5 comments about Genuine Leather Riding Crop Whip.
- This item is attractive in it's look and easy for a novice to get into the swing of things. Whether for horse back riding or erotic use. Because of it's construction and design, this light item can be used in various situations but, care must be exercised at all times. Try not to swing it too fast or hard at anytime during it's use. Then you can WHIP IT GOOD!
- I would have to completely review with everyone who reviewed this product except for "WHIP IT GOOD." Didn't even get a chance to use it properly before the tip broke. It arrived with cracked leather and missing paint, very cheap not worth even the five bucks it's listed at.
- this product started to fall apart after only a few swings. After a week of use the tip fell off. It would be fine for one time bedroom play but nothing else.
- not for any one if u want a whip that u can use several time but not a long time, this is for u. its not that flexible and mine broke after 2 weeks.
- Bought this for my halloween costume. I was a dominatrix. I broke the leather thong off at the end trying to get it out of the package. They sent it to me wrapped in plastic and tape, really hard to unpackage. I ended up fixing the leather thong, but it broke again afterwards. It served it's purpose and was really cheap. If you'll be using it often though, I'd spend more for something that will last longer.

5 comments about Everlast Inflatable Punching Bags.
- I too had similar leak issues on the base where the water sits. I don't think this bag can handle the punishment. I had to patch 2 leaks so far.
- i had tried this product as a substitute for a therapeutic dummy as an anger management tool as it's one of the few i found under $80 without a face but it is not sturdy enough at the seams to tolerate children. The more mature teenager did just fine and used the product correctly and it's still going strong.
- After two usage by my 4 year old and by my 8 year old boys the bag started to leak air. I haven't had time to repair it. bummer!!!
- I bought this for a christmas present for my son and he is somewhat satified with it. He complains that it moves too much, he would prefer one that gives more resistance.
- Kids are from 2-8 years of age and they love it. Seems very durable and stays inflated. I'd recommend this item.

5 comments about Everlast Elite Adjustable Speedbag Platform.
- Let me just start off by saying that this is not a bad platform at all. It looks great on my wall. Having said that, I did have to spend an extra $20 at the hardware store today so I could mount the thing. The set came with a bolt and screw stripped, no mounting hardware (i knew that when i bought it, though), and one very important piece that i ended up having to bore out because it didn't fit what it was supposed to. Lots of headaches with this thing, but when it's all said and done, it doesn't look half bad. I have yet to put the bag on it, i am a little skeptical of how it will hold up, though. In the end, you get what you pay for.
- This is a great product for those who want more than the beginner speed bag set; a sturdy structure and decent swivel allow for quicker response. As other reviews have noted, the assembly instructions are poor at best. There are many misprints (i.e. "bag" bolts), but nothing that a quick read-through prior to assembly can't decipher. Only recommendation is to make sure to measure the height for installation prior to drilling holes. I know this sounds obvious but I had to put the support rods higher than anticipated (I am 6 feet tall) - so as the saying goes - "measure twice - cut (or drill) once."
- Great bag platform for the home gym!! I bought the "Elite" speedbag platform after reading the reviews and must say I'm glad I did. The Elite is a rock solid. You won't loose speed or rhythm to the movement of a flimsy frame or board. Mine came with Everlast's NEW style chrome plated Pro swivel that allows bag removal with the pulling of a simple cotter pin. (Not the hard to use old "Pro" style galvanized swivel with the chain link.) Coupled with a leather 4214 speed bag, this is one GREAT workout station!
I'd like to address some of the "issues" that that others have mentioned that might make you think twice about the Elite:
First, and obviously, you will need tools to assemble and install. A drill, drill bit, #2 Phillips head screw driver, tape measure, Torpedo (magnetic is a plus) level, and adjustable wrench will do the trick. These are all basic tools even if you live in an apt. If you don't already own these, you should... These tools will be easy to find if you don't want your own a tool kit.
Mounting Hardware: This unit comes with all the hardware needed EXCEPT the fasteners to mount the horizontal wood pieces to the wall. This is reasonable, since Everlast has no idea where you'll hang your unit. Why add to the cost of the unit by adding a bunch of un-needed hardware? - To mount through ½" drywall into wood studs, I used 4 ea - 5/16" x 4" Lag Screws, and washers (Cost about $2.00 total at Lowes), plus a longer drill bit to pre-drill the wall studs for the Lag Screws ($5.00 at Lowe's, but will go into my toolbox and be usable long after this project is done.) Lowe's sales folks can help you decide which is the best hardware for your application.
I usually like to span 3 studs when hanging stuff, too, but this kit is set-up to attach to two, at 16". This is absolutely not a problem, my platform does not move what so ever.
Ceiling Height: I'm 6'1 and set mine about 4 inches down from an 8ft ceiling. I'm using the top setting, (bottom of the bag about mid nose height) so if you are much taller, you may want to hang a little higher.
Instructions: It really doesn't need any... There are only 8 separate parts, plus fasteners. A simple look at the front of the box (or the Amazon product photo) will show you how every thing assembles. Just start by figuring how high your top wood needs to be and work your way down. Keep things plumb and level. Took my son and I about 1.5 hours to install, and we were clowning around much of the time.
All in all, this is the perfect set-up for my family and friends. I highly recommend this unit!
- ONCE (INSTALLED) IS GREAT TAKES SOME WORK,BUT ITS WELL WORTH IT.IF U PLAN ON USE IN BASMENT FIRST CHECK CEILING HIGHT.ALL SAID I USE IT 4-5 TIMES A WEEK &LOVE IT!
- when i recieved this punching bag platform the booklet and instructions were not in the box,the ring that held the bag on the swivel was bent , and one of the plastic handles that secure the platform together was broken. everlast finally sent me replacement parts but it was obvious that this was a used item. it was my first purchase on amason and probably my last.

