3 comments about Everlast Double End Heavy Bag Attachment.
- I have used this now for about two months, the bag still moves and that causes the double end attachment to slide and the cord that attaches twists. But it basically does what it is meant to do. I have mine filled with water, I might try sand next to see if that makes it harder to slide.
- THE BAG ATTACHMENT HOLDS THE PUNCHING BAG IN PLACE AS DESCRIBED SO IT'S NOT SPINNING AROUND.
- This has a heavy-duty exterior sleeve and a bladder meant to be filled with water. I bought a 50 lb bag of "play sand" at the local hardware store and used that as ballast instead. This does a great job of damping the motion of the heavy bag as you work out. It's essential -- definitely buy this is you're looking at a heavy bag.

5 comments about Century® Body Opponent Freestanding Heavy Bag, XL.
- I use my Bob XL as part of my cardio fitness routine. It's very easy to raise your heart rate with fast punches and combos to poor old Bob.
Mine is located in the garage and is filled with sand and then when i couldn't fit any more sand in i topped off with water. Took a good 2 hours to fill with sand due to the small fill cap, would have been easier if i had had dry, free flowing sand.
It is extremely heavy, i can barely push it along the floor so i wouldn't recommend it if you need to regularly move it out of the way.
I weigh 215 lbs, can bench 315lbs and I can't get it to budge with hard punches. It sits on a concrete floor, may be different on a polished wood surface.
I recommend this model over the standard Bob, it's heavier and has more target areas to hit.
I would advise wearing bag mitts when hitting Bob with any force, especially due to the moulding of the face it is easy to bruise knuckles.
If you are into martial arts/boxing then nothing can replace a decent heavy punch bag for developing punch power but for average hitters like myself or for those who need a quality fitness workout then the Bob Xl comes highly recommended!
- This Bob comes with a groin and this makes all the difference. When in a fight if your opponent is a male if you strike him hard in the groin you will weaken him greatly. Then punch him in the nose very hard, repeatedly. As a Bob, I am not offended by this product because there are evil Bobs in the world in addition to good ones like myself. Liberate your mind from victim psychology and train hard.
- I searched the Internet for weeks looking for a freestanding punch bag, I wanted a human shaped bag because it allowed me to practice strikes to vital areas of the body, one of my friends has a human shaped bag made of hard plastic which hurts a lot when you punch it and I was a little worried this bag would be the same.
I checked out some You Tube clips of the Bob bag and it looked really good so I made a purchase, the Bob bag arrived in 4 days. The Bob bag is very broad like a heavyweight boxer, much wider than I expected, when you stand face to face with Bob psychologically because of its size, build and angry face it feels more like you are going into a fight with someone way more powerful than you, which I guess at 6 feet and 300 pounds with no fat would be true.
Bobs skin is really weird, it does not feel like rubber but feels very similar to human flesh, it's soft like ballistics gel but flexes like rubber,it doesn't have the horrible dirty rubber smell, Bobs muscles are also really weird, I thought from the photos they were just little indentations but its a full mold with the muscle sticking out very realistically like someone had just painted a bodybuilder pink. When my dog first saw Bob he thought it was real person, starting barking at it and biting its torso,so he wasn't the only dummy in the room but once he got a sniff he knew it was real.
