1. I have been playing Yang-style T'ai Chi Chuan since 2002. Up until very recent, our group had not tried any weapons, so I have been very interested in learning a fan form for a while. Naturally, I was hesitant to try a DVD because of its obvious limitations. However, I purchased the T'ai Chi Fan 18-Form DVD and I have been extremely happy with it. This fan form is graceful, beautiful, and very easy to follow. The DVD is well put together, and the steps are clearly explained and demonstrated. Again, DVDs do have obvious limitations, but I highly recommend this one to anyone interested in learning this beautiful weapon and wanting to enhance their T'ai Chi form.

3. I ordered two books and out of the two, this one had what I needed. I am just a hobbyist who wants to throw knives for fun. The book has great demonstration pictures and reason for everything, but there isn't extreme amounts of reading involved.
