1. I love my healthy jump digital jump rope. It gives you a great workout. I felt better after my first jump. It really works out my legs and my lower body the most but I also felt it in my abs and arms. A great workout for the entire body. The counter works great so I can progress more and more each time wether I want to do more jumps or burn off more calories. That's where I find the challenge. The only negative I've found with this jump rope is that there's no way to turn it off after you have finished jumping. I've had it a little over 4-weeks and it's been on the whole time. The battery hasn't died......yet. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a change to their workout or a supplement to their current workout.

1. This is probably the best CD for children on the market. It is innovative, creative and educational. The words are clear, very understandable, and the music is lively to keep the attention of the children.

   Anyone working with young children should have a copy of this CD in their library...it's a winner!

4. Who can sit still to the tune of Rowdy Ropes? I dare you! This CD is full of a number of songs which will become your all time favorites when working with young children. The vocalization is crisp. The tunes are lively. The children have ample time to resond to the singer's cues. This is great music to use in movement based programs as well as in the PE school arena.

   After listening to the CD for the first time, I couldn't wait for my next gymnastic class to begin. The kids adored song #3, March Around Our Ropes. We performed Free Discovery during song #1, Rowdy Ropes - the tune kept the kids engaged in imaginative play. Each of their individual expressions were "correct!"

   Thank you for designing a CD with such joyful, engaging, action songs.




5. My daughter likes the cd, but it is just fast songs about jump roping. I thought it would be more chants to jump to.

1. I have been jumping rope every other day for a little over five months now. I started to jump rope to improve my fitness and endurance. Since I started I have been using a standard leather jump rope. However, I noticed it was (literally) wearing thin and before I replaced it I decide to look into my options. There were a couple of things slowing me down with the leather rope which I wanted to try to avoid next time around. First, it would stop dead at the slightest interference - ie a slight catch on the bottom of my shoe - which would break up my cardio workout. Second, after a certain amount of time it would kink and then the likelihood of it catching my shoe would increase and again, it would stop dead. I would then have to straighten it out manually before resuming my routine. Apart from that I loved that rope and it has served me well.
   
   Based on another review on this site I decided to buy this rope. The reviewer said that the BOA was less suceptible to stop dead and that alone - for me - made it worth a try.
   
   I have used the rope twice now and I have to say it definitely solves both my previous problems. The first time I used it I was able to jump for longer (without any interruption) than ever before. I know of a few times I felt it on my shoe but it kept going where my old rope would have stopped. Also, it doesn't kink so there is less down-time for me during a workout which is great.
   
   The reason I did not give this rope 5 stars is I'm not sure yet whether its as good as my leather rope in terms of the upper body workout. On the one hand its weighted so in theory it should be better. However, using this rope it almost feels asthough it turns itself. Its a bit like driving an automatic (car) after you've been used to driving a manual. I felt I got a better upper body workout with the leather rope, but I can't be sure... So I'll reserve my 5 star rating until I've given it long enough to see the results.
   
   In short, if you're like me and looking for a rope to improve fitness and endurance, you could do far worse than to buy this rope. If, on the other hand, your footwork is important, I fear it may be possible to become a bit lazy with this rope because its forgiving on that front. You may decide to stick with the leather alternative since it won't allow any room for error... For me, I plan to make this my primary workout rope for the next few months at least, interspersed with my leather rope to see what changes it has brought about. So far, I'm delighted with it. Great buy.



2. I am a Boxer that does compete In other words I really fight in the ring. Have been since I was *. I have used every jump rope that is out there. The Boa Rope is absolutely great, I think it enhances the workout it turns over easily and I can jump more often than speed rope without actually trying this yeilds a better workout for the fact the more revolutions a person does obviously the better workout more work for the muscles involved. Anyhow this rope is not for tricks designed specifically for speed. Best rope for pure conditioning. I would recommend getting this no matter what type of roper you are you will probably never jump with anything else after using it. For tricks and things like that get a second rope something that is made from the type of material the buddy lee rope is made of or that rope itself and I like the Olympic rope as 2nd best.
