  1. The XP Face sheild is light weight, comfortable, and allows good visibility. It is somewhat flexible, appears to be strong and does not appear likely to break under normal use. It requires the XP full headgear, (which is also quite light and comfortable, considering it has about twice the padding in some places as the standard head gear). The shield attaches with velcro to the full headgear. I have had both the face sheild and full headgear about 6 months. The Face Shield does not get used much, and it does not appear scratched. However, it if protects you just once from a kick to the nose, it will be well worth the price. The only drawback to this product is that it makes it difficult to reposition one's mouth piece if it gets knocked out of your mouth. This appears to be an unavoidable problem with any face shield. (Of course, the face shield should prevent anything from getting near your mouth.) Both the full headgear and the face shield are worth the price.

  2. The shield is very good, maybe it falls down a little bit, but still acceptable. The headgear is unnecessarily to big. I bought it because I broke my orbital bone in a MMA match. I tried it several times in sparring s with pro-boxers, and it works fine if your opponent fights on his 70%, but if he goes on his 100% you will feel that the shield is touching your face in every clean punch. Anyway is worth to use it and I doubt that exist something better than this. Good Luck!

  1. When I took Kung Fu, I was learing chinese broad sword. This was the sword we used. It is not stiff in any means, but it will bend to a high degree. It makes a really cool sound if you wiggle it back in forth and it you jab it just right, it makes a very "powerfull" sound. It's very hard to cut stuff with it, which I do not recomend doing. It is a traing sword.

  2. I thought to myself why not drop $50 bucks on my first training broadsword. First of all you can get it directly from MartialArtsmart site for 5$ cheeper. I didn't lern this until after I ordered it through Amazon. Out of all of the broad swords I have seen to train with this one is the most flimsy. The only thing this sword is good for is to make the wiggle sound!! A wooden sword would have been a better sword to train with IMHO.

I should have spent the extra $20 to get the Competition Broadsword. Yeah this one has a cool black scabberd and the carrying case it comes with rocks but blade is like a wet noodle.

I don't reccomend you buy this sword and spend the extra 20$ for a stiffer sword.