Bob was comfortable enough for me to punch without the gloves and I am not a boxer. I adjusted Bob to the full 6 feet in height and one thing that I thought was great is that the dummy doesn't rattle as the torso fits perfectly into the stand.
The gloves that came with bob had gel filled knuckles; they look cheap but are very comfortable and allow your hands to breath in long work outs.
The first time I stood bob up I just had to lay into him, I struck his nose which moves with the strike, and it doesnt chip or warp, when you punch him in the stomach you can feel the strike be absorbed by the surrounding material, its exactly like the density and feel of striking a real torso and doesnt have any nasty screws or hard pieces inside to break your hand.
I gave Bob an uppercut to his chin, I expected his head to fly backwards but it moves back only slightly, just like it does on a real person. I decided to then choke him with a rear naked choke, by then I was just having so much fun strangling him I just started laughing at the way his head bends.
Kicks to Bob were easy, the base doesn't get in the way so you don't get caught when you move in close, so if you like kicking you're in luck, the fact that bob has no legs wasn't a problem at all if you're really picky about it you can just wrap the base with pillows.
The XL bob comes with the groin; it's just a pair of shorts not a separate attachment, not that type of doll. The Groin area is great for practicing knee kicks, useful if someone strong grabs you.
I read that Bob tends to tip over when you punch him, this is generally because some people shove when they punch, anyway I filled my Bob with rocks and placed a rubber bath mat under the stand this way Bob is really heavy and doesn't mark the floor. I can punch Bob, choke him and even try and take him down to the ground.
Because of Bobs light colour he gets dirty, it's not a problem because of his smooth surface dirt doesn't stick well to him, washing him with a cloth and water does the trick every time.
I am really glad I purchased Bob. Overall really great fun, a weird item in a good way, I had a good laugh with this. I tend to be really picky about things but this is one of those products that you buy and recommend to everyone.
- Purchased bob to replace a weather-worn wavemaster xxl. I'm glad I went this route. Hitting bob is a completely different experience. It allows you to really aim your strikes at specific body parts. This is a big improvement in practicing techniques over a simple bag like the wavemaster. I loved the wavemaster, but this adds another dimension to training. Practicing krav maga, we use a lot of strikes that would be illegal in other disciplines, such as eye gouging, groin strikes, throat punches, etc. BOB is great for working these techniques. The body is a bit heavy when you hit the ribs, and is tough on the wrists, but otherwise it's great. Very heavy, so it moves somewhat when you hit it but doesn't get out of control.
- I'm just a regular person, not a fighter, but I love boxing and MMA and thought this looked like a fun way to mix up my cardio workout. It's really an impressive piece of equipment and I've enjoyed beating on it. If you're not a fighter I think you'd be really surprised how exhausting working out on one of these can be. Really gets me sweating and my heart rate up like you would expect from vigorous exercise.
Definitely get some gloves though to hit it with. I think you would hurt your knuckles if you hit it barehanded very much. I got these gloves and have been 100% satisfied with them. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00074H7L4/ref=oss_product