5 comments about Solid Natural Wood Cord Wrapped Practice Boken Daito Sword.
- Please beware that the picture DOES NOT represent what you receive! I purposely selected this boken for the Natural Wood Cord wrapped handle with a dark tsuba and band to match the rest of my set. The only part of what I received that is similar to the picture is the dark cord wrapping. The boken itself was a stained much darker than pictured and the accompanying tsuba and band were tan/white respectively.
- I needed sword props for a school performance project and the items were just perfect for my needs. The swords were more than I expected. The wood finish quality was exceptional, and especially the wrapped cording for the handles. I would recommend this product to others.
- Even if it is not meant for contact, good bokken can withstand hits. I ordered mine from e-bogu and have hit solid ice and trees thousands of times without a single crack in my bokken. It only chipped very slightly when I accidentally rammed it into the asphalt once (which I would expect), but still can withstand getting pounded against trees no problem.
If this thing really does break after one hit, then it's clearly poor craftsmanship.
- This bokken has a good feel to it but it's much lighter than the other one that I bought Single 40" Dragon Datio Bokken Kendo Practice Sword.
The guard is nice, but it's not like the one pictured, it is a simple rubber band type that does not extend outwards on to the guard as shown. Also, the color on the one I received is much different. It is darker, like a wooden desk with varnish, but I still like it. Maybe it's just the seller, who knows: [...]
Here are the dimensions, the hilt is 10" (0.25" more than the Dragon bokken), and the blade is 28" (1" less than the Dragon bokken), with an overall length of 38.25" (Dragon bokken is 39", an inch shorter than the advertised length).
- The Bokken arrived well protected and is intact. It feels solid and has a good weight its definitely good for practice I haven't hit anything, neither do I intend to so for impact resistance I can only say it looks like it can take some beating. Blade is 29.5" in length.

1 comments about Everlast 100-Pound C3 Foam Heavy Bag.
- I've had this bag for a while. I use it at least 3-5 times a week and it still looks almost brand new. I think this is the best 100lb bag I've used, even out of the ones at my gym. I was deciding between this one and the 100 lb everlast nevatear, but I always see those duct taped up and with holes in them. I would say spend the extra $25 for this one...much better!

