above the guard. The grip is a major plus as it allows it to not fly out of your hands, haha.

Addressing the issues talked about the guard not fitting. I am not sure, but maybe now they have updated it since the one that shipped with mine fits. You can only fit it on one way since it is grooved and the rubber that keeps it in place is good, but it is getting a little loose now.

  4. This product is a very nice looking sword, that is if you just wants to look at it, it's not very strong and breaks easily. If you plan to do some serious practice with it then it won't last you more than a month, mine only last for 3 weeks and then broke.

  5. After getting this product and reading all the others I just had to add my two cents. Overall the product is very good but it does have its good and bad. The bad is they could have sanded down the sword a littel more before patting due to you could see the bubbles; next is the wraping they used a cheap glue that after a couple of swings starts lossing up, they could have addd better glue or a tighter wrap; and last was the gaurd to start no instruction on how to places it on a littel trial and errer solved that. Now for the good the ingraving of the dargon is amazing addling a littel white would have real poped it out; Also the delivery was amazingly fast it was delivered a week before the time was said to be deliver. the packaging was a littel over kill but still good. Plus I thought I was only getting one I got two so bounes. Over all its a amazon bokken but if your going use it as solo practing add more glue to the wraping of the handel.

  1. coolness defenetly woth the buy just dont smack it hard against a three it will be damadged its pretty durable as long as you take care of it dont try to kil some one you cant by slicing but you can by stabing

  2. The sword and sheath look really nice. As some others have stated, it is definitely not made for combat, just decorative (mainly due to the fact that the sword is fairly heavy, unbalanced, and not sharp). The stand also doesn't seem to want to stay up on it's own, so it might be a good idea to get a stand separately. But as for appearance, it LOOKS AWESOME. Definitely worth having to show off.

  3. This sword is awsome. I don't know what to say, but when it arrived it was sharp as heck. This sword can cut through an 8 inch branch, and the blade doesn't bend or dent. It stays sharp. Good idea. Get it.

  4. This is a great looking sword that is very stable. The metal is good but easy to damage so don't hit is off the blade of another sword. Also be careful not to hit it on something really hard because it's not full tang and it can break easier than other swords.
Overall the sword is a great buy, it looks awesome and it's not too heavy to swing! Though I recommend for beginners to get a smaller or lighter one first.

  5. The sword arrived in mint condition, really solid with the edge reversed. Its made outta 440 stainless steel. its handle is slightly longer and the blade slightly shorter den most standard 40" katana as the blade is only 39".

Overall a good buy for its price and worth as a collector's item...

  1. So I bought these gloves today and I wasn't as impressed with them as I was the UFC gloves. I wore one on each hand and I was more impressed with the UFC gloves which had no thumb covering and had a much more impressive wrist wrap style velcrow harness. The thumb covering on these gloves isn't padded so it really is nothing but a hinderance of your range of motion with your thumb. Also the seams aren't very comfortable around the fingers. However comfort isn't really what I was going for when buying these. Also I chose these over the UFC gloves as the UFC gloves were over 7 ounces (making them training gloves for a heavy bag, not for competition). These gloves weighed 4.8 ounces, pefect for competition AND training.

Good product for the money (I think), can't wait to use them in a full training session.

  2. I bought these gloves about 3 days ago hoping that they would be a good replacement for my old gloves. At first they seemed perfect, the feel on the hands is nice, and the open palm helps for grip. Unfortunatley, after getting back from the gym today, i noticed that the seams are already starting to come undone, and that the thumb is no longer a thumb, just a hanging flap of leather. After about a grand total of 3 hours of use they re already falling apart. It doesnt matter how good they feel if you can only wear them a week. Not worth the 20 bucks.

  1. Product far exceeds other products with this description. It is incredibly durable and will not come apart like many of its wooden counterparts as it is a one piece rather than the traditional two piece products. It does have a flaw in that the mold lines were not sanded smooth. The remaining mold lines are very sharp and cut my hand slightly. The answer: wet sand the lines with wet-dry 240 grit sand paper.

