- Alright, so I've boughten two of these, one broke and the other has held up, both have their paint scrape of during use. They were different lengths and the parts obviously aren't machined with precision.

4 comments about Screw on LED Light for Steel Baton.
- I had no idea it would be as bright as it is. I mounted it on my baton for late night walks. Cant get home early enough in the week to walk before sundown.
Make sure u order for the right baton.
- The light is not bright enought, cannot see things too well in the dark, I only used this light for few times, after that, I can't turn it back on anymore! I tried to change the battery, still doesn't work.... I won't buy another one to replace into my baton.
- This Expandable Baton L.E.D. (Light Emitting Diode) attaches to the Rear end of your Expandable Baton by simply screwing it on (righty tighty - lefty loosy) and is activated by screwing a ring clockwise (the arms usually go to the right)and locking it tight in place, and de-activated by - surprise - releasing the ring counter clockwise (time goes backwards if the arms go left). If you only own Digital Watches and clocks you may be out of luck with those simplistic directions.
LED Light For Telescoping Steel Baton
To allow this Expandable Baton L.E.D. Light to shine your path to wisdom, for approximately 6,000 hours you would of course need to install the two INCLUDED CR2032 batteries, which are round, flat and look like wrist watch batteries but LARGER.
+ should face the Baton , - should face the grip of the LED light.
One word of caution this LED light does NOT fit ALL of the batons on the market. I would strongly recommend purchasing the LED light WITH a baton Steel Baton Telescopic 16" Foam Handle with LED Light to ensure that they match.
As a rule of thumb when you purchase from my store indicate whether or not your Baton has Rubber Grips or Foam Grips, although it is not a guarantee that it will fit. If it doesn't fit return it to me and I will ship a replacement (ONLY if you purchased it from my store)!

- on the picture product is different.
I think picture quality is better.
Original has golden ring around very uncomfortable for switching on and off

1 comments about Slap Hat Extreme Self Defense Cap.
- The Slap Hat is a very plain baseball cap, and as such it draws little attention to itself. If you are looking for a non-lethal weapon that doesn't look like a weapon, this is it. I've worn it almost daily since I got it, and nobody has noticed anything out of the ordinary about it. The weight took a bit of getting used to, but it is actually very comfortable. The impact material is not one solid piece, but rather it feels like a beanbag, so you won't feel like you have a lead block on the back of your head while wearing it. If you are concerned that such a small, non-solid weight won't be effective when you need it, I've actually numbed my own hand by striking my forearm with it, and it sounds like a mallet when struck against solid objects. I have noticed that the weight tends to force the bill into a slightly higher position than I'm accustomed to wearing. I normally wear my hat brims a bit low, but it's a minor inconvenience. My one major complaint is that I have no idea what the impact material is actually made of. It is supposed to have the same density as lead, which leads me to believe that it is something else, but knowing the one thing that it isn't doesn't really narrow down the remaining possibilities. The reason I would like to know is that I don't want this thing to set off the metal detector wands that some bouncers use at clubs, or to lose it at an airport. I doubt that it is a metal, but I would feel better knowing exactly what I'm wearing. That aside, I can say that I am confident that the product will perform well if I ever need it to.

2 comments about Night Watchman 26" Impact Baton.
- I will admit I bought this baton for it was one of the cheapest of its kind I could find. Some of this size I have seen for $100 or more elsewhere online. I decided to purchase one for some self protection for I often walk at night for exercise, and at times I have had encounters with dogs and such that made me rather nervous being that was totally defenseless. I have to say that this baton although very cheaply priced seems to be very solidly built and takes a hell of wallop without even blinking. I was very impressed with its weight and quality for the price I paid. Unless you happen to live in an area similar to that of "West Side Story", this should be all that any regular slob like myself should ever need to give one some self assurance....
- Not sure if the baton I was shipped was a Night Watchman brand name. It only had a box labeled SOLID STEEL STICK with SHEATH. So far it seems to work but rattles a lot when being carried in the sheath. I thought the shipping was a little steep considering ten dollars in the same state as my address. BUT the shipping was fast and the baton does have some weight so that might not be a valid claim about the shipping price on my part. All in all I suppose I am reasonably satisfied. Gave it 3 stars and would have added more if I would of had proof of the brand baton I was shipped.

