2 comments about XP Face Shield.
  1. The XP Face sheild is light weight, comfortable, and allows good visibility. It is somewhat flexible, appears to be strong and does not appear likely to break under normal use. It requires the XP full headgear, (which is also quite light and comfortable, considering it has about twice the padding in some places as the standard head gear). The shield attaches with velcro to the full headgear. I have had both the face sheild and full headgear about 6 months. The Face Shield does not get used much, and it does not appear scratched. However, it if protects you just once from a kick to the nose, it will be well worth the price. The only drawback to this product is that it makes it difficult to reposition one's mouth piece if it gets knocked out of your mouth. This appears to be an unavoidable problem with any face shield. (Of course, the face shield should prevent anything from getting near your mouth.) Both the full headgear and the face shield are worth the price.

  2. The shield is very good, maybe it falls down a little bit, but still acceptable. The headgear is unnecessarily to big. I bought it because I broke my orbital bone in a MMA match. I tried it several times in sparring s with pro-boxers, and it works fine if your opponent fights on his 70%, but if he goes on his 100% you will feel that the shield is touching your face in every clean punch. Anyway is worth to use it and I doubt that exist something better than this. Good Luck!

  1. The R.E.A.L. Defensive Training Book

This book is a must have if you possess a concealed carry permit and/or own a handgun for personal self defense. I've had the chance to train with Matt Canovi at his training facility in Springfield, Missouri, and his new book and DVDs complement that training. His book outlines the statistical realities of police-involved shootings and gives readers an understanding of the do's and don'ts on when things get back quickly and you're forced to use your weapon against an attacker. If you can't fly to meet him first hand for personal training, this book is an excellent overview of his coursework. He covers all the major topics -- grip and stance, point shooting vs. front sight shooting, close quarter and shooting from the ground, multiple vs. single shots, and the myth of "knock down power." He also provides you with test scenarios you can use at the range. All of his training is backed up by serious statistical evidence gathered from FBI reports and first hand experience as a veteran cop. I look forward to his next book and strongly recommend this one for those in law enforcement or private citizens with CCW permits.

1 comments about Shaolin Monk Robe.
  1. Nice robe, material is somewhat resistant to moisture because of the tight weave, which is useful in protecting it from staining (Scotchguard may be useful in providing greater resistance to water and stains).

There are two straps of orange material, one at the neck and the other at the waist, the use of them is not obvious and no instructions are given, but the one at the neck seems useful in keeping the collar closed, but I could find nowhere to attach it, so I just wrap it over my left shoulder and around the back of the neck and it seems to work in keeping the collar in place, but in fast practice is ineffective.

The elastic bands at the bottom of the legs is both easy to use, and annoying after a time because of the tightness. It would be better if a more traditional tie strap were used, but only if it were made in such a way as to preclude being pulled inside the channel at the bottom of the pant leg (this is a problem with other types of traditional "Kung Fu" pants.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, I would rate this Shaolin Monk Robe a 7.

  1. This sword came right when they said it would and was actually sharp and was pretty clean, overall i am very happy with it.

  2. I really loved this sword I have been a Hitsugaya fan scince day one and have been waiting for them to make a full tang and battle ready version for a long time, a must have for any bleach fan!

  3. Very nice sword! Though not the same as in the picture.
The handle is NOT light blue as shown in the picture! It is in fact a much darker blue.

Took about 1 1/2 week for me to recive it, not the 2-4 buisness days as stated on shipping page.

  4. It took a little less than a week to get here, when I opened it up I noticed that the handle was not light blue it was dark so I was kinda eh =/ then I noticed on the bottom of the sheath that there are 3 gashes like it's been dropped or something, sheath is cheaply made and had blue paint around where you slide the blade into. Only other thing was oil of somesort I guess to keep the blade clean or from rusting all over the blade and on the inside of the sheath. Overall I give it a 3 star rating.

  5. I am a huge bleach fan. i love all the ppl in the show. and i love to see them all release there ban kai.. well to the point i was a little shocked to see that the sword that i recieved. it was not the one in the picture. It didn't have the blood groove in the blade. the color of the handle wasn't a big deal . i like it. one lady left a review that she bought this one for her son to play pirates with in the back yard . i hope she watches him with it . because it is extremely sharp. but over all i love the sword. and plan to buy more bleach swords.

  1. For the money, I can't complain too bitterly. The blade is diamond cross section only on the top half, the last third of the blade is paper thin and way too floppy. Had I known this I'd have gotten a different sword. The steel seems to be of reasonable quality but the pommel and grip are subject to loosening (an easy fix). I really should have known that any blade this inexpensive would not be terribly good but I had expected a stiffer blade which is why I had purchased the diamond section blade. Were the blade thicker and stiffer, I'd have been very happy as it really is quite inexpensive. It isn't a bad buy as long as you realize the blade will be paper thin and you expect that.