5 comments about Everlast Inflatable Punching Bags.
- I too had similar leak issues on the base where the water sits. I don't think this bag can handle the punishment. I had to patch 2 leaks so far.
- i had tried this product as a substitute for a therapeutic dummy as an anger management tool as it's one of the few i found under $80 without a face but it is not sturdy enough at the seams to tolerate children. The more mature teenager did just fine and used the product correctly and it's still going strong.
- After two usage by my 4 year old and by my 8 year old boys the bag started to leak air. I haven't had time to repair it. bummer!!!
- I bought this for a christmas present for my son and he is somewhat satified with it. He complains that it moves too much, he would prefer one that gives more resistance.
- Kids are from 2-8 years of age and they love it. Seems very durable and stays inflated. I'd recommend this item.

5 comments about Everlast Elite Adjustable Speedbag Platform.
- Let me just start off by saying that this is not a bad platform at all. It looks great on my wall. Having said that, I did have to spend an extra $20 at the hardware store today so I could mount the thing. The set came with a bolt and screw stripped, no mounting hardware (i knew that when i bought it, though), and one very important piece that i ended up having to bore out because it didn't fit what it was supposed to. Lots of headaches with this thing, but when it's all said and done, it doesn't look half bad. I have yet to put the bag on it, i am a little skeptical of how it will hold up, though. In the end, you get what you pay for.
- This is a great product for those who want more than the beginner speed bag set; a sturdy structure and decent swivel allow for quicker response. As other reviews have noted, the assembly instructions are poor at best. There are many misprints (i.e. "bag" bolts), but nothing that a quick read-through prior to assembly can't decipher. Only recommendation is to make sure to measure the height for installation prior to drilling holes. I know this sounds obvious but I had to put the support rods higher than anticipated (I am 6 feet tall) - so as the saying goes - "measure twice - cut (or drill) once."
- Great bag platform for the home gym!! I bought the "Elite" speedbag platform after reading the reviews and must say I'm glad I did. The Elite is a rock solid. You won't loose speed or rhythm to the movement of a flimsy frame or board. Mine came with Everlast's NEW style chrome plated Pro swivel that allows bag removal with the pulling of a simple cotter pin. (Not the hard to use old "Pro" style galvanized swivel with the chain link.) Coupled with a leather 4214 speed bag, this is one GREAT workout station!
I'd like to address some of the "issues" that that others have mentioned that might make you think twice about the Elite:
First, and obviously, you will need tools to assemble and install. A drill, drill bit, #2 Phillips head screw driver, tape measure, Torpedo (magnetic is a plus) level, and adjustable wrench will do the trick. These are all basic tools even if you live in an apt. If you don't already own these, you should... These tools will be easy to find if you don't want your own a tool kit.
Mounting Hardware: This unit comes with all the hardware needed EXCEPT the fasteners to mount the horizontal wood pieces to the wall. This is reasonable, since Everlast has no idea where you'll hang your unit. Why add to the cost of the unit by adding a bunch of un-needed hardware? - To mount through ½" drywall into wood studs, I used 4 ea - 5/16" x 4" Lag Screws, and washers (Cost about $2.00 total at Lowes), plus a longer drill bit to pre-drill the wall studs for the Lag Screws ($5.00 at Lowe's, but will go into my toolbox and be usable long after this project is done.) Lowe's sales folks can help you decide which is the best hardware for your application.
I usually like to span 3 studs when hanging stuff, too, but this kit is set-up to attach to two, at 16". This is absolutely not a problem, my platform does not move what so ever.
Ceiling Height: I'm 6'1 and set mine about 4 inches down from an 8ft ceiling. I'm using the top setting, (bottom of the bag about mid nose height) so if you are much taller, you may want to hang a little higher.
Instructions: It really doesn't need any... There are only 8 separate parts, plus fasteners. A simple look at the front of the box (or the Amazon product photo) will show you how every thing assembles. Just start by figuring how high your top wood needs to be and work your way down. Keep things plumb and level. Took my son and I about 1.5 hours to install, and we were clowning around much of the time.
All in all, this is the perfect set-up for my family and friends. I highly recommend this unit!
- ONCE (INSTALLED) IS GREAT TAKES SOME WORK,BUT ITS WELL WORTH IT.IF U PLAN ON USE IN BASMENT FIRST CHECK CEILING HIGHT.ALL SAID I USE IT 4-5 TIMES A WEEK &LOVE IT!
- when i recieved this punching bag platform the booklet and instructions were not in the box,the ring that held the bag on the swivel was bent , and one of the plastic handles that secure the platform together was broken. everlast finally sent me replacement parts but it was obvious that this was a used item. it was my first purchase on amason and probably my last.

5 comments about Genuine Leather Riding Crop Whip.
- This item is attractive in it's look and easy for a novice to get into the swing of things. Whether for horse back riding or erotic use. Because of it's construction and design, this light item can be used in various situations but, care must be exercised at all times. Try not to swing it too fast or hard at anytime during it's use. Then you can WHIP IT GOOD!
- I would have to completely review with everyone who reviewed this product except for "WHIP IT GOOD." Didn't even get a chance to use it properly before the tip broke. It arrived with cracked leather and missing paint, very cheap not worth even the five bucks it's listed at.
- this product started to fall apart after only a few swings. After a week of use the tip fell off. It would be fine for one time bedroom play but nothing else.
- not for any one if u want a whip that u can use several time but not a long time, this is for u. its not that flexible and mine broke after 2 weeks.
- Bought this for my halloween costume. I was a dominatrix. I broke the leather thong off at the end trying to get it out of the package. They sent it to me wrapped in plastic and tape, really hard to unpackage. I ended up fixing the leather thong, but it broke again afterwards. It served it's purpose and was really cheap. If you'll be using it often though, I'd spend more for something that will last longer.