2 comments about Expandable Self Defense Baton 16 Inch Black with Nylon Baton Holder.
- Collapses smoothly and fits in my pocket nicely. I bought a 26" from another company with nicer rubber grip on it but this foam rubber grip is fine. It is not textured for extra holding power but it comes with a wrist string that makes up for it. Holster is fine. The tip does not unscrew as far as I can tell. All around, very nice for $20 or whatever I paid.
- It can be collapsed into 6.5" and put into the pocket. When expanded into 16", it can be a helpful weapon of self-defense. It can be expended easily with a throw and collapsed by vertically drop it with the tip downward as instructed in the user's guide. Since it can be put into the pocket, the carrying case seems not needed.

1 comments about 31'' Black Steel Expandable Baton with Sheath.
- This is bigger then I thought, but if you do the math, it is about 11" long when closed.
I like it, I do not fear walking the dogs any more, I took it with me to yellowstone and felt good about it.
It is somewhat heavy, which for it's size is good.
You want something to hide, get something smaller. If you want some distance and knock out power, get this.

5 comments about Black Cat Self Defense Keychain.
- I purchased this to give me confidence when I am out by myself. It fits nicely in my hand and is made of sturdy metal. I would recommend.
- This tool makes a very effective weapon that can be used in a number of ways. It doesn't seem like a good thing to have dangling on your keychain all the time though, since it's rather large and weighty for a keychain attachment. It can be carried around in your pocket easily and discreetly and isn't very obviously a weapon, so it still is a great carry-around-in-public self-defense tool.
- I bought this for my mom to keep in her purse, but for fun I thought I'd try it out. It barely squeezed over my big fingers, cut off circulation to my middle finger, and was really hard to get off. Don't buy this if you have large hands/fingers. But for a lady, or a man with small or medium sized hands/fingers, buy away! Looks like it would be really painful, especially if you hit them in the face with it. And I don't think anyone would immediately think of it as a weapon on first glance, so it's somewhat concealable.
- Got this for my mom so she could feel a little better about walking through the parking garage at night, good price, good little key chain. I would NOT want to be hit with this...it could f*** someone's face or groin up for good.
- This is designed to be a tool with an important defense purpose.
It can not perform that function because the cat's eyes are too small to fit an adult woman.
(got it for my wife)
I have "medium" sized hands, and can't get past my 2nd nuckle.
This might fit a young teen, or petite woman.
I hope they re-design this a bit.
It is otherwise well made, and would probably stand up to intended use.
It's a good idea to have it look like a cat, because sadly, law abiding citizens are not permitted to defend themselves in many states these days.

5 comments about 26" Telescopic Steel Baton.
- It's heavy. It could do damage to people, property, self, so be careful. Good bang for the buck.
- I'll start off by saying that I can't see what this baton can not do that ones costing 70 or 80 bucks can do. Lets look at some basics: Does it open like it's supposed to? Yep, swing it around quick and suddenly you have a 26" steel defense weapon. Will it hurt if you strike someone (lawfully) with it? You bet it will! Let me say this, I don't want to be the one getting hit with it!
Now for some specifics. Yes, the rubber grip gives off a horrible odor that in itself should ward off evil doers. The grip gives off such a stink I can't stand to have it in the same room with me, but that's beside the point.
Next; it will take some breaking in time to get it to the point where you don't have to swing it as hard to get it to expand, or beat the daylights out of it to collapse it. If you approach it correctly and consider all the parts are new and need to be "seated" and worn a bit to operate smoothly you will end up with a nicely working unit. Granted some folks don't have the patience to sit and fiddle with something that long, but I have 10 hours a night at work in which to do little else but.
I deducted 1/2 a star for the case it come with, it's not the handiest item. I do not like the velcro loop at the top as it holds it securely, but does not allow for a quick one grab draw. If you fasten it loosely enough for that, then it's likely to fall out at some point. I deducted the other 1/2 star for the grip. It does have a diamond checkered pattern on it however if your hands are sweaty in the least and you don't have a gorilla grip on the thing it is likely it could go flying off into the wild blue the first time you use it under pressure. I will be wrapping mine with sports grip tape in lieu of a nice foam grip that probably wouldn't give off a noxious smell either.
Bottom line: It will do what it's supposed to provided you spend some time and familiarize yourself with it. Don't write it off because it opens hard right out of the box and takes some CAREFUL beating to close at first. It will break in. Consider what it cost, and the fact that it is very sturdy steel which when deployed (lawfully) will do what it's intended to do and that is cause pain compliance. I don't know what a baton costing 7 or 8 times more will do any differently, and I'm sure the guy on the receiving end won't know the difference either.