5 comments about Century Aerobic Wavemaster.
- Ok, on the one hand, the product does what it says, does it rather well, and arrived quickly and I can't complain about the price, product, or shipping. It's big, it's heavy, It's stable, it didn't break my hands, feet, knees, or elbows when I pounded the snot out of it It also survived a beating that would make a pro wrestler whimper like a scalded puppy.
That being said...
There are three available colors Red, Blue, and Black. Gentlemen, contrary to all possible logic, the black one is the ladies model. maybe my monitor is a little off, but what looked like an off white graphic is actually a very pink, very feminine decal that is never ever coming out of the fabric.
So, I had this thing delivered to my workplace, and I'm thinking, cool, Christmas is here, when I see the large round box in the office. As I'm opening it up to show the people I work with my new prize, what do I manage to see first? The Big pink decal.
I work with a combination of extremely liberal women and current and ex military men. I don't know which was worse, the Women calling it cute and telling me that it's so great that I can use it to work out my emotions, or the Men pointing out that I now have a giant pink and black phallic symbol in my home.
So I took it home, quickly to avoid any further proof that I had the gayest heavy bag on the market short of hiring a male prostitute for the express purpose of slapping him around, and set it up.
According to the instructions, you need a garden hose to fill the base with water. This is probably the best method, but as I did not have a garden hose handy, I made a funnel out of a 2 liter bottle. it fits perfectly, and if you do it right, you can get some good cardio going filling it from a popcorn bowl. Just fill it from a sink on the other side of the house and run to fill it.
This should take about 72 hours to complete successfully, but the bright side is that if you avoid snacking you will have already gotten more benefit out of the heavy bag than most people ever get out of a Nordic track.
After you pass out from low blood sugar and come round, remember to put the cap back on the fill spout this is important because odds are you didn't fill it properly the first time and are going to knock it over.
So, after you put out the fire from the space heater, then fill the base up completely, and remember to put the cap back on the fill hole, no more than another 72 hours later, you should be ready to punch this thing.
Now, despite appearances, it is not going to lisp, "Stop It!" at you when you hit it. In fact if you are not used to freestanding heavy bags, odds are you are either going to hurt yourself or knock it over. If you knock it over, step back further, because you are getting too much penetration from your swings. (as a side note, I can't believe I'm talking about a giant pink and black phallus and then mentioned penetration from swings)
If you hurt yourself, get a new popcorn bowl and a netflix subscription, trust me there is nowhere to go but down from there.
- Century Aerobic WavemasterI received a shock when I ordered this bag and realized that the bag was indeed black, but had pink lettering. Unfortunately, this was a present for my son. So my wife called to return the item. They said that since it was our fault--our fault!!--for ordering the product we had to pay for the return shipping costs! We went to UPS and they told us it would cost $200 to send the item back. The item itself only cost $100! When I called the company to tell them this, they simply reiterated that since it was our fault for ordering the incorrect item we would have to pay for the shipping. I then spoke to a manager and asked her if we could use their discounted shipping. She had to think about it! We had to call her back two days later (because she said she would called us, but forgot) and then she reluctantly gave us a return label. Besides this debacle, the item was not at all what I thought it would be. The people who wrote their reviews before me must have been hobbits if they thought this item could withstand regular use by an adult. Very disappointed all around. I will never order from this company again.
- I've only had this for about three months, so I'll try to remember to update my review after I've had it a bit longer. In the time that I've had it, though, I think it works great!
I'm not into martial arts seriously, and I bought this just so I could do my at-home kickboxing and boxing workout DVD's. (As a point of reference, I use boxing workouts from people like Cathe Friedrich, Amy Bento, and Michael Olajide.) For these workouts, it's been perfect. It adds a whole different level of intensity to your workouts. If you're stronger and more serious with your workouts, my understanding is that the Wavemaster XXL bag will be better. My husband, for instance, is a black belt in kung fu and is about 180 pounds, and the few times he's used this bag, he found it to be too light for him.
I also decided to pick up this bag as opposed to the regular Century Wavemaster since it seems to have a longer red or blue padded area, and, in fact, that is the case. Since I have terrible flexibility, can't kick that high, and am only 5'4", I wanted to be sure that I had a bag that would allow me to kick it without hurting myself, and this bag definitely fits the bill. Since the padded area is long, I can kick it and not have to worry about accidentally kicking the black base or hurting myself on it.
Another nice feature is that you can fill this with water or sand. I used a pitcher and the bathtub to fill it up, and it only took about 20 minutes to do so.
One negative is that I find that it does move when I use it. I've tried placing a yoga mat underneath and that helps a bit, but generally I just punch it in one direction, then punch it back into place going the other direction. It hasn't been an issue for me at all.
I also got the red color, which is a fun, bright color to have in my workout space.
Overall, a fun purchase. It's solid and well-built, and I can tell that it will last for years to come since, after using it weekly for the last few months, it still looks brand new.
- I was really excited to get this but now that it has arrived I am dissapointed. I am a small girl 5'2" and when I hit this it moves all over the place! About an inch with each punch! I am going to try sand next and see if it keeps it from going all over :(
The foam cylinder is firm but when you hit it it makes TONS of noise. Not good for apt living! If you are on the 2nd floor forget it! Thankfuly I have it in the 1st floor of our place so that helps but with it moving about you dont want to be on the top floor.
I put a thin blanket over the cylinder and it muffles some of the loud noise from the punching. That kinds helps. If I can get it to not move around I will rate higher but for now I am totally bummed.
- We purchased this item to practice kickboxing and martial arts. It has been a good product for us. We have no complaints about the product or service. The service was very good the order was processed and shipped very quickly. Thank you.

