- Update: the belt that arrived was NOT a tiger claw and was a cheaper quality belt. I am keeping it because I need it now. Please look at buying from another vendor to ensure you get a true "Tiger Claw" belt (there is a tag and they are wrapped in a Tiger Claw wrapper).
I have used a Tiger Claw belt -- My first belt (the white one from another discipline) was a Tiger Claw and WOW, what a rugged, sturdy rank belt. I have seen many belts that come with uniforms that are just really lousy quality. A Tiger Claw belt is heavy duty, stitched very well and ties easily. Through all the sweat and grime (you never wash a belt), you will cherish this one and it will carry you through your first steps in your martial art.
I've only had a white Tiger Claw and had what other belts were given to me through my Dojo and rank testing. If I were a Sensei, I would surely use this brand. Tiger Claw makes very durable martial arts items--the rank belts are no exception. Heavy duty and really something to be proud of.
They are not the cheapest, but I recommend them since earning a belt is a special moment.

- This belt is durable with plenty of stitching to take to the mat and also as much abuse you can throw at it. I spend a lot of hours on the mat and by far these belts are the best, they take a beating without coming apart or fraying. There also easy on your pocket book. I will definitely order from these guys again.
- this belt is perfect and can stand a lot of hard work , it's excellent I recommend it for every jujitsu player .
and by the way this is my first time using them and I'm very happy.
- the belt itself is well constructed. I've had mine for about 2 months and I try not to wash it too often, but I roll about 6 hours a week and belts get dirty. I've noticed some of the stitching on the belt is coming undone after 4-5 washes (in 2 months), but nothing awful. As far as the belt staying tied better than others... I can't say. This is my first belt, but I have to retie about every 5-10 min. during techniques and after every sparring session.
- This belt has worked out great, it does not come off during grappling and it is sturdy enough to take the abuse during the long hours of grappling. I would definetly reccomend this belt to anyone who practices Jiu-Jitsu.

- These belts are a decent, inexpensive belt for promotional ranking in the junior belt divisions.

- Very high quality belt, you will not find better for the price! you want a good belt among other high quality gear, look no further than Piranha Gear!!
- This is a high quality belt and has a very nice feel to it. Its much better than the ones that I owned before.
- I purchased a black belt to go with the Ninja Uniform I bought from Piranha Gear as a costume. Like the uniform, the belt is sturdy and designed to take quite a bit of punishment. I can't comment on how well the belt holds up under the strain of actual martial arts, but I can say that it's excellent as a costume piece.
- This is a nice medium weight belt. I like medium weight belts because they stayed tied. I do not want to have to keep tying my belt during Judo. The belt is thick enough to stand up to the abuse that a Judo belt will get. People are always grabbing and tugging on the belt. This is the best belt for the price. Piranha stands by their products and have the kind of quality missing from many other martial arts brand.
- I ordered this belt for kickboxing, the one I got in class was a little short, however this belt was perfect. An excellent medium weight belt, ties and holds well once broken in. Nice soft material. Not to mention the service from Piranha was exceptional! I couldn't have asked for anything more!

- I have purchased several of these and found them to be very durable. There are eight rows of stitching running the length of the belt and the ends are double stitched. I found the stitching near the ends of all the belts to be a little sloppy, but you really have to look close to see this. They are a little stiff, but that gives me a feeling that they would last over the long haul. After hundreds of times of being tied and untied, it is not easy to tell where the wear spot is from the knot. As far as fading, my belts are still as brightly colored as the day I purchased them, but I don't wash them either. I only put my belt on right before practice and then put it back in my bag after practice.
You'll advance to the next belt before you wear one of these out. A good durable belt and a good value at around $5.00.
- This belt looks very nice and shiny, but is a little stiff in the beginning.
- I have purchased two sets of these belts over the last month. The first order received was of a high quality belt, well stitched and finished. The belt was firm and slighty stiff as it should be. A good quality belt all round.
I then ordered a second set of the same belts but at a larger size. These belts where not of the same quality, in particular the finishing of the belt ends was poor. The belts seemed to have come from a longer strip and had been cut to size and heat sealed. The weight and firmness of the belts was also less then the first order. While adequate these belts where disappointing when compared to the first shipment.

- I am an amateur MMA fighter and although I am not in the gi when I fight, most of my jiu jitsu training is done in the gi. My previous belt had gotten too soft and started to fray on the ends...I replaced it with this one from Pirahna Gear, and I must say, I am impressed! It isn't too soft or too stiff, it stays tied which is awesome because I train HARD! This belt is an excellent quality and really affordable. I will absolutely be making purchases through Pirahna in the future...I'm always wearing my gear out so I'm sure I'll be making another order soon. :-)
- Ship time and seller communication were excellent. I roll gi a bunch and am very pleased with the belt. It is moderately thick, stitching is more than adequate, and the price is right.
- I started about a month ago and the belt feels great compared to the default shipped with it. It's tough, thick and of great quality. With any luck I'll be ordering my blue belt here too.
- For a belt that isn't rated as heavy duty, these belts are about as heavy duty as you can find! I ordered this as a sample to check out, but I am so impressed with it, I think I am going to switch over to Piranha Gear Belts for my students. These are very good looking and perfectly functional belts for the mats.
- I bought this belt because it was less than half the cost of all the other companies out there. The belt was delivered in two days and the quality is good. The width of the belt is the same as any other company. The thickness is somewhat less, but it's still a very nice belt at a great cost.