- I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of the quality of this baton but I figured the price was right and it was worth a shot. I once had an ASP baton but it was stolen many years ago. I remember it well though. This baton really impresses me. It seems every bit as good as the ASP baton that I remember, only the grip is better on this one. I have a lot of wild predators in my area and I have no doubt that if a coyote or vicious dog came at my little girl there would be 26" of steel in the animals way in a hurry. Remember Call Of The Wild? Even a wolf is no match for a man with one of these. I had a vicious dog come at my little girl as I was walking with her on my own driveway. Fortunately a big stick was handy at the time and I was able to quickly pin the dogs head to the ground with it. I didn't need to hit it. Pushing its head to the ground did the job with no real injury to the dog. If it remained vicious then it would need some more drastic action. After that experience I worried about a time when a stick wouldn't be handy so I bought this. It is big in a pocket, 9 1/2 inches to be exact. It is heavy, but that is the point. It will collapse best if you bring it strait down vertically onto a welcome mat or something similar over concrete, stone or asphalt. You won't scratch it that way. Just check the laws in your area for where you can have or carry it.
- The baton is about 10 inches in its shortest state which makes it difficult to conceal, especially considering that in most states it is illegal to carry a baton such as this (I live in Texas where it is illegal to carry these batons on your person or in your car). I took off a star because the company did not state the length of the baton when I looked at the product specs, and I expected it to be something that could easily fit in my pocket. Of course this isn't the case at about 10inches and about an inch wide the only way to conceal it is if you have on baggy clothes. Others have stated that it is difficult to retract, and it is. You won't be able to retract it with your bare hands and I wouldn't recommend it either, if you try you will more than likely hurt your hand or pinch your palm attempting to retract it. It states on the instructions that you need to vertically slam the baton down on a hard surface at a 90 degree angle. Now this may sound like it would damage the baton, but just don't be an idiot and slam it down on concrete or marble or linoleum, and you'll be okay. I usually just slam into my carpet floor or onto the ground where there's grass or dirt, and if there's no carpet around if you hit it hard enough with the hardest surface of your palm it might hurt a little but it gets the job done. The baton itself is quite nice, I would imagine it could take quite a beating it seems sturdily built but the black paint chips a little easy but as long as your not abusing the baton it will maintain its black coating. The baton itself comes with a black holster and a foam grip. I am glad that the grip itself has a good foam grip and is tight against the baton handle. I think 26" is just the right length also I think anything shorter and you have would have to really get close to your attacker, you have to keep in mind that if the grip is 10 inches long retracted, its only 6", 11" or 16" extracted in length, so if you think about it you're only getting 16 inches to use, depending on where you grip the baton. All in all this is a great baton at a really good price, I checked my local Army Surplus store and noticed they had batons that were very similar to this baton but at more than double the price and were only about 21" extended. Also, something worth noting, I ordered this product and wasn't supposed to receive it for about 10 days but was pleasantly surprised to receive within 3 days.
- This is a great defense weapon. You can't fully understand how powerful this baton is until you extend it and feel how strong and powerful the steel is. A light tap on your hand will bring a slight sting. To get a feel for it, I have extended it about 10 times or so. The first few times you open it and then strike the ground to close it, there is no problems. Eventually the first section will start to get stuck. After I oiled it with WD-40, it now closes but with a little more force and 2 strikes at the ground. But other than that, it is a great weapon. I would recommend it to anyone.