5 comments about 40" Red Kendo Wooden Bokken Practice Samurai Sword Katana.
- This is an ok practice product. Don't imagine you will be getting a work of master craftsmanship. The main marvel here is that mass produced components could be jammed together in the form of something roughly useful. Forget about the plastic hand guard, by the way. It doesn't fit. And the edge on the wooden blade is so rounded that only sheer bludgening force could make it useful in a real fight.
...Which, I suppose, is one of the functions of a practice sword. But then, if harmlessness is really the point, wood would hardly be the ideal material.
It's heavy, I'll give it that.
Overall, my impression of this produce is, it's cheap. Not 'bad', though.
- The real item given to me is completely different than the one depicted on the picture. I isn't all that shiny, and the shape is a little distorted, but now I'm just nit-picking. The paint is thick, and it dents very easily when practicing. The grip will slip off when handling it towards the bottom, which is how kendo sticks should be practiced as. The guard will also become a problem, and irritate the wrist after a while.
- Well, to start, I should point out that I paid less than ten bucks for this, and had no intention of using it for any reason other than messing around. The sword was not red as the picture showed it to be, but I didn't really want a red one so it worked out. The sword came with a chip/crack in the tip, and that grew a bit when i dropped it on the cement outside. But again, I just wanted to play with it. The crack is only an aesthetic problem - its still sturdy and can take a decent beating. Its really pretty awesome - not too heavy, not really light. Like I said, its really sturdy and can take a beating. It looks awesome, most people don't notice the crack in the top anyway. Basically, if you're wondering whether or not to buy it, buy it. Yes you can get a better wooden sword, but for less than ten bucks this sword is more than worth it.
- Looks great! and it is not to light as I thought it would be. I loke it very much, and looks great.
- we used these swords in our Japanese play and they were so sturdy and beautiful! still look like new after many stage performance fights. well worth the money.

5 comments about Shock Doctor Braces Mouthguard.
- I was excited to find something that would work with my braces but this product did not work at all. It does not fit securely. I opened my mouth and it falls out. I tried to boil it and...you can't! There is nothing to bond it to your teeth! There is $15.00 down the drain. Save your money and buy a different that one because this is just a waste of money.
- My son is 11 and while this does a good job of protecting, a hard bite easily slices through the guard. This really is no different from any other mouthpiece. I was a little surprised that it wasn't more sturdy.
Ray
- This is perfect for an adult with braces. I love it. It is very comfortable.
- I regrettably had to return the Shock Doctor for Braces due to the fact it would not stay on my braces or even in my mouth. I play soccer as a goalie and need to protect my braces and mouth so I purchased one of the only options for us adults (over 30) with braces. This item just did not work.
I am now purchasing the cheap boil and bites and every week I just boil them again and reshape them to fit my teeth. What a waste of money. Nice idea but a terrible product for me.
- Did not fit the person I bought it for (not even close) and is very difficult to return, which is understandable. You would think the manufacturer "Shock Doctor" might step in and offer some kind of credit, but they don't. You'll likely end up with a pricey piece of worthless Silicone gel. Since people with braces usually don't have a "standard" mouth shape (or they wouldn't be wearing braces) I have serious doubts about this product's legitimacy.
UPDATE: I have since discovered that the simplest solution for a person with braces is simply to get a ordinary mouthguard that you boil to fit. They cost as little as $1 and the boil method works fine, even with braces.)