  2. I just recently purchased this baton. I haven't had to use to it in a serious situation yet, but I am very impressed. After testing it in many situations, I've come to conclusion that this baton is relatively inexpensive and yet a very nice constructive and very effective method of self-defense.

Thugs and thieves beware! You could really hurt someone with this weapon, especially to prevent the loss of innocent life.

  3. This is a great baton for the money.... it is very durable and would be a capable weapon for any situation. If your looking for a something tough durable lightweight and inexpensive you've found it here

4 comments about Everlast Soft Flex Water Bag.
  1. Hats off to the folks at Everlast Boxing for producing an excellent foam and water filled heavy bag. I have had arthritis in my hands for the past 6 years and this heavy bag has not given me any problems with my hands or knuckles. Although I say this bag is "easier on the hands", I cannot emphasiize enough how important it is to wear hand protection when you are working out or training. Handwraps are designed to support and help protect the small bones in the hand from breaking. Bruises around the knuckles are normal & natural due to the amount of pressure placed on the knuckle area when punching the bag. For myself, I personally use the mexican style handwraps which provide excellent protection. If greater hand protection is preferred, I recommend the Everlast traditional training gloves because they provide greater wrist support and absorb shock a lot better than a cheap brand such as TKO. Although the instructional insert says not to fill the plastic bladder all the way up to the rim with water I did and have not had any had any water leakage at all. This bag can stand up to one hell of a tough beating and can take all of the punishment that somebody can dish out! The bag has a liner made of softflex foam which has excellent shock absorbtion and has natural give. Heavy bag swing is kept to a minimum because of natural give on the bag due to being filled with water. I highly recommend this bag for someone who has sensitivity in the hands and want a heavy bag that is more comfortable to use.

  2. Overall this is a decent product. The water filled bag is very easy on your hands and wrists, and simulates a human body(a fat human body) better than a normal bag. The water does absorb some of the impact of the punch lessening bag sway but a loop on the bottom would have been nice to allow chaining to the floor or your bag stand. The bag ships empty and disassembled. You'll receive the blue outer case, a large water bladder, and some black foam to surround the bladder. I had some problems with keeping the bags shape as there was significant sag at the bottom of the bag. They give you foam discs to reinforce the bottom of the case but adding something a little stiffer (like cardboard) may help to keep the bags proper shape. - When the bags compressed from the top and bottom it really fills out the blue case nicely. Otherwise it sags at the bottom and the elongated bladder doesn't fully fill out the case giving the bag an odd appearance and less then stellar performance. It will feel like you need to add more water. To combat this I just stuffed some old t-shirts in the case above the bladder to compress the bag down. This helped but reinforcing the bottom would have improved the sagging problem even more. It's not perfect but it's a good price, shipping is much less then a standard heavy bag, and it's is very easy on your hands and wrists.

  3. I chose this bag as replacement to a leaking Century water/air bag that I loved (4+ years old). The foam padding does not provide the needed stability around the water core causing the bag to bend on itself. The result is an inconsistent and awkward punching surface.

  4. Don't waste your time with this bag if you are serious about a workout and want something that will last. I have busted two of them inside of six months. The first lasted about four months. Everlast sent a replacement after I complained and it lasted two months before it sprang a leak in the side. Also, the bag will bulge in the side and at the bottom. Finally the top of the bag seems to collapse after some use and forms and uneven surface that is difficult to hit without injuring your hand or foot. All around a bad design and dose nothing for the fine name of Everlast.

  1. I have been practicing mixed martial arts for four years, and I have gone through all of the major glove brands. In my opinion, Everlast has always provided gloves that provided the most effective wrist support, which means less twisted wrists, especially for beginners. Everything else is well done, but not exceptional - it's comfortable, and provides durable padding, although I myself have only used the 16 oz. version