5 comments about 2pc Ninja Hand Claw Climbing Tigers Spikes.
- great ninja weapons. they good for fighting but not for climbing wich is what they where made for
- These things came to me in great condition. The only thing that I think is wrong with the claws is that they don't come very sharp, but I took a chizzle and scraped the tips for about 1 minute on each point and they were very sharp and very effective on climbing trees! Mainly what you need is a good pair of dirt biking gloves or some just regular winter gloves for the metal ring not to hurt your hands while climbing. That's what I use and it works great. I acknowledge you not to listen to the other reviews and make your own opinion. These things are a great pice of work and all it takes is a little bit of muscle!
- If you want to buy something that looks cool then get them. They are cheap so don't expect to be climbing 30 feet up a tree or trekking across a mountain. 1st off you don't use stuff like this for those types of actions anyways. If a ninja ever did use these to climb it was only a momentary pull because they help a little but they would have used good technique and not a hand claw to climb a wall or tree.
As for self-defense, the metal going all the way around the hand gives you a good area to fend of any sharp blades and if your good you can uses both hands and catch the blade with the spikes. Also the spikes may not be the sharpest but with a good scrape they will cut skin for sure and I'd wager that, that would be the main use of these devices.
*Note: For those of you wanting to climb tree's. You ideally use your hands very little climbing anything except for balance and maneuvering, everything else is in your core and legs. So do a little research on climbing techniques before you accidentally hurt yourself because free falling from 20+ feet hurts bad. Trust me I have done it and you don't just get up.
- These worked a lot better than I initially expected them to. I expected that I would have to make all sorts of heavy modifications, but no, for the most part they worked right out of the box.
There is the problem of the metal "ring" digging into your hand while climbing. This can be alleviated with minimal padding. I'm personally a bit light so I didn't need all that much to keep it from bothering me. Pretty much a pair of gloved with a little foam sewn onto the back did the trick.
Four stars because they work well without changing them, but I needed to buy some gloves to really use them.
- These "Ninja Hand Claw Climbing Tigers Spikes" are designed with the hard-working governmental employee in mind. Although some may doubt their quality of construction or practicality in the real world, I assure any doubtful buyers that these were the deciding factor in many of my recent assignments around the world. When my only escape route took me to a 20ft brick wall, I left my cyanide capsule in my pocket because I had these bad boys strapped to my hands. They work well both in cold weather (northern Russia) and hot weather (Australia) so next time you're called to go anywhere to kill anyone at anytime, make sure to put these "Climbing Tigers Spikes" in your bag!

5 comments about Everlast Mixed Martial Arts Punch / Kick Mitt.
- Great quality! If you look for a boxing mitt that's definitely one you should consider bying.
- I've used these for a while now, and they seem to be holding up well. Only complaint is I wish it had a velcro adjustable wriststrap to really lock them on to your hands. I find myself constantly having to re-adjust them since there's no adjustment available.
- Just ordered 2 of these and they are pretty good, as punch mits go. About 12 x 12 and big enough to hide large size hands. You usually get what you pay for, but in this case, you might be getting the better end of the deal. I would like to have had adjustable wrist straps, but the padded ones on the back provide adiquate grip. The "glove" can be worn on either hand. But we will see after several months of punching/kicking, I might have to order and replace.
- These are great for my female kickboxing class. They fit great on small hands.
- Bought this so I could help my kid train. Great for him to hit is just the perfect size. Only gripe is that I have large hands and it is hard for me to use very long. If you have medium hands this will be a non issue and it really isn't a deal breaker for me at the price I am very happy. Has stood up very well for about a year now.

5 comments about Everlast Freestanding Reflex Bag.
- I disagree with the previous review. I bought this item and have been having fun with it. I'm a serious martial artist weighing 195 lbs and I hammer this thing with punches as hard and fast as I can and it keeps bouncing back. I purchased this to use inside during the winter months. If you want a heavy bag--buy one. This is meant to work speed, and it also gives you a chance to work defensive head movements, since it snaps back at you. For the price, it's a good value.
Minor complaints, the spring will unscrew slightly as you work it. I just screw it back down afterwards. The construction isn't heavy duty--but it's fine for the price.
- I just weight about 190 lb. But when I punch the bag, it is not difficult to punch it to bend it to the ground. What's worst, the head was broken and flew out one day. I seriously suggest everlast recalls this product and re-examines or re-designs the head (the ball)!
- The bag was great at first. The spring makes the reaction speed to the bag fairly slow. My biggest complaint is the bag itself started tearing apart from the inside from impact. Every time I punch it, bits of foam the bag is made of keep falling out of it. I keep thinking my next punch will knock the bag off the pole and then I just wasted $40. Was great until it started falling apart. Might as well pay more for a better bag. I guess you get what you pay for.
- title says it all , basicly the bag flew off and coulda been dangerous with the metal bar swinging vigourasly. and on top of it the bag is slow to return b/c of the sping on the bottom not much relex is needed lol
- WOW this thing is not made to be hit. The first one i got tore in less than 15mins of hitting. I returned it and got a new one, hoping it was just a lemon. When the new one got home, it was the same story. The top tore off within just a few minutes of use. This is a flawed produced. It just amazes me that companys are able to sell junk like this to people. Its not worth the money. You would much better off buying a TITLE or Cobra reflex bag for the extra 50 dollars.