4 comments about Everlast Durahide Head Gear.
- Obviously not the best, but for the price it does the job. I just got mine so Im not sure how long it will last. It looks cheaply made but still I think you can get a lot of use out of it, if you're not a serious boxer. Adjusts well to fit, and protects the face.
- These take abit of the sting out of punches but you can still tell when you are hit. For the money i think they are great.
- Great headgear for what you pay (especially when they are on sale). These will work for beginners, and for more advanced boxers who want to spar half-speed. I would not let anyone wear these who was going to take serious punches. Imagine an inch of thick-cell foam, and that is what you get. Velcro neck strap and velcro circumference adjuster ensure a tight fit.
- First of all, I bought this headgear because of it's price. At less than $25, it's a good deal for training/light sparring head protection.
My problem with the headgear is that it's on the small-ish side for my head. Though this headgear comes in an "Adult" size, I still had a hard time putting it on (I assumed it was a one size fits all); the design itself is not very intelligent either.
First of all, on the back, there is an adjustable strap coming from the top middle down to the back of the head but the straps coming from the front and sides are not adjustable, rendering the whole point of the back adjustable strap useless - in simpler terms, you cannot adjust the height at all defeating the purpose of the strap in the first place. As I could not strap close the bottom velcro, I cut off the top straps entirely. This does not seem to cause any problems in terms of vulnerability or protection as the straps itself does not do much and the headgear is already snug with no fear of getting loose.
Secondly, I could not fit the headgear because of the thick cushioning that i cut off the back cushion. Because it is attached via two straps, I figured I can always sew them back on but it would have been nice to be able to velcro them on and off. Of course that makes the back of your head vulnerable but I figured I won't be hit from behind so it's a compromise. The elastic band on the back is also very tight and not very elastic at all. Eventually I plan to find another elastic band to sew on and sew on the back cushion as well
Overall, it's a cheap sturdy protection for your head. If it fits perfectly, then it's a great deal for you but for the fellas with larger head sizes, it would have been great if this headgear was more adjustable/elastic. If you could, I would recommend checking out a sporting goods store first and trying it on.

5 comments about Demon Barber Straight Razor of Sweeney Todd Movie Replica.
- This thing is huge... just don't think your going to shave with the stainless steel blade...
- Although i'm only 20 years old, i am possessed with a senior's fear for all things thechnological. For this reason i am very tentative about my online shopping, as i feel it is all too easy to cheat someone over the internet. Well when it came right down to it, i wanted a Sweeney Todd razor: and let's face it, i can't buy one at Wal Mart, now can i. So i came here to Amazon. I chose the razor i did because it was a good price, and already had plenty of good reviews. I'm simply here to add my own to those already in existence. The razor would take a good bit of force to cut a throat, true, but it is sharp as a replica, and i have cut myself on it and bled. I am very impressed with the quality of it: it is firm, and made of metal. Five stars for the Sweeney blade.
- So this razor may not be the most rad knife you will ever own, but it is pretty freakin sweet. I bought this to go with my Sweeney Todd outfit for Halloween, and did not expect much, but i was dumb for thinking so. I had this knife shipped 1-3 and got free shipping through amazon (very sweet, indeed) this m-fer got here in one day and is heavy as s--t. It isnt just some toy and goofy looking gas station replica. Its nice. Dont ever use it to shave with, unless you put it on youtube because this thing is barely sharp. Not a problem though, i dont want to be swinging around a super sharp razor while im getting trashed on Halloween and kill my best friend on accident like a drunk retard, lmao. Very nice though, you won't be disappointed.
- The blade is beautiful! Such detail to the design. Nice weight to it. A cool addition to any Sweeney Todd fan!
- Demon Barber Straight Razor of Sweeney Todd Movie Replica
This is a very good replica... the weight is great.. I have large hands and I am able to hold and move very easily.. the pivot is tight I have seen others who put oil on the pivot but I find it moves fine as you work it more... edge is dangerous.. not sharp enough to shave but used on plastic bottle and sliced through like a warm knife through butter....
Delivery was great much faster than they estimated... always nice to get quicker than to have to wait...
