1. Something like this should be easy to carry. This slapper it's not. Make it two inches shorter, 1/8" thinner and 1/4" narrower and you got something. The strap should be eliminated - it's just cumbersome - and the handle should be contoured to allow a better grip. Also... it should be at least 3 ounces lighter. You want to knock somebody down, not kill them.

1. I bought this for a friend for his birthday, and he really liked it. It's made of steel. and the weight makes it more effective. The spikes are pointy enough to hurt without permanent injury, which is important with the strict self-defence laws in the States. My only complaint is that the spikes were rather far apart, and even with my massive hands it was a bit uncomfortable to hold. maybe someone who can put two fingers between the spikes would have an easier time. My friend really enjoyed this though, and thought it was a perfect self-defence weapon.
