1. The dagger came completely unsharpened with a square edge to the blade. I really don't want to try to sharpen the dagger completly from and dull blade. Besides that the dagger is fine.



2. I bought this for Halloween and it was a really great prop dagger.
   
   I recommend this dagger to anyone looking for a good looking prop.

   I like collecting odd weapons, I have maces, swords, claws such as this one and many others. I have to say, this is one of my favorites. The blades on the front and back come sharpened, the Spikes on the sides that are made to look like ribs are actually removable and are used as projectiles, and the back of the claw where your elbow would be houses another small throwing knife. The only complaint I have is that the spikes need some sort of cloth tied to it to stabilize it in flight to make it a suitable weapon. Another thing needed is a way to secure the back of the claw to your forearm. But all in all, a great collectable. It has at least one very satisfied owner.

1. There is a similar product on Amazon, but I wouldn't rate either of them very highly. This one (being reviewed here), was shorter than the similar/other model...and therefore, easier to extract from the sheaths. But the metal is so heavy (as compared to the similar/other/longer model which is lighter and much better balanced), that I couldn't get the belt (on this one being reviewed) to stay 'up' on my waist without making it so tight that I felt like I was cutting off my cirulation.



2. I received this product today and was extremely bummed. The sheaths, while typical nylon quality do not fit the blades well at all. One Kukri I have not been able to get out of the sheath after trying for an hour. The other Came out after pulling and tugging for almost thirty minutes. Speaking of the blades, they are of good quality and thickness, but they are NOT functional. These Kukris are show pieces only. There is no edge on the blade what so ever. There is also no marking in the description warning the buyer that these are show only. I caution anyone looking at these Kukris, Only purchase These If you want something pretty to hang on the wall. This particular set of kukris is not a camping tool, not a machete, It is nothing but decoration, or costume accessories.
